I brought my truck in for a tune up, they didn’t call me after hours so I called to check in. They snapped a spark plug pulling it out of my truck and had to repair it, they also informed me they only made it up to spark plug 5 and will not be continuing because it was not worth their time. I would NEVER have brought my vehicle to such a hack shop if k knew this was going to happen. When I asked for details on what was even done to my truck these hack «mechanics» (mechanic used lightly) couldn’t even tell me exactly what they did. Seriously? You don’t even document the work you perform just a itemized bill? I will be sure to contact the corporate office and if I don’t hear back I will pass this on to the better business bureau.

I have always gone to the same place to get my oil changed, but I had a coupon so I thought I would try Pep Boys. While I was there I decided to inquire about snow tires as well. As soon as I walked in Ryan greeted me. He took the time to talk with me about different types of snow tires and even checked out all the tires on my current car. He was friendly, honest, and knowledgable. My oil change was also super fast. It felt like it took less than 10 minutes. When checking out, Michael offered to walk me out to the car to ensure that complimentary windshield wiper fluid was added because I was worried I was low. Best customer service I’ve seen in a while. Will be recommending this location to all my friends.

Prepare to sit around for a long time, even if you make an appointment. There is a lot of walking around by employees and not much working on cars. I wouldn’t be so aggravated if I couldn’t SEE the cars in the bay not being worked on! So 3 ½ hours to do what they said would take 1 hour. The only redeeming quality is that the staff is very polite and friendly.

Honestly, I used to come here and get all my things for my car, after market upgrade head and tail lights. Interior options and for oil changes. After coming here to find new bulbs, I will never come back. Stood for 15 mins as people walked by my puzzled look. Didn’t want to bother them since they didn’t even say excuse me or acknowledge me. Was trying to get new bulbs for my headlights and needed some help being advised which to get. Woman with red hair almost ran right into me with cleaning supplies and scoffed. No one said hello when I walked in or goodbye when I left. All speaking to each other. Will go next door to sound FX for all my needs.

I’ve taken my car to these guys for years, they always do a great job, very friendly and quick service.

Do not go here even if ur car is on fire and they are standing outside with a hose. They over charge for the problems they cause! My mom went in cuz her window wasn’t working 800 later and she has tape on her window because now it won’t even go up !

I went by for an oil change at 6:30 p.m. when they were wrapping things up. The staff took me in with no issue and were extremely friendly. I was with my two young children and they completed the oil change quickly and gave me a $ 20 off coupon because I couldn’t get my coupon to load. I was very happy with the service and I’ll definitely be back! Ryan helped me and he and another male employee were amazing about getting me a great coupon!

I advise you people not to go to pep boys Warwick !!! Their management sucks and they drop the ball on you when they did the damage and won’t take responsibility of it.
Well, I have gone for oil change and left rear coil spring replacement, they drove inside their garage, after the work they told me the key got struck in ignition. Fun part of it is, they told its not their responsibility and I have take it to a dealer to fix it.
Added to that, they behaved in a harsh manner when I addressed them to fix it. It is one of the worst customer service store in entire U.S.

I don’t understand some of the bad reviews went to get a oil change and they did the job and they were honest but they did push a air filter and wipers but i guess that’s part of the job but DEFINITELY still returning!!!

Went to pep boys today to buy new car seat covers. The last time I went was 2 years ago for the same product and I said I would never go back due to the unacceptable service I received. I went Today and received the same type of service. No service at all! Not one sales associate asked me if I needed any help. I previously went to two other stores and looked for seat covers and was unable to find what I wanted So I reluctantly went here and had questions but all the sales people were are the front of the store not on the floor. Customer service is lacking. I did purchase seat covers but next time I am going elsewhere. How can I help you goes a long way.

Got an oil change here, it was a little pricey but totally worth it. Only took them about 10 minutes to complete. Nice crew and great service

The Pep Boys were great! I hit a pot hole and got a flat tire. My rim was bent and they didn’t have one in stock. They put on my spare and did not charge me. Jose and Rob explained what I needed to do once I got home (which was 80 miles away)
They couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you Jose and Rob!

Louie and Laurie gave us exceptional, fast service when we came in with a dysfunctional Jeep taillight. Even though we just walked in without an appointment, they helped us, gave expertise and advice, and had us up and running in 20 minutes. Thank you to a great service team!

Just got the best service I’ve ever had with my car in a Pep Boys. Blew a tire on a screw on the highway and these guys just changed it out in 30mins. Plus they when the extra mile calling two other pep boys to get me the best deal on tires. Thanks Robert! You’re awesome!

I’m very happy with the service at this Pep Boys.
The crew are all very friendly and accommodating. I recently took my car in to get 2 new tires which were put on in a very reasonable amount of time for a very reasonable price! No one tried to up-​sell me on tires that I didn’t want, and I didn’t feel taken advantage of like at most auto shops. The only thing that I will say is that they weren’t as knowledgeable as I would have hoped. I asked for the new tires to be put on the front (as my car is front wheel drive) and they told me they always put new tires on the back. I asked a mechanic friend who told me they obviously have no idea what they are talking about… oh well.

BOBBY & crew here are very nice, and on a Sunday morning when I woke up to a flat on my Benz, and then while trying to remove the corroded cap I snapped the valve stem off. I thought I would need a new to tpm sensor which they had in stock awesome… ($ 179 for sensor) but they were able to replace just the valve stem and fix my flat. So instead of dropping $ 230, I only spent $ 49.00 add I managed to pick up 2 screws in one tire…

I came up to RI from DE for a day and a half to see family. We just happened to get a flat tire (which we couldn’t replace ourselves because the lugnuts had been put on too tightly) and BARELY made it to pep boys but we figured this place was reliable and standardized so we’d most likely get in, get out and get good service. Well, an hour after checking in we went to the front desk to see why they hadn’t taken our car back, we were told we were next in line. A half hour after that they take the car back and soon after tell us they don’t know why it’s flat. We tell them to just replace the front two tires anyways. Long story short, we’ve been sitting here for over 3 hours and still have not been checked on or apologized to for the wait. To add insult to injury, people who came in after us were serviced before us, and we’ve been the only people in the waiting room for two hours. I understand there may be other cars being serviced whose owners are not here, but 3+ hours to replace two tires!!!
Worst costumer service I’ve ever seen! If you can avoid coming here, please do. It’s not worth it. By the time I finished writing this it’s officially been 3 hours and 45 minutes and we JUST walked out. I will never go to a pep boys again

Make sure you read your repair order and alignment report before you leave. They had my car for 8 ½ hours to change two tires. They charged me for an alignment and when I read the report it showed that they didn’t actually adjust/​align anything. Needless to say, I called them back Monday morning to complain and without even arguing they said it was a simple mistake and to come back in and they would refund me the $ 84.99 I paid for the alignment. Apparently they were counting in the fact that since I’m a woman I wouldn’t know any better or how to read the report. Shame on Pep Boys for trying to rip people off.

Justin took care of me and my car! I happen to have a 2008 GXP G6 Pontiac, I stopped in to have them check the battery as I was having issues with starting and electrical lights and it was both the battery and starter. Apparently parts for my car aren’t easy to find anymore– so it took a lot longer than expected, but — I have to say I was happy with the service and attention to my needs. I don’t think they are sexist, I have experienced this before, I think they are earnest and hard working.

I just dont know about this store. I had an oil change and new wipers put on. After paying I got in my car, all seemed fine. But, there was a turd on the passenger side floor. It looked human in origin. I couldnt even bring myself to bring it back to see who left it and why. I just drove the car out to the beach, got out and let it roll into the sea.
