Academy For Little Children

I have been sending my two kids here for the past year, and have had a very positive experience. We came to this daycare first because they offered bussing to and from the West Warwick elementary schools, which was very important as both my husband and I work full time. Last year we had my daughter attend the kindergarten program they had, and I am SO glad I did. She LOVED school, and she learned alot, and was very prepared for first grade this year. I was a tad reluctant at first since the kindergarten program was a bit more expensive than a before and after school program, but I loved the small class size (7 kids). The teacher gave each child an enormous amount of attention and was able to tend to each child’s individual needs. I was so sad when my daughter had to attend public school this year. :-(my son also has been attending since he was 3 months old, and the teachers in each room have been great. Parents will be happy to know the turnover is very low from what I’ve seen so kids can form an attachment. I can honestly say that my kids are loved here. I am always told what is going on and how he’s doing and if there are concerns. The classes are divided up by age more than other daycares, and each class is named after an animal. The safety is better than any other daycare I’ve been to, there’s a fingerprint needed for access. There are tons of activities for families…. from yard sales to movie nights to picnics, and even date nights where you can leave your kids until 9pm! I love that I can bring both my toddler and elementary school child to the same place. which is rare to find, and tuition is very competitive. Highly recommend. A+++++

My friend (a new mom) was looking for childcare as she was preparing to return to work. As a single mom, she needed her daughter to have structure and a warm environment where she could interact with other kids her age. She chose the academy and is thrilled. The staff has been very professional throughout the tour and now as she attends. They are so easy to work with.
