The store was nice but they hired Oscar the Grouch to cashier. He refused to look at the customers directly and practically flung the receipt at me, lol.

We stopped by here twice during our Yellowstone trip. It got the job done. They were well-stocked, and it was fairly quick to get in and out. Prices were pretty high for a grocery store. But I think that is a function more of the location(West Yellowstone) and time of year(June) than anything. Produce was limited. Bananas looked a bit brown and spotted. But packaged goods of course were plentiful. One day we picked up some of their wrapped deli sandwiches for an easy picnic lunch. They worked out just fine.(if you want fancier sandwiches for a packed lunch, try the Woodside Bakery; But the deli here at Market Place was less expensive and quicker in a pinch).

Has most anything you might want. As another reviewer said, deli section was a bit weak, but their«wrap» sandwiches looked good. They don’t take DISCOVER, only Visa and M/C. I thought their produce section was a bit weak… Prices are a bit high, but this is a small resort town out in the middle of nowhere… This is a small resort town. FORGET about trying to park an RV. I walked here from a nearby RV park.

My advice to anyone staying in this area is to stop and buy groceries before u get here! The prices in this store are outrageous! I get small towns having higher prices but the prices in here are over the top… not to mention the selection is not great. It’d be hard to buy healthy food in here… It’s small and well stocked but generic brands and mainstream brands which makes getting healthy food impossible here. You’d be better off eating out for these prices… Update. Went in here tonight a few minutes before 9pm. I said sorry to a couple guys who were picking up rugs outside the door. They said no problem and were friendly. Once I got in the door a woman very rudely said«you have 1 minute!» In hindsight I should have walked back out. How incredibly rude! Not to mention there were at least five other people in the store. We will not return and will do our shopping at the other grocery store in town the rest of our stay and all future stays.

This seems be the largest market in this small, touristy town. It is well stocked with canned goods, frozen foods, fresh fruits and vegetables, snacks, beverages, even has lots of prepared deli foods. I was quite impressed with the variety and well organized appearance. Nice to know it is here if you need something while vacationing.

A great place to buy supplies. The place is a little crowded but it has almost everything even freeze-dried food.

My parents stopped by this place the other day and piked up ribs for a BBQ. When they opened the package the meat was off, smelled off. They went back to the store only to be greeted by the manager that did not acknowledge the meet was off. However, they did get a refund.

So you are in West Yellowstone and need some food supplies, this little store has it all. Their shelves are packed with everything you could want or need while staying here. We bought our supplies daily and would BBQ back at our campsite, it was perfect and we didn’t need to have to worry about refrigeration. Extra bonus is that I found hand rolled Amish butter here. ITISFABULOUS and I bought like 6 of them to take home with me, they are now in my freezer and will be slowly brought out as needed. The staff here is very nice and helpful and they have a nice liquor selection here.

A good little market in a small town with a deli and a good wine selection priced fairly. You can get all your provisions there.

We stayed at the Explorer Cabins during our stay in West Yellowstone. We loaded up with groceries from Market Place and made breakfast in our cabin and sandwiches while in the Park. We didn’t have to brave the crowds or need to stop our sightseeing just to find a lunch place. Market Place had everything we needed. We even made a quick udon meal in our cabin one night! Market Place is open from 6 – 11 every day.

As a tourist planning on cooking«reminds-me-of-home» meals and packing relatively healthy snacks to avoid paying restaurant food while in YNP, this place had everything I needed! BELAZY — PREPAREDFOOD Face it – you’re most likely wanting prepared food to eat at the park and what’s better than sandwiches? Although you’re limited to a handful of choices, we enjoyed items such as the Pastrami Sandwich, Breakfast Burritos, and BBQ Wings to change things up. WHATABOUTHOMECOOKING? All the basics from a regular chain supermarket were present: liquor, produce, deli, frozen meals, and toiletries except a bakery. Each aisle was probably only 20 feet long but were crammed with everything I needed to make Chicken Stir-Fry, Breakfast staples, and fruit for the road. Due to its size, everything was easy to navigate and I found the prices to be comparable to my home market in Florida. ANDTHENSOME Local items! Like most touristy places around YNP, there seems to be the obligatory Huckleberry display. I also found(and highly enjoyed) a Wilcoxson’s Huckleberry Ice Cream Sandwich. A tiny barrel in the beer area was filled with single bottles of local brews – I definitely took some to try. There’s even a small area near the entrance to rent DVD’s– and the DVD’s are all displayed facing out against the wall! WOW that seemed so old school. Heehee back in the days…

The service was amazing. Twice in a 5 day period I showed up just as the staff was closing the store. Not only did they unlock the door to let me in but also showed me what was where! On other days when I asked for help, someone would walk me over to the exact location. Another pleasant surprise, given the town it’s located in and the size of the store, was the number of choices of any item. Of course, the quantities were limited but that’s to be expected. The deli served better than average sandwiches and a surprise was that it had some great chops. We expected a «tourist trap» and instead found a place that could teach others about quality and service. Not to mention that the prices were lower than what we expected. All in all, a great store.

We came here 3 times during our stay in town. It is just a little market. The selection in their deli area did not seem like much(and really there were not many choices). Surprisingly, though, it was pretty good. We’d buy sandwiches here, and eat them later in the day while exploring Yellowstone. I cannot recall the exact sandwiches that we had. Also tried some of their breakfast burritos. They tasted okay. Just enough to give us energy to start the day’s adventure. Also, the fresh donuts were yummy. Sadly, the food we had here was the best we had during our stay at West Yellowstone, MT. The two restaurants we ate at during our stay were both disappointments. Guess that’s one of the reasons that I am a fan of the Market Place. I browsed around and their prices are quite higher than what I’m used to paying at our hometown grocery stores. Of course, that should be expected because this is a tourist town. The service wasn’t very friendly, but they were not rude either. The absolute best thing that we had at the Market Place was ice cream. The state of Montana really seems to promote their huckleberries. I saw all kinds of food with huckleberries in it during our Yellowstone vacation. The Huckleberry flavored ice cream was the bomb! Drop by their freezer section and pick up a pint of Wilcoxson Huckleberry Ice Cream! I’m craving for it right now as I write! It was just so good! Wish I could have some right now!

Their deli section is a-ok. The produce section isn’t half bad. It was funny to see Dole Lettuce for $ 1.99 from my hometown of Salinas, CA. Anyhoo… we found just about all that we needed for our condo. However… the Food Roundup Supermarket had cheaper prices– especially on beer. Like $ 3.00 a six pack cheaper, for the same brands!
