Excellent flavors. We had Uttapam and fish curry Nice ambiance Only feedback is to do better job cleaning restrooms. We arrived at 5pm just opening for afternoon and restrooms were not in good condition Will come back!

This is my wife’s fav weekend joint. She loves their buffet menu. The star attraction is their Jalebi’s. Not very spicy for avg indian. They mix it well with mango custard and halwa. The biryani tastes diff on occasions. The take aways always taste better than buffet. This branch also excels.

Mayuri is hands down the best place to get Indian cuisine in the Metrowest. I love my food super spicy and they never disappoint! My favorites are the chicken vindaloo and the allo gobi. The service is always excellent and the waiters are very friendly. This is also a great place to get take out. I went to pick up my order and it was still cooking and one of the waiters offered me a drink while I waited for my order. This restaurant has great food, but even better people.

Maybe we came on an off-night … but I rate this a solid 3 star. My dining companion would have said 1 or 2 star. I am going with my star-rating because my food was fine. Her food was not. She ordered the Tandoori Chicken which came dry and chewy. I tried a piece and have to say that it really was inedible. It didn’t have the ‘red’ layer and it was so dry that it was hard to get a fork into. I am just starting to get into Indian food, so I don’t know too much about it. I ordered the plate that came with multiple options(almost like an Indian Pu Pu Platter) which allowed me to try a little bit of everything. My food was fantastic. I am a big fan of spice … so I didn’t mind the fact that this place is very heavy handed(authentic to India) with the spices. They will tone down the heat if you ask them … but I always get it regular. Because my dining companion’s Tandoori Chicken was so bad, we ordered another entrée(the original uneaten Tandoori was not take off the bill, nor did we ask it to be) … which was a dark meat chicken curry in a spicy yellow sauce. It came in a copper pot and was served with rice. This dish was beyond spicy! Which I liked, but it did make my eyes water and I drank 5 glasses of water. My ‘pu pu platter’ was fantastic. It has 2 vegetarian items with potatoes, a chicken curry, a goat dish and even came with dessert. I was not given chutney with the meal and had to ask for it … not a big deal but would be nice if it was offered. I will say that out of all the Indian places in Central Massachusetts … this seems to be the most extensive menu. The restaurant itself seemed a bit worn out. It looked like it might have been around since the 1990s and not have been updated since. It didn’t seem dirty but it didn’t seem clean. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, but it just doesn’t have a warm/inviting atmosphere. The furniture seems kind of cheap and shoddy. Our waitress was capable. Didn’t seem to have a great command of the language but she did the job and filled up the waters right on time.(key for the spice level) Maybe I will come back sometime and try the buffet. If spice is your thing, this place is for you! I would rank it toward the bottom of the other Indian restaurants in the area … but maybe a bit more authentic in terms of the tastes. The food tasted a bit ‘cheaper’ though, if that makes sense.

Been there few times especially lunch and food is okay. It is more Americanized Indian food which is common all over US(except in few restaurants). Biryani is okay, pieces are bland and not much of flavor in it like rice. Curries/Appetizers are good especially on lunch buffet, dinner was not good may be because of timing. Cost wise it is cheapest of all Indian restaurants around this area which is major plus point for this place. Gets crowded on lunch times, prefer this place for quick buffet take away as it has lot of options.

If you are living in the Boston area, this is the best place to eat spicy vegetable dum ka biryani. The rice, vegetables and Indian spices are slow cooked and steamed together. They are served with a delicious vegetable curry. Most places that claim to serve vegetable dum ka biryani are actually serving vegetable pulao. This place is truly authentic!

I went here to order take out and I was not disappointed. Extra credit to the restaurant for taking my order at 10 pm though they close at this time. The food was excellent. Their indian style chicken chilli is a treat for those who like hot and spicy food since it is cooked with real chillies and not with capsicums. Their biryani was delicious and so was the andhra chicken. I didn’t like their sweet corn soup though. I’ll avoid that if I go here in future. Everything else was really tasty. They had enough space for seating and the aromas would make mouths water :) Would definitely go here again

Food was good but is expensive. They charge for pickle, chutney and fortunately not water. Ambience is ok they need to learn how to greet with smile and not rush when restaurant is about to close. I want to give 3 star but giving 2 because of food is not that special to be extra expensive.

I like Mayuri’s Dum Goat Biryani. One of the best currently available in Boston and surrounding area. Good quality and proportions. Plenty of tender pieces of goat meat chunks(sometimes with bone which I like). They don’t overwhelm the biryani with random masalas. I have also tried both Chicken and Goat roast. I had a different expectation when I ordered the dishes because I have had different kind of roast throughout my life. They dishes are mostly small pieces of chicken and mutton, thoroughly cooked and very flavorful. Both of them go very well with nun bread. And their nun breads are of good quality too. The vegeterian platter that I have ordered did not meet my expectation. The potato cutlet lacked flavor. The Mirchi fry had too much batter in it. will not order it again. I will visit the place again only for the«goat» biryani. Till they maintain the quality.

I enjoy Mayuri very much. I drive about thirty-five minutes to get the buffet. The variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian entrees is impressive. The host, Mr. Methani, is very pleasant and attentive. At today’s buffet(01÷07÷16), I had an outstanding palak paneer, a spiced yellow jasmine rice dish and onion naan. To coin a phrase from the Southern USA, «the chef put his foot in it.» All three parts of the meal were exceptional. They were spiced wonderfully and had just enough heat to make them even more enjoyable. Now that I have discovered this entrée, I will go back to Mayuri to order palak paneer, yellow rice and onion naan again… frequentlly.

The first look at the restaurant was like good ambience and lot of food. However as you keep going on trying each item of buffet its a depressing and disappointment that I regretted of landing at this place for Lunch Buffet. Spoiled chicken Biryani and Stinking goat Biryani. There is no doubt there are lot of Varieties of food, both Non/Veg but its always wise and modest to have freshly made and less variety vs too many to pick from and end up eating spoilt thats most popular. Don’t recommend going here for any part of the day just because the management don’t care about their patrons well being because when I complained about spoil biryani they really didn’t care and they just let that biryani on the stand

I have been to Mayuri couple of times for the buffet. The last time i remember driving down to Mayuri with a group of 15 friends for their buffet. The items are definitely a lot and the first thing i noticed was my vegetarian friends were quite happy with the huge display of vegetarian dishes for the buffet(definitely a rarity in indian buffets) and is priced on the descent side too. The food was good. Considering my previous experience i tried their buffet recently on a weekday. It was decently crowded but the spice level was a bit dis-appointing. Most of the items on their buffet was mild. The desert was really good. I had the kheer and carrot halwa. Also the dosa was pretty good. I am yet to order food outside their buffet and may be i can ask for it to be a bit spicy. The place is good for groups and team lunches.

I think there are many Mayuri Indian restaurant name because it’s a common name. BUT they are all very good and always look the same. It’s funny. The buffet is awesome and there are many choices of dessert. I cannot complain because lunch is like dinner.

So the restaurant did not live upto the expectations I had with the fragrance it projected in the parking lot. I ordered hyderabadi dum biryani and even though it was good, it was not a dum biryani per se. Additionally, the service was a little dissappointing as one of my friend requested for a custom made buttermilk and was refused flatly on the face. We found it rude. The overall food taste is good.

The food is good and the waitstaff friendly, but the service is… frustrating. We didn’t seem to have one person waiting on us so had to ask 3 – 4 people for water, more chutney, and other items. I guess that two of the people who ended up helping us didn’t understand me. We asked for just«milk» for our son and got a glass of cold whole milk — perfect. Asking for a refill got me a lassi, then hot milk, then cold milk. Come here if you don’t mind waiting and possibly getting the order wrong. The food is very tasty.

Wow! Mayuri has the best Chicken Tikka Masala. I love the Lamb Vindaloo, Saag Paneer and samosas too! It’s hard to pick from my favorites when I go! My GF likes mild and they are very good about regulating the spices. I have not tried the buffet, but it looks amazing!!!

Picked up dinner on our way to Boston. Good flavorful saliva oozing food. My cousin who lives in Andover recommended this place and recommended the biryani. We picked two biryanis — chicken and goat both were equally goo dolls. The goat meat was decently flavored and tender. The side gravy which comes with biryani had a nice kick and was tasty. The ginger chicken was not that great, didn’t get much ginger flavor out of it, looks like the ginger used is pretty flat, anyways skip the ginger chicken. Gongura chicken was nice and tasty although personally I felt it lacked the leafy gongura vegetable although my brother felt that was a good thing since he doesn’t like the over tangy taste of gongura. The Indian style chili chicken was okay too. Verdict — a pretty decent Indian place and would go back if I am around the area and in mood for Indian food.
