The service they provide transporting Catholic University of America girls softball team is an absolute disgrace. I’ve never seen such incompetent drivers who can’t use simple GPS mapping tools to get the team to their destinations. The buses are ALWAYS late, sometimes up to 3 hours. CUA needs to dump this bus company because they’re certainly not getting what they have paid for. A 3 hour trip to Susquehanna university took 5 hours because the driver thought the way to get there was up interstate 81 from Washington DC. If I could leave zero stars I would. R Hulette

what can you say about a Bus line? I guess thats why I’m the only review here… I take this bus every day to work, and have been doing so for almost 3 years now. I’ve never had a major problem and Academy kinda gets kudos for hitting the road when they seriously have no business being out there; snowstorms, hurricane winds, you name it, they go. It takes a pretty big event to slow them down. The buses are moderately comfortable, but you never know what youre going to get in terms of temperature, smell(some have bathrooms), or other little things. Where they lose points, at least from where I take the bus, is the people. It is a charter bus, and its usually VERY quiet and dark so people can sleep, but I have some of the most ignorant, rude people that frequent my route. Not exactly academys fault I supposed, but it does take away from the experience. Other than that, I wouldn’t call them CHEAP,(a one-way from where I stay to NY is $ 20, so round trip is $ 40) but they’re slightly cheaper and a hell of a lot more convenient than the train. Another sore spot is the hours. Especially on weekends, you have 2, MAYBE3 options when you can travel, and if you miss one, youre either waiting a LONG time, or completely S.O.L. Still, Id recommend Academy ANY day over the train as its more personal, feels safer and is more convenient.
