This store is an Asian market with a focus on Chinese cuisine. It is located in the same strip mall as Subway and Allen’s Health food. Let’s start with the canned foods. Everything from Thai curry paste(I pick up a can almost every time I go here), pickled Chinese veggies, canned coconut milk, water chestnuts, straw mushrooms and tons tons more. Noodles. Every kind of ramen you might crave. From the cheap college student stuff to gourmet soup bowls. My favorite is the Korean ‘Shim’ brand(it’s in black and red packaging. Careful. It’s quite spicy. You can use half the seasoning packet). They have plain ramen, great for adding to your own broths. Buckwheat ramen. Spinach ramen. Yummy! There are also vermicelli, rice, egg, broad and Japanese noodles. Everything to make maki(sushi) rolls. The pickled ginger. The nori(seaweed). Rice wine vinegar. Wasabi. I get my Unagi here(frozen). Even the rolling mat is available here. Won ton skins, spring roll sheets, glutinous rice flour, soup bases, spices, seasoning packets, curry powder, condiments, jasmine rice, jasmine tea, oolong tea, Asian snacks and candies, Asian drinks and medicines all can be found here. In the freezer they have dumplings, baos, meats and desserts. In the refrigerator there are tons of fresh Chinese veggies. Chinese broccoli, white turnips, Japanese eggplant, bok choy, scallions and cilantro, lemon grass to name a few. As for the American veggies they have lemons, peppers, cabbage and more. They also carry cooking utensils, gifts, Cleaning supplies, laundry soap, knickknacks, tea pots, home décor, toiletries, costume jewelry, candies and more. Like I said on the tip page, they get the fresh food deliveries on Thursdays. They get fresh fruits and veggies, baos(Chinese pastries) and cooked meats. The cooked meats include roasted BBQ pork(char sieu), fire roasted pig, and duck. If you don’t see something you want ask them(the permed haired lady speaks English) to order it. Bring in a wrapper for reference or translate the requested item to Chinese(traditional). There’s an app for that. Google translate.
