My daughter wanted to see this band that was performing here, as I did not want her to go alone, I tagged along. I didn’t think this kind of places even existed any more! It looks like a very big barn, smell of mildew was overwhelming, there was all these spider webs on the skyline for added charm. Unfortunately the sound was absolutely awful, it echoed. Not worth the $ 12.00 i had paid to go in. Though the atmosphere was pretty friendly, I saw a 11⁄2 year old boy dancing with his parents, also lots of other very young kids. One is never too young to be introduce to live music. I have to give them the credit for thinking of the older folks, they had lots of comfortable sitting. There were billiard tables, a bar and pizza. The bathrooms went real well with this building, it was pretty run down and dirty. To top it the lock got jammed and I had to work real hard to undo it. Also i wish they would have a talk with the guy at the door, as not to be eating his pizza with his bare hands as he wanted to check ID and put a wrist band on me!

This venue is amazing! It quickly became my favorite place to go. It’s HUGE! Parking is good. There are 3 lots in the immediate area and is FREE. The bathrooms are clean and accommodating. Sound and light systems are on point. The food is delicious. I like the nachos the most, They actually layer everything. Great selection at the bar too. The first night i went i ordered a Godfather but they didn’t have amaretto then the next time the bartender showed me that they got it. Later Jim(the owner) told me he got it for me, that’s awesome! They have a wide selection of events ranging from live shows, dance nights, social meetings for like minded individuals ;-) and their Kink Night outshines the ones in Providence, mostly because there is no drama at The Manchester 65. Become a regular here, it’s worth it.

Great spot for live music & more. Accommodating staff & great beer selections! Bar menu was limited but the pizza was good. The bathrooms are huge so you don’t have long lines of typical clubs. Be back very soon.

Love this place. Great place to see a show. Nice sheltered outdoor area as well. Bar is well stocked with reasonable prices. Staff was great as well.

I went there and noticed a guy named Chris Gagne putting on a show. He took a donation for a good cause in the past from us and used it for his own gain.

This place is a degenerate poophole that should be condemned. Filth laden with horrible acoustics, little parking and terrible«bouncers”/staff. Stay away, far away.

My experience at Manchester 65 wasn’t very nice. I went to the«Afroman bbq», paying $ 10 a piece to sit outside with a couple of confused people. The«BBQ» consisted of store bought burgers and hot dogs THATWEHADTOPAYFOR!!! — we couldn’t believe it. I am not sure if Afroman ever even showed. two hours into the event we left, because we would rather sit INSILENCE anywhere but this horrible place. The worst part was the owners were right next to us eating and drinking as if their event wasn’t strange and awful and the biggest RIP-OFF ever. It’s hard to ruin an «afroman bbq» but these guys managed to go above and beyond at f*king up something that could have been so simply and cool. way to go.

So nice to see this venue come back to life. Situated a bit off the main road near mill complexes, it was easy to find thanks to plenty of parking staff and security attendants. Once inside this huge space gave an industrial loft feel. The crowd ranges in age but the staff was amazing — from the folks working the door to the awesome Bettie behind the bar. Good vibes all around, I enjoyed a few live shows(props for local opening acts!) and a cold beer or two before heading home. Would return again for some live acts and the fun environment.

This is for Robby Krieger on 23 August 2013. Ok the good. This is cool dive kind of place located in an old factory. It is very clubby. They have a nice stage and lots of bars(no tangueray though). This is my favorite way to see bands and I would recommend it. Now the bad, there is very little parking. I arrived way ahead of the show and all the lots(which are dark weed filled and unmonitored) were already full and there were only about 50 – 60 people there at that point. The police were making people move away from all the houses and I don’t where people parked. I managed to tuck my motorcycle in a hidden weed filled corner of the lot. The the worst. The sound quality was terrible. one the engineer couldn’t keep his mics working and the band was having to swap them around and the mix was terrible. Some vocals you couldn’t hear at all, some guitar were just totally lost in the HUGE bass blasts coming out of the PA. That said, it seems to be a venue with some potential despite it’s weird location. I would check it out and see if they can improve the sound and parking situation. They don’t have a box office so you just check in with the door and they have a list for will call. Also, they scheduled two opening acts and it took the engineer so long to set up each band(never seen that) that they were way late with the show. Maybe the owners will learn how to run a club and get a better engineer in the near future.

I have been to hundreds of concerts and I agree with one of the previous posts. This was the worst venue and worst experience I have ever had as a show. Candlebox seemed disgusted to play there but made the best of it and put on a good show once Frank Hyde showed up with a real sound system. As stated before the article I read said parking for 200, 40 craft beers on tap, etc. But there was no parking, no street lights, the worst beer selection I have ever seen never mind the fact that they are charging $ 4 for Bud light in a West Warwick dive bar. I don’t see myself ever returning unless there is a band there that I cannot go without seeing.

I went to their first night open, to see The Slackers. The only reason I’m not giving it 1 star is that I’m hoping that my bad experience was just because they haven’t worked out all the kinks yet(and there were a LOT of them). The sound was terrible, but that’s expected when you’re dealing with a brick and concrete warehouse. The whole vibe of the place was really weird. There was a small plywood stage on one end, similar to Firehouse 13’s, and two rather nice looking bars in the back, with 8 flat screen TVs suspended from the ceiling, and nothing else. there were a couple chairs and tables, but the second room was pretty much empty. half of the floor was painted, and the other half was just exposed concrete, like they ran out of paint. It’s like they dumped all their money into the TVs and bar, and ran out of money to do anything else. At the bar, the cheapest beer was $ 3 for a Rolling Rock. Not the worst price ever, but an hour into the show, they jacked the price up to $ 4 with no explanation. Don’t get me wrong, I truly love dive-y little rock clubs, and maybe a year from now this place will get it together and become a really cool little venue, but they have a LOT of work to do before I go there again.
