Factory of Terror

I heard of this place by seeing it on tv every Halloween so I had to check it out! Their hours are weird so I had to go after work on Sunday the 25 of October 2015. We arrived at like 830 it let has a very cool scary feel to the entrance! Upon entering we were greeted by a really cool but scary looking ghoul! Their make up and costumes are amazing! I don’t want to tell to much about the experienced but I will say it doesn’t matter if you are first on line in the middle or last on line! We were first on line haha! You are going to get shocked beyond belief! Just be prepared to run jump and anything else!!! Hahahaha enjoy!

I am in the minority here but I really enjoyed this. We went to Fall River a few weeks ago because we purchased the deal online where you get two locations for the price of one. The Fall River one wasn’t as good as the one in West Warwick. The building is located in an old mill building that has other businesses in it. However it is very over grown and really added to the spookiness. I was glad went and would recommend going.

This is one of the worst haunted houses that I’ve ever been to. Only had 1 strobe light and only had black lights in the ticket area. Should have used more actors and less props. Totally not worth $ 23.

First off, I have attended some of the best haunted attractions in the country, and some of the worst. I am choosy as to where I will spend my time and my money because there are so many attractions to choose from and not enough October weekends to attend them all. What really stands out about Factory Of Terror is that I have NEVER paid so much to get so little. I am not complaining about the cost I am complaining about what you get for that cost. Their poorly designed web site makes it sound as if there is more than one attraction. In reality it is just «sections» of their one walk through,. The walk through itself takes approximately 15 minutes from start to finish and that’s it. It may be worth it for people who live less than 5 minutes from the so called attraction to attend but to travel any further than that is not worth your time. The walk through itself is mediocre at best, The ladies behind the counter who sell the tickets are scarier than anything you find along the walk through. (This is not sarcasm seriously great job on the make up ladies, it beats the heck out of the idiotic «clown» in the 2 dollar mask who is meant to «scare» people in line) Since their price is comparable to what you would pay to attend other places that have 3 to 4 attractions I would recommend you not waste your money on this one. Even the little girls who appeared to be 7 or 8 years old in our group were not scared, or impressed.

I never went to one of these before. I feel sorry for all the people who went to this and didn’t have groupons. I paid $ 25. It would have been $ 35 or 40 otherwise.
The place was busy. There was probably a good hour wait.
The first part of the show is a laser tag type thing where you get guns and shoot at «undead» in a type of gallery.
Then you get escorted to the «scary» part with fictional stories about the location like tales of dead bodies in the river, etc…
The tour literally takes place in an old factory.
It is self lead through a dark maze that is basically one «scary» room setting to another with people hiding in places that jump out and try to scare you.
As I was walking through, one of the staff complimented me because he was unable to scare me after 2 attempts.
The most amusing part was watching my fiends whine about the «scary» place and the person complimenting me.

I wish I could have given this place zero stars. After my best friend and I went to Fear Town at the Seekonk Speedway (10/​10, great place!), we were CRAVING more fear. Went to Factory of Terror because we had heard commercials on the radio and all, and my friend went to one in Springfield a few years back and he said it was terrifying. First of all, the online price was $ 18. Reality: $ 20. They greet you with free cold popcorn and you proceed to wait in line while a guy with a fake chainsaw with a speaker attached comes past you every 5 minutes. Like the other post said, you wait in line forever, then do some bull video and crappy laser tag with zombies (the same four people over and over again) who don’t even die when you shoot them. Then you’re herded to yet another line and have your picture taken with a bunch of strangers. The factory itself was a joke. We encountered probably 9 actual actors, most of whom just pointed in the direction you were supposed to go next. Then, suddenly, you walk through a door and BAM! Bright fluorescent lights and the exit. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME! I swear you’ll have much, much more fun at Fear Town, and it’s only $ 14 a pop.

Factory of Terror in West Warwick was the worst haunted attraction my family and I ever visited. You first spend about 45 min. in line and are then locked in a room to view an infomercial about their laser tag affiliate. After this you are herded over to experience this lame laser tag. When this is over you are taken outside to wait in yet another line. Still thinking it was going to be good our spirits were up, however this was short lived when we finally entered the factory well prepared to be terrified. There were hardly any actual live actors, the lighting was too poor to make out the props, and it was confusing to find your way around. (we actually went the wrong way at one point). The ending was also confusing, as you were abruptly let out into a brightly lit hallway with an actor (finally) who was pointing you to the exit. The people we were paired up with couldn’t believe it was over either.
So if you are looking for terror, the Factory of Terror is not the place. It makes me wonder why we had to sign a death waver?
