Brought in a pair of $ 200 boots, the heel had been damaged. Paul charged $ 25 to repair the heel. Well worth it, looks perfect and has held up for at least a year since.

I’ve been here two times for 3 pairs of my favorite boots. He put on new heels. Paul and his giant German Shepherd are Very nice. He made my old boots feel new again. Even though I don’t live near here anymore, I’d still travel to have him do my repairs.

Paul is great! He does everything from basic polishes to building up shoes (instead of buying expensive orthotics) and even has creative ideas for zippers, snaps, and other miscellaneous repairs. He does meticulous work and is always pleasant. I used to live in Westbrook and now live in downtown Portland and still drive out there to get my shoes worked on.

Excellent service! Took in my leather boots and an old purse, which both had some serious wear, and he made them look like new! 30 dollars to get a new set of heels on the boots, and to re-​seam the purse. Friendly, reasonably priced, and quality service! Taking all my repair needs here from now on.

Came here to get a zipper fixed on one boot. Charged $ 20 which seemed high but I love these boots so I said ok. When I got them back the work looked a little off, but the zipper did zip/​unzip. Wore them about 2 times, just walking around, and the zipper is the same as before — totally broken! I have moved out of state or I would go back and complain. $ 20 down the drain.

He hid the scuff on my favorite pair of shoes, he did a great job polishing my boots, and he made the soles of my birkenstocks look like new! He honestly appraised another pair of shoes I brought in for repair (there probably wasn’t anything he could do to help them). Plus, he was pretty friendly (but not too friendly).
