Checked out Arturo’s for the first time this week and really enjoyed it. We held a going away party for my boss here and they were very accommodating over the phone helping us reserve the proper amount of space even though the number in our party kept changing. The restaurant itself doesn’t look like anything great from the outside(its in a strip mall) but inside it’s very nicely decorated and has a lovely ambiance. Service was pretty good, the waitress could have been a bit more attentive but given it was a large group I know that can be tough. Food was decent, I am spoiled because I live in Boston and have access to all the delicious Italian food my heart desires down the road in the North End. Compared to some of that fare I would say Arturo’s is just okay(the pasta in the dish I had could have been better) but knowing the selection of places in the Westborough area this is probably one of the better spots you could dine. Overall it was an enjoyable evening and if I was ever looking to dine out in this area again I would consider Arturo’s to be a good option.

Absolutely delicious. Eggplant rollatini just melts in your mouth. The chicken, broccoli, penne is so buttery and rich. Good Italian spot!

Had a going away party for my boss here and it lived up to the hype. He is a regular and wanted to do it at his favorite spot. The food, drinks and service were all fantastic. Wait staff was very friendly and the whole place had great vibes. I got the chicken parm which was phenomenal. Everyone loved the food and had a great night.

Short answer, food is good service is not. Long answer, we were promptly seated and that’s the last time anything happened in a reasonable amount of time. I don’t mind waiting for food to cook, especially when it’s fresh but our server was definitely several beats behind and it was just silly stuff like she dropped off our bread and said she’d get the oil but then immediately took the order of a large party behind us so we just sat there for a very long time staring at the bread basket. Getting the check took forever and when we did finally get it, she saw I had my card but left instead of taking it. It was like that about everything. She was so overwhelmed I’m not sure she even noticed. I can appreciate that it’s not her fault but it did make a difference. The owner or host walked up and down our aisle several times and I really wanted to see him jump in and help the servers out more. I really liked our food though and the portions were not gigantic which I like. I’d go again but do takeout instead.

This review is based solely on the world’s best Chicken Parmesan I had the other day. My fiancé and I came here for the first time. No wonder it was so busy at lunchtime on a Monday! He got the Bolognese and said it was excellent,(I don’t like meat sauce so I didn’t try it), but he tried my Chicken Parm and couldn’t believe how perfect it was. There’s no need for me to try anything else here. The Chicken Parm was cooked perfect and moist with a light and crisp coating that made it feel like you were actually eating healthy. The linguini was the best I’ve ever had! I can’t explain how fresh it tasted. We will be back very soon for chicken! Great atmosphere as well.

Our party of seven was promptly seated. We made a reservation through the website ‘Open table’. The appetizers were average and overpriced: meatballs, fried calamari and bruschetta. The $ 24 pasta Di Napoli had a generous portion of fresh seafood. Nevertheless, the pappardelle pasta were overcooked. The cream sauce was overly sweet. One of the specials of the day was the black risotto with big shrimps, scallops and ricotta. It was fine. S. stated the filet mignon(special of the day) was overcooked. Nevertheless, the asparagus were cooked to perfection. S. enjoyed his two martinis. The décor was modern, clean and bright. The bathrooms were clean with a changing table for babies. The service was efficient and friendly. It was easy and free to park on their private parking lot.

We only came here because where we planned to go was closed and this was the only other restaurant in the plaza. The food was pretty good and the décor was lovely but the service was slow and I don’t feel it was worth the price we paid.

Love the pizzas! The whole family does. I enjoy Weds night happy hour w my GF too amazing martinis and inexpensive apps that are high quality! The meatball app and tomato mozzarella are my fave! They have takeout too, when the dining room is too packed.

Went back the other day… Did they change ownership or manager??? Barely any customers but super slow. Took them 20 minutes to bring us water. Another 20 minutes to take our orders. The worst part: The waitress gave us an attitude. Veal piccata … One piece of meat was veal the other one was chicken… Anyways. There are so many options, will not go back after this extremely poor experience. Let me know if things have improved!

This review is based on about 25 visits over the past 3 years. Overall my wife and I eat out probably 50 times/year and tend to try a lot of places with more frequent visits to favored spots. If I could give partial stars I would give Arturo’s a 4.9 but only b/c perfection is nearly impossible. My favorite in town restaurant and one of my all time favorites Food The owner Is the head chef and the food is really good. The pasta dishes are not super heavy and are what you would expect from a quality Italian restaurant. I usually get one of the specials. The tenderloin which is always offered as a special is always consistent and properly cooked with nice sides. The quality is equal to high end restaurants who only serve or focus on steaks. Great happy hour menus and apps are 6 bucks during HH. Pizzas are great as a shared app, meal or for takeout Service Truly spectacular. The 3 primary bartenders(where my wife and I usually eat) who work he busy shifts know the menu well and are pleasant and very attentive. I would rate this threesome off the chart 6 stars! When the dinner rush slows down the chef /owner often comes out into the restaurant to thank visitors ask how things are etc… Décor /setting I am being a bit nick picky but the only non positive thing I can say is that from the curb you wouldn’t look at the front of the restarant and guess how good it is. The restaraunt sits in an old strip mall. The recent makeover of the stoorfront has improved the look though. Once you walk in you see a very nice space, well decorated and and open style kitchen. Bar area is big with lots of high tops. May have to wait a few minutes for a bar spot on Fridays and Saturdays. There is a nice enclosed function room for beer and wine tasting and private functions

My first time here was great. My mother and I came here for an early dinner last week. How amazing is it that they have a happy hour menu from 3−6pm?! The bartender was sweet. My mother told her we might have to cash out pretty quickly, as we had plans right after dinner. The bartender kept checking in to make sure we were all set with time. We split a bottle of wine, and a pizza. The pizza was amazing, with fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil. The crust was nice a crispy, and tasted like it came from a brick oven. Since I’ll be moving to the area soon, I can’t wait to try more things on the menu.

Hadn’t been to Arturo’s in a while, so I made reservations on a Friday night. Things didn’t start out right, when the hostess wanted to seat us at the end table nearest the kitchen and bathroom. That spot is the worst/busiest table, so she ended up seating us a few tables over. Unfortunately, I’ve seen for a while that the service is hit or miss. I was surprised that our waitress was totally thrown off when my wife asked if she could do a chicken parm /eggplant parm combo. It seemed to be the first time someone had ever asked. Really? She came back to say the kitchen couldn’t(=‘s wouldn’t) split a chicken parm. So they’d add 2 splices of eggplant parm for $ 4. Sure — whatever. The chicken parm ended up to be much smaller than normal, but we let it go. I had my go-to dish of Pasta di Napoli. The seafood was good, but the pasta on top was dried out — like it sat under a heating lamp. Unfortunately, she forgot to place our salad order — later saying it was due to being sidetracked by the parm combo request. The tables are wayyy too close and the restaurant still needs some kind of noise reduction work done. Overall, it was a disappointing visit — but I hope this was a fluke experience. We still like Arturo’s and will be back.

Great food and staff. A pleasant surprise when just walking in off the street. I was there in a very busy night and ate at the bar. The lady and young man behind bar treated me well and everyone there seemed friendly. Highly recommend the squash stuffed tortellini. Great pre marathon face stuffing! I’d recommend to anyone.

I went here for the first time last night and it was incredible! The service was awesome… very attentive staff! Bruschetta was great and the mushroom risotto was delicious. For dessert I had the espresso martini and without asking a dish of lemon sorbet was left for us. It was so great we are going again tonight for the pizza!

After visiting Arturo’s for the first time back in September 2014 I was sure we would never be back not because the food wasn’t good but because of the service but very soon after I posted my review I was contacted by the owner who was very concerned about our experience. Several days had gone by and few exchanges were made and I decided to make another trip as the owner made me feel as though we mattered. This time we not only enjoyed the food we LOVED our service. The food was delicious as it was the first time! Our waiter was young but he really knew his stuff and made us feel as though we were the only party he was serving. Arturo’s is quite a ways from us but we will certainly be back and ensure we visit anytime we are in the area. Thank you to the staff and owner for putting your customers and their experience first!!!

Arturo’s Ristorante — Westborough, MA — 3÷12÷2015 It’s a very busy family style Italian restaurant. An interesting décor consisting of a mix of booths and tables with an open kitchen design where you can see the chefs crafting tonights delicacies. I was seated at a booth. Truth be told, next time I would request a table as I don’t find booths very comfortable… My server Alyshia was awesome although I did have to ask for bread… Slightly warm accompanied by olive oil and parmesan… The bread was OK… Once you have bread from Arthur Avenue in the Bronx it kinda sets the bar higher than most other restaurants can reach. I don’t know if I have become a food snob but whats up with butter packets anyway? A small dish of whipped butter with a garnish is so simple and makes such a splash… This evenings Arturo signature zuppa was an Egg-drop soup with spinach and chicken sprinkled with parmesan cheese and just a hint of freshly ground black pepper. I would have never thought to make such a combination but it was really quite good. Almost like an Italian wedding soup in a way… They are extremely accommodating and indulged me with putting together a salad of mixed greens, peperoncini peppers, roasted red peppers, carrots and tomatoes. All this topped with gorgonzola and croutons bathed in a perfect house made olive oil vinaigrette! For the main tonight I figured I would break tradition from my traditional fare and go with the house made savory beef meatballs in a marinara sauce over spaghetti… Rich in flavour, well plated and ornately decorated with fresh basil. Their marinara is really something special and although they don’t make the spaghetti in house, it was cooked to perfection! I was going to skip dessert until I heard Alyshia say something about a white and dark chocolate mousse… There are certain things in life one does not pass up… Finish it off with my signature cappuccino and another great dining experience was had. The restaurant appears very well run and everybody is happy. They all work together here and no one walks by your table without a smile or acknowledgment should you make eye contact between bites. I loved it and so will you! Make sure to ask to be seated in Alyshia’s section…
