You got your extra money… You also have an unsatisfied customer… I voiced my opinion here and on FB… I’m sure your customers and future customers will agree with you that you can charge an EXTRA month after they cancel. Just helping your future customers understand your contract before they sign… Which is more then Westerly Fitness did for my wife and I.

At first I was very hesitant about joining a gym. I had looked at the Y(too expensive) and Luxe(overwhelming atmosphere and staff who seemed uninterested in letting me tour the gym). As a last ditch effort I looked into Westerly Fitness and couldn’t be happier with my decision. The gym is clean with great equipment and a variety of live classes. The staff and instructors are always there to answer any questions and help support a healthy lifestyle. I am always greeted with a smile when I walk in and Mike is constantly improving the facilities– a new edition being daycare :) I recently extended my membership another 18 months, as I would never go anywhere else.

many classes have been deleted!!! not the kind of gym for me! zumba and spinning classes are not the classes I desire. and a gym should not be limited to just TOOMANYZUMBAANDSPINNINGCLASSES.. I miss Ripped and bootcamp with tamala. I joined specifically for the classes … now they are gone I changed gyms because another gym’s staff was terribly non social. Westerly does have great front desk staff, but the classes offered aren’t a variety. I’ll be looking for a new gym

Love this gym! I’ve been a member at every gym in Westerly and this is by far the best! They are only $ 24.99 a month which super cheap for everyone. PLUS they have free tanning! FREE! As well as hydromassage. They have a good amount of cardio equipment including treadmills, ellipticals and bikes as well as a rowing machine. They have weight machines which some of them you can do two exercises at one machine which is nice. There are lots of free weights and kettlebells, too! Also, TRX is a great suspension workout thats available as well as yoga equipment and resistance bands. Something that I tried today was a ab workout which I did in the room where they hold bootcamp and zumba classes. It was a fitness on demand projection screen where you can choose which type of workout you wish to follow along to. So if you have a funny work schedule and would like to take a class by yourself or with a buddy, this is perfect for you. No scheduled times! Although you clearly can’t use it while another class is taking place. Only cons of this gym is small parking lot, no daycare and no dressing rooms besides the shower area. So far, all the staff has been overly nice and helpful. They’re given free kettlebell demonstrations and a little TRX demonstration as well. I highly recommend this gym over any other gyms in the area. Get motivated and join!

I’m very excited about this new gym in Westerly. I’ve been a member of the YMCA for years… literally half my life… but their adult prices are a little too spicy for me. The gym looks a little like a warehouse. They have one extremely large room with treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes and a variety of weight lifting equipment.(several TVs to entertain you) Along the back wall they have free weights, TRX equipment, mats, kettle balls etc. They have small locker rooms(just slightly larger than your average bathroom) on the side, a room with a tanning bed, a room with a massage bed, a spin room and a fitness studio. If there isn’t a class going on in the fitness studio, you can do a video class called Fitness on Demand. Pros: 24.99 a month — which includes nearly all classes(except TRX), tanning, water and a massage bed if you sign a year contract(I think it is 34 if you don’t) 1 week free trial — just to make sure you like it TRX — you can use the equipment at any time for free… which is the reason my abs feel like they are bleeding right now. The classes are a reasonable price if you want to learn how to use it. The staff has taught my friends and I a few moves. Great Crowd -. no one who is judgy Nice Staff — every time I walk in the owner strikes up a conversation Growing class schedule. The gym is only about 6 weeks old so they have minimal classes but the list is supposed to grow(fingers crossed) Livestrong bikes — if you like Spin they’ve got the fancy bikes Cons — To be honest this took me a minute… but the only one I can think of is the parking lot is annoying. If that is as bad as it gets… I wouldn’t suggest this gym for kids… they don’t have a day care or anything like that. This is a huge pro for me but I can see how that would be a deal breaker for others. Hope to see you there!(unless you want to steal my treadmill)
