Picked up Dinner for myself and the wife. The place was quiet since it was close to closing time. I really dont understand the bad reviews. I got Curried Chicken and Roti, Rice and Peas with Jerk chicken, they only had enough jerk for half a serving, so they added some stewed chicken for me. I think everything tasted really good and the wife also agrees. This is a typical Caribbean food establishment, in a slow area. This is not a busy area in Westbury, and it is not located in a largely Caribbean populated area. Most people around this particular part are latin american, so the place being empty is a reflection of the neighborhood. I would definitely eat at this establishment again. The roti is damn good.

Place is clean and always empty. There’s a reason for that, the food is below average and the service is terrible. The girl at the counter has a massive attitude problem.

The food was decent but the service was absolutely horrible. Nobody wanted to take my order and when somebody finally took it, the woman was very rude and unfriendly.

Placed an order for ackee and saltfish and curry chicken through . Both entrees were flavorless and needed salt. The ackee and saltfish and side of sweet plantains were soaked in grease. The cherry on top was the delivery person, who neglected to bring a pen for me to sign the receipt, cavalierly telling me that I should provide one since I own a home. All in all, bad food and poor service. Shame as Long Island could use a decent Caribbean restaurant.

This place doesn’t get much business and I think I know why. Just came from the place and ordered 3 beef patties and coco bread. All 3 were stale. Take out food sits under steamed trays and none of which look too appetizing. I’m normally apprehensive about where I get my Caribbean food but I did try the stew chicken once and was less than impressed. Needless to say I was kind of disappointed since I was referred by a friend that the food was good. Palatable? Yes, but not including the beef patties. Hopefully things will change for this fairly new restaurant.

This was a truly fun place to visit with my Kiwanis group. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and Sandra really went out of her way to make sure everyone had a good time. There was plenty of seating including some tables(that could easily be put together for a dozen people and multiple booths. Since it was a group function we had the opportunity to sample a few of their menu items: Jerk Chicken: The skin was crispy with an ample amount of Jerk seasoning which was incredibly tasty while not overly spicy. The meat of tender and juicy with a lot of taste. The sides were Rasta Pasta and salad. I am really looking forward to visiting again with a smaller group of friends.
