King George, VA
Disgusting and unhelpful. They close early and lock up the lobby… where the ticket machine is. I never heard of a train station that closes that early. So if you don’t have a ticket on you already, you are screwed. If you are heading North, that side isn’t too bad. But if you are heading South, that side is disgusting: smell of piss in the tunnel and the building, graffiti, and broken windows that haven’t been repaired in years. And if you are pulling into the parking lot on that side (which is a very sketchy-​looking area), good luck if you don’t pass the entrance to it from the street: they only have a tiny sign that shows there is a train station in that direction.
