Recently went to dinner here and had a wonderful experience. Our servers name I believe was Danny. He was very helpful in choosing what would be the best option for a meal. The Brussels appetizer was incredible. Cooked just right. The wine selection was a selection I could tell was hand picked. Also their beer selection was really more impressive than I’ve seen at other restaurants. The Delmonico was fantastic and cooked perfectly to order. The plate presentation was impressive. If you would like an excellent dinning experience, in a really impressive atmosphere with incredible food, come here. Also, I came by for brunch this past Sunday and ordered a Bloody Mary. I have to say, it was the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had. The horse radish had a nice zing to it. A perfect bite! I sat at the bar. I believe the bartenders name was Alex, or Erin, I can’t recall.(He was really funny and was sporting the shaved head look). Awesome staff here! I will be back!

Latitude is one of our favorite restaurants in the Springfield area. Bar always has a solid draft list and a great selection of Bourbon. Appetizers are amazing. The Fried Brussels Sprouts are legendary. We have had the Risotto, Scallops, Braised Beef Rib, and Beef Tenderloin. All are excellent.

Love the Sunday brunch! Aaron, the bartender knew how to make an incredible Bloody Mary. He was witty and polite. Perfect amount of horseradish and spice! The burrito was a great compliment to the bloody so I recommend that unless you don’t like a little spicy in your brunch. in that case try the bananas foster French toast! We will be back for another round soon!

Above average presentation and ambience… but very average food, not worth the price tag. Save your money and skip Lattitude.

They can’t make a Bloody Mary — the horseradish was not spicy but unpleasantly bitter. I ordered their Blackened Shrimp Brunch burrito and asked for avocado inside, they said they could do it, yet they didn’t. Not just was there no avocado inside the burrito but there was no blackening on the shrimp, when inquired about it the waitress said the blackening goes in the burrito with the other ingredients, not the eggs. I think this place should train their staff better, who ever heard of scrambled eggs with blackening spices?

Had appetizers,(Brussels sprouts and calamari) special of the night: cod with lemon white wine sauce and lentils — all delicious! Extensive drink menu and nice offering of craft brews. Had one of my favorites on tap BBC Steel Rail. Server was attentive at the right times, friendly and professional. I don’t usually have dessert but wanted to extend my dining experience. I wasn’t disappointed with the fried bread pudding and vanilla ice cream — yummy! Overall a superb dining experience on a Friday night!

Good, attentive staff. But don’t get fooled by the pricing on the liquor menu. Maybe it’s designed to mislead customers. Serving liquor«neat» has that new, special meaning at Lattitude — still rare, thank heavens. «Neat» at Lattitude in 2016 is — surprise — a fifty-percent *up*charge for a poured shot of brandy served without ice, without chilling, without mixing anything into the glass but brandy. There’s a fun article online at Bloomberg News called«Beware the Next Nefarious Up-Charge: Whiskey, Neat». It turns out pouring a mixed drink with an honest full shot in it is obsolete and replaced with short pours, that an owner can’t stand to serve a real full-shot«neat».

We went here for our anniversary. It was very busy on a Wednesday night! The Brussels sprouts are a must have. I wish the beer selection was a little better. I got the salmon which was on special that day. It was cooked to perfection.

I rarely give 5 stars, but our experience last night certainly deserves it. We had a reservation for 8:00 and arrived a bit early to have drinks at the bar. Our bartender was fabulous(unfortunately I can’t remember her name) and recommended an excellent bottle of wine, which we loved. Our server was equally as fabulous and we enjoyed the our nicely paced meal. We ordered the fried Brussels sprouts and they were delicious. Hubby ordered the Ahi tuna for his main course and I ordered the salmon. Both delicious and cooked to our requested temps(rare for him, medium rare for me.) The staff made our experience a great one and we will definitely be back.

While I’ve never been dissatisfied with the fare here, the $$ cost rating is more like $$$ and in some cases $$$$

Experience was outstanding. Hostess warmly greeted, atmosphere immediately inviting! Brooke was our server and treated us as if we were her only table. We had the Caesar to start, followed by the Delmonico steak and a side of Brussels sprouts. My husband and I split every dish(Brooke didn’t even grimace as a matter of fact she even had the kitchen split it for us!) Portions are very generous, perfectly seasoned and cooked to temperature. When you are in the area, this place is a must. There is plenty of street parking and a lot in the back– perfect!

I came in with very little expectations. A llast minute fill in because we changed our mind on our original dinner plans. I kept thinking to myself as we were driving here, how can this place top The Federal which is another restaurant right in the area. To start we ordered their fried calamari which is drenched in this thai sweet chili sauce. Believe me, it was actually good. Main course I order the beef short ribs and she ordered the scallops. When your meal comes out, don’t let the small size of the dish fool you, there is a lot more food in there than you think. The short ribs were so tender you don’t even need a knife to cut it. It came with this sweet mash with cheddar cheese and some spouts. Absolutely incrediable combination and taste. Can’t say much about the Seared Diver Scallops which comes with Pumpkin ravioli, some sage cream, truffled micro greens. I never gave it a try as she ate all of it before I can look. Of course dessert is always some crème brûlée. Their parking does stink big time. I drove the weekend toy car and it does not like their dirt parking lot. Drive the SUV. They do have valet parking out front for those that don’t know how to use their arms and leg and self park. Four stars for service. It was not bad service but it was also not the best. Our waitress was unique and fun but could have been quicker and more prompt. Overall, still a remarkable experience and I will come back. It is a nice little place to take someone one a date. In our case, we were just hungry fat asses.

I like this place for lunch. The scallops and burger are two great dishes. My son loves the fried Brussel sprouts. With the Big E coming up Lattitude is a calm respite from the noise of the fair too. They serve dinner here but I have not tried that.

I had really high hopes for this restaurant. My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and were very disappointed in the food and the service. I completely agree with Ken K’s review and wish I had read it before ordering. The positives-Our cocktails were both very good and the oysters we ordered were very fresh and tasty. The negatives– Our server rushed us through our entire meal. We arrived at 6:30 and were in our car by 7:30 after ordering drinks, appetizers and full dinners. When I am paying the prices that are charged I expect not to be rushed, She also took our signed check while we were still sitting there, which in my years as a server I never would do except if we were closing. I ordered the duck duo and LOVE duck. This was disgusting. I should have sent it back. The breast tasted plasticy and of poor quality, I ate maybe two pieces. The sauce on both the breast and the legs was a clearly pre-packaged«foam» that added nothing except the taste of corn syrup. The«sous vide duck leg Confit» tasted like the deep fryer, nothing more to say about that. For $ 26 I expect significantly better quality and execution. My husband ordered the Shrimp, Mussels and Andouille which was a dish served over grits. The portion was good but again for the price it was of poor quality and the flavor was bland. We will not be back here. It is expensive and of low quality.

It was an alright experience. My lady and I went there for dinner when we were traveling and I found the place looking around on the internet. Being a fan of farm to table places the place at first read the place sounded good so I made a reservation on opentable for 8pm on 8÷7÷2015. Upon arrival there was no host or hostess at first, and after hovering at the doorway for a few minutes and watching waitstaff as well as what turned out to be the hostess walk by without even a single greeting, I managed to get the hostess’ attention at the hostess station(which is tucked around the corner from the entrance and isn’t obvious. The hostess doesn’t welcome or greet, and I had to practically yell my name to her since it was next the entrance, kitchen, and bar. I was told that it will be a few minutes, keep in mind my reservation is for 8 and I arrived 7:50. The hostess circles back finally around 8:30 to seat us, after asking me if sitting outside would be ok. I agreed as I didn’t want to wait much longer seeing that it’s 20 minutes past what I made my reservation for. I understand reservations aren’t necessarily precise times, but what’s the point when I’m seated a half hour after my reservation? Finally seated outside at a metal table and metal chair hightop… and someone playing guitar and signing. I came here to eat good food and with the menu and reviews I expected better. Had the hostess mentioned this fact, I would have declined the outdoor seating. As for the food, we ordered the fried brussel sprouts for our appetizer which was really good and a pretty big portion. I thought that there was hope yet. We also ordered drinks and started with the house specialty drinks. I ordered Pablo’s gin and juice and she ordered a bourbon drink with apricot liquor and they were pretty good. For dinner I ordered the duo of duck and she ordered shrimp, mussels, and andouille. The waitress asked my preferred doneness for the duck and I answered medium rare. Food comes out and we are running out of space on the table with empty dishes that weren’t cleared. Awkward to work around until the waitress finally sees this and clears the dishes from the appetizer. Her dish was great, well seasoned and cooked and neatly presented. Duo of duck on the other hand, is another story… The idea with the plate is that the breast is pan seared and the leg is sous vide than confit. The breast was almost rare where the fat wasn’t even rendered. It was very obvious that the breast was quickly seared and never really cooked, plus bland. Yes duck is fatty and rich typically, still needs to be seasoned. Moving on to the duck leg, it was again bland and looked like deep fried chicken minus the batter. Confit is to slowly cook and with duck slowly cooked in its own fat slowly. This had the feel and texture of seeing the inside of a deep fryer. The kale had zero seasoning as well, and the starch was a wild mushroom and farro«risotto»: I should have paid attention to the quotes around the word, «risotto»(that’s how it’s listed on their menu) as it was absolutely nothing like a risotto. It was mushrooms and farro fried together, that’s it. We ordered additional drinks during dinner and we are fans of classic cocktails. Sure I don’t expect every bar to know classics, but after striking out on five drinks between the two of us with the poor waitress having to run back and forth to the bartender to ask of he knew the drinks. While this isn’t a huge deal in the overall experience, I wanted to mention it in case anyone wishing to go here will be best advised to stick to commonly known drinks if ordering outside of their house specialty drinks. After all of this I gave it two stars as the place had some hits, but far too many misses between service, food, and atmosphere. Now that I think of it, I don’t know if the place offers specials or not as nothing was mentioned by the waitress nor was anything described. I honestly can’t see myself recommending this place as there are a lot of great farm to table places in Massachusetts alone and this place doesn’t come close to the rest. I also can’t see myself going back there either when back in that area.

Service last night was excellent. Food was very good but not perfect. Nothing to dock stars over but hopefully management will work to improve and prevent the following: Scallops were gritty. You gotta really clean them! Lamb is a good choice. Brussel sprouts are a must order item for the table,(though the side sauce was a little«gelatinous» for lack of a better description. No sauce is needed anyways.

While visiting the area and staying at a hotel close by, I searched Unilocal for recommendations and found this place. It turned out to be pretty nice! I ordered the orange-glazed duck wings, pork milanese, and vanilla bean crème brûlée. Everything was delicious(although the pork was just a bit overcooked) and our server Brooke was great — friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu! If I lived in the area, I would definitely return.

What a stunning restaurant! Who would have expected to find such a world-class fine-dining experience located along Memorial Avenue in West Springfield, MA? Lattitude can be found in a small bricked building which is directly across from the main gates to the«Big E» exposition fairgrounds in this western Massachusetts town. Lattitude’s Executive Chef Jeffrey Daigneau literally grew up in the restaurant industry, and later graduated from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. He went on to star at several prestigious New York City and Massachusetts Cape Cod restaurants before returning home and opening Lattitude in 2008. Chef Daigneau brought the farm to table concept to western Massachusetts with his creative ideas which flow from the pages of his menus by way of grilled beef tenderloin with white sweet potato purée, pan seared scallops in a candied walnut sage cream sauce, fried Brussels sprouts with sweet chili aioli, and much, much more. He has definitely brought fun and fine dining to the area. I made a weeknight reservation, and it turned out to be a good thing since the restaurant was quite full. In addition to the large dining room, they have an event hall where a friend of mine is having his wedding reception later this year, and an outdoor patio with a gas fire pit and live music. Everyone told me that I *HAD* to order the fried Brussels sprouts appetizer, and the darned thing was exceptional. Imagine very fresh Brussels sprouts, split in half length-wise, then quickly pan-fried, and served with a sweet chili aioli dipping sauce. You cannot believe how amazingly melt-in-your-mouth delicious this tasted. The recipe seems so very simple, that I have to give it a try at home. For my main course I had the Blackened Ahi Tuna entrée which was seared sushi-grade tuna which came with wasabi-mashed white sweet potatoes. There was also a side of Napa cabbage apple slaw, sprinkled with crispy wontons and a mango Habanero dressing. Good Lord that was awesome! My server, Emily, tried her best to talk me into one of their homemade desserts, but I was absolutely stuffed. She was an outstanding server, giving me all sorts of recommendations about the menu, and then chatting with me when she found out that I was from Florida. I learned a lot about the restaurant from visiting with her. Truly amazing food that is worth the drive from anywhere in the Pioneer Valley! I’ll be a regular when I’m back in town.
