Tai Kong is probably one of the town’s best kept secret unless you have worked in or with the Chinese restaurants in town from the past. They are actually a wholesale distributor to restaurants, but they would also sell some of their stuff at retail price. The décor is just like a warehouse here. My mom likes to buy cases of rice noodles because she goes through them quite fast and they tend to last a long time. If there is a particular product of Asian food item you regularly consume, then this might be the place to purchase them from. There is a good chance that you might have to speak Mandarin to buy something or get a good price from here though. I guess they are the shady version of a Chinese Costco, and they are located in a back alley type area as well…
