Big creep! There is something mentally wrong with this owner! I ordered an egg sandwich and received it before a lady that was there before me. She merely stated that she was there before me and he went into a tirade and told her «I don’t need your business» and threw her out. I casually told him that was unnecessary, at which point he told me «mind my own business and I don’t need your business or your unions business», at which point he threw me out as well. I think this guy needs a psychiatrist and some zanac.
P. S. I am a civil service employee, so to all our brothers and sisters out there… STAY AWAY!

Unfortunately what we lack in my immediate area is delis. I dread going in because I never know what type f mood the owner is going to be in… He is some times nice but must say mostly rude and at times his nice attitude seems so forced… There was a time I got egg sandwich from here it was done in less than a minute and by the condition of it I would put money on it that the eggs were pre fried! They do have a wide spread of hot and cold food along with muffins and bagels coffee is decent.

If there was a negative star I would give that. I called to place a pick up order and was almost brought to tears by the owner because of how nasty he was!!! It’s the only deli nearby so I we dealt with it but that man is vile and he’s a racist. Stay away if you want good service!!!

Very nice local deli. Has been there for years. Food is good, tad pricey. Nice selection to choose from.

Went in on Tuesday to order a wrap platter for 18’people on Saturday and the OWNER said no. Said he had too much going on that day and couldn’t be bothered with it. Been going there for years, used them 4 times for catering in the past year alone, food is eh, but we support our local businesses. I guess they don’t appreciate it so ill be searching for someone else who doesn’t turn down business from here on out. Unbelievable

I really like this deli. Simple mom and pop. They are actually much more friendly and polite than most delis on the island. Never have they messed up an order or been unprofessional.

They have a great selection of deli chips as well. Get the rosemary and olive oil.

Great mom and pop town deli. Boars head and a good selection of salads. Great service and everybody is so Nice. Been to other delis in the area but only go here on a weekly basis. Worth a try for a good sandwich.

Another place not good enough for 1 star.
I’m a vegetarian, and I ordered my husband and I breakfast wraps.
Obviously mine was ordered with no meat, and before I left the store, I had confirmed with the young kid who WROTE the order down that there was no meat. He said. «yep, no meat on the egg white sandwich»
I sunk my teeth into turkey 15 minutes later.
For those of you that aren’t vegetarians, I will explain that it’s an emotional thing, when you eat meat…
I was upset, and completely aggravated at the fact that I was just being told something when this kid wasn’t even really sure.
Not good service… at all.
Every time I drive past this deli, the Huge delivery van is an eye sore in the parking lot. Needless to say, their slogan reads something like… Delivery from manhattan to montauk.
When I called with my complaint I was told they could make fresh sandwich for me, which I thought was great. I asked for delivery. And I was told «no doll, we can’t deliver, were stuck here.». I live in Levittown, so that’s between manhattan and montauk.
I was then told that they can just take the meat off the sandwich! and that he was a vegetarian too! If he was a vegetarian, I doubt he would have ate the sandwich. I’m convinced he was fibbing
Anyhow, my frustration lies with the incompetency of the help. Why would you validate something when you aren’t even sure if it were true? Is that customer service?
I learned my lesson, I’ll check my food before I leave, and just because people have vans that sport outstanding delivery zones, doesn’t mean they really deliver. ???
