Worst sewer dump restaurant. Awful. Haven’t been since they were closed yrs ago to sewage backup. Food tasted like the sewer. Continue driving into WW to HongKong.

House of wu. What can I say about this place that hasn’t already been said about Iraq. Its big, messy, and after being there for a short time you wonder how you ended up there in the first place. I think Obi Wan described House of Wu perfectly when talking about the star port, Mos Eisley in the first stars wars film stating: «[House of Wu]. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.» My friends and I consistently go here for two reasons, the scorpion bowls and the people watching. The latter being the real draw to the place. You never know what Kent County legend you will come across in this hovel. It could be the high school’s star quarterback from years past who was never able to make it out of town after peaking at 17 years old. You may also find your junior high sweetheart who after 3 kids and a battle with intravenous drugs, doesn’t quite look as cute as you remember. Regardless, the place should invest in a guestbook for all patrons to sign upon entering. I would pay good money to see the names of ghosts of years past to have cozied up by the bar eagerly sipping their scorpion ball thinking to themselves, «If coach just gave me the ball with 5 seconds left, we could’ve been state champs, no doubt.» Perhaps my favorite memory of «The Wu» was when my sister in law, innocently enough, went to use the ladies room and found a man passed out drunk on the floor. The waiters didn’t seem to think this was anything out of the ordinary. This is the kind of place we are dealing with. You may be wondering why I gave this place 5 stars. Simple. The drinks. If you are looking to get obliterated and only spend about $ 12, this place is going to be heaven. Their scorpion bowls are so strong. Consitently after taking the first sip I say to myself«There is no way in hell I finish this». Lo and behold 30 minutes later im doing the«wu tip»(tipping the bowl towards you in order to get every last drop) and wondering how I ended up here in my life. The service is great if you get that awesome Portuguese waiter(im sorry I cant recall his name). He is super funny, recognizes me and my degenerate friends, and consistently serves us the strongest scorpion bowls humanly possible #respect. Food is aight. So to make a long story short, you go to House of Wu for the scorpion bowls, you stay for the people watching. Just make sure your shots are up to date before entering, this place IS on the outskirts of arctic afterall.

The Wu was my favorite. I loved their vegetable lo mein and beef teriyaki. I probably ate there 5 – 6 times a month. Then a good friend told me she found a big hunk of hair so I refrained from going. The thought of a wad of hair totally turned me off. Well, I tried it about two weeks ago. Ir’s just not the same. The beef was like shoe leather and the lo mein was soggy and tasteless. I asked for a little extra teriyaki and they charged me $ 2.00 for it. Very disappointed. Sorry, Wu, I’m done.

I go there all the time and I love there chicken teriyaki and chicken fingers. Beef teriyaki is to die for. Love there scallion pancakes always have their dumplings and the house wings are a must have. In the summer I always get the blueberry piña colada and although it doesn’t say it on the menu the presentation of there ice cream sundae is beautiful and its delish. You have to try their wanton soup the wantons taste awesome and I will be going back.

Upon first entering it seems like a nice restaurant. The food was excellent but as for seating it was terrible. The tables were so small and packed together, it makes the whole visit feeling uncomfortable. I wouldn’t dine in here but because the food tastes so good I’d take out

I pass many Chinese restaurants on my way from north kingstown to west warwick. This is by far the best. The food is so delicious every time we go which is often. The scorpion bowls are great too. I asked the waitress how long the cook has been there since I find the food so consistent. She said 30 years. And the prices are excellent as well.

I am not from this part of Rhode island but I went here for the first time and it was horrible. I ordered a boneless spare ribs combination plate and it sucked. The ribs were dry, plain, no flavor and over cooked. The rice was the exact same way. I will not order from here anymore.

Best crab rangoons. Our family loves the food so much we don’t care that the place needs to be blown up and renovated. Great food and service for a good price. Thank you wu

I went there for my friends 21st birthday and no one was impressed by the food. It was all extremly greasy and way to salty to enjoy. Also, just a warning, if you order a chicken dish, or beef dish, off the part of the menu that says beef and chicken, there is no rice involved… at all… Just chicken/beef.

Went there for take out, hadn’t been in years. Their fried rice is one of the best I have had and the chicken lo mien was great, it had big mushrooms in it which I am a huge fan of. The egg roll I didn’t like because it was that mushy red stuff, I like the ones with cabbage so don’t get it is you are not into the red stuff… probably has a much more technical term but you should get my drift :)

I’ve been coming here for about 20 years and I’ve always gotten the exact same dish because I love it too much to try something else. Staff is great– very friendly and leave you enough time to not feel like they’re all over you. They’ll make changes to the menu if you ask nicely. I always get boneless chicken combo with the rice and chow mein. I ask for sticky wing sauce on the side instead of brown gravy because their sticky wing sauce is SLAMMIN’. Try it! Their egg rolls are also awesome and huge, in fact all portions are very large. I’m not an alcohol person and neither is anyone in my family, but the people at the bar always seem a little sketchy, but the bar is positioned away from the dining area so that you don’t need to be in interaction with anyone if you don’t want to. Otherwise, great prices, friendly staff, large portions and delicious food. Give it a shot!

Ah, the place my parents would take us for good report cards, or to get take out on the odd saturday night when we didn;t have enough leftovers for a leftover night. I remember the waitresses always fancying up the sprites we got with umbrellas and fruit like they were tacky tiki drinks. The food has always been consistent. The other week I was hanging out at my parents and they decided to get take out, pork fried rice and chicken wings. Hot oniony fatty rice as always and the wings were ooeey gooey drenched in sauce. Another testament to them, my father has celiac’s disease, and can eat their pork fried rice and chicken wings. Very rare for him to eat take out or comfort food. I used to be a fan of their egg foo young, lo main and chow main, but its been at least 10 years since I’ve had anything but fried rice and chicken wings. Actually on one last allergen note, their egg rolls used to and probably do still contain baby shrimp. I learned this the hard way with a group of high school friends.

I think the food has seriously gone down hill over the last few years. This used to be one of my favorite places, now it’s just a place I go when I don’t feel like traveling. The drinks however are good and very strong, I’ll get drinks with friends here on occasion and that can be fun, the food needs work.

Place is clean and friendly. For me, it kind of ends there. There was really nothing at the table that we ate that we found to be ‘good.’ We did not partake of the drinks. I will say from the reviews that I have read and the size of the crowed at the bar, that really may be there focus. I will say the portions were huge and the price of the items pretty good, so as to give you a lot for your money. However, if flavor is what you are after, I am not sure this will do it for you. If you are there to drink, and make sure you have some food in your stomach, this place is probably a great place to go.
