Outstanding hotel located minutes from the ocean. The rooms and the staff were excellent. They have a very good restaurant located right next door to the property. I highly recommend this hotel for long or short term stays.

Had a long weekend here in the two bedroom cottage, Thursday-Sunday…it was a great stay and awesome bang for the buck. The front desk staff is a bit dry but ok. The owner(I’m guessing that or manager) and the cleaning crew is awesome and friendly, they do a great job. There was one major con to this place… beware of the female bartender at skybox that will offer to shuttle you and your group to and from the beach, bars etc. with her son and a gentleman(I use this term loosely) named hoof, for a small fee… Sounds simple and innocent enough until she tries to extort an exorbitant about of money from you and tries to run you down when you have to walk 4 miles home because they weren’t there to give you a ride and then threatens to smash all the windows in your car and slash your tires when you refuse to pay, the police were called and it was quite the scene… I am well traveled worldwide and never have I experienced anything like this. It was almost out of a movie… twilight zone. When I made the hotel aware of this they said sorry… that is all. So all and all nice place and excellent price for what it is. Very private with nice neighbors right near the water with a nice yard for yard games, BBQ etc. Two stars only because of unnecessary insane drama

We found this hotel to be an affordable last-minute option for us. It was much nicer than I thought after seeing the online listings. However, we were disappointed with the beds, which were not comfortable, and the wifi that didn’t operate the entire time we were there.

Stayed for a week. Nothing but problems. The owner is an old Italian lady who is extremely rude and nasty. Our room had bugs and lots of ants in the bathroom. The pool was always dirty and staff kept leaving the pool vacuum in the water. When sitting out on the room balcony they turn the outside lights off on you. They force you out of your room to clean them early in the morning. They almost woke up to kids under 9 and threatened not to clean the room. No cell service and the wifi doesn’t work. Takes over an hour to get towels after calling front desk. The owner watches everything you do and the phones in the rooms don’t work. The website description isn’t what you get when you arrive. I highly recommend avoiding this place.

–Doors a struggle to open with given key –First room toilet did not work –Second room light switch didn’t work –Third room the screen on the sliding door to balcony fell off, thank goodness no one got hurt when this happen. Front desk notified but no one came and fixed it so we didn’t go back out to balcony. Staff did come to room and offer apology for previous defects in other rooms, she gave us a $ 75 gift card to eatery next door. When we came back from dinner we could not open door with given key, staff came and opened it. Other people renting rooms that night complained to us in the hallway their keys weren’t opening doors easily either. –For the price of the room I expected nicer pillows/towels/blankets –Pool area was nice though I would not stay here again

Stayed here during the off season(end of Mar, beginning of April) for 2 weeks to attend training at a nearby facility. Did not have a chance to check out the amenities such as pool and the gym(pool was closed, didn’t find out about gym until I was leaving). Seems like the place is family run, but I could be wrong. Either way, I enjoyed my stay. Employees were friendly. Room cleanup was prompt and thorough. Stayed in the cheapest room they have available at $ 89 on weekdays not including taxes and $ 99 to $ 109 on weekends. Room was cozy(just wish I had a microwave in it, did have a small fridge though). The location is not too bad, there is a restaurant next door that opens for dinner only. Room still had tube tv as a previous reviewer pointed out, but wasn’t a big deal to me since I don’t watch TV when I’m on the road. Wi-fi was finnicky, but adequate enough to be able to do netflix and skype with family. Overall, had a pleasant experience. I can imagine this place is a lot more lively during the summer. Recommended if you just want a cozy place to lay your head after business.

We stayed here over the 4th. We made the mistake of booking directly with the hotel, instead of using the discount sites so we paid an extra $ 40, which they did not want to hear about during checking, and didn’t offer the lower rate. PLUSES: The room clean. The grounds were well landscaped. There was never a wait in the office. AVERAGE: The pool, and hot tub were normal for a hotel of this size. Of the 3 staff members I interacted with, 2 were at least friendly in a plastic way, but the other one was hostile. BELOWAVERAGE: There was *very low* water pressure in the shower. Regardless of the time of day. The Breakfast. I have stayed at hotels in Manhattan that were of comparable rates and had much better selections. The Free WiFi is Dog slow. About the speed of a 300 baud modem. Normally you at least get a 33.6k modem ! Your credit card statement is your receipt. The TV’s were old tubes, and although there were a lot of channels, they were all staticy. None of the pictures were clear. They don’t respond to email, and their website booking system is broken. SUMMARY If you are just paying for a place to sleep, and don’t care about the breakfast or amenities at the hotel, and the price sites right with you, this could be the location for you. We paid $ 180/night for a 2 double.
