Such a wonderful trail I like to use for long bike rides. Originally I would start out at the Easton soccer fields and take it all they way up to Polaris. Now the southern section is finally opened this year at the Easton fields. You can get about as far south as ODU, eventually it will all be connected all they way through which I can’t wait. These trails are nice in the fact they try to avoid any road crossing as possible that would interrupt you. They have made several very nice bridges and underpasses to keep you going on the trail. Lots of trail heads, so you can start in many locations.

This trail connects the communities of Westerville, Columbus, and Bexley along Alum Creek. Length: 31 miles Type: Paved Surface Biking this trail with my family is my absolute new obsession! I haven’t made it the whole 31 miles yet… but I will, eventually. There is a mix of scenery, making for a pleasant ride. A «mostly» flat trail makes it easy enough for our youngest to keep up but gives me enough work out to keep me happy. Every couple of miles, you will come along a park… so if you have a young rider with you, there is plenty of opportunity for breaks that will keep them feeling like the outing is all fun-no work(wink, wink). When you see a dirt path off the main paved path — take it. You might just be embarking on a great adventure! We have found a few hidden gems. There are bridges over Alum Creek, fishing ponds and tons of points of interest along the way. If you are looking for a great way to spend quality family time, or just want a great workout while enjoying a beautiful day outdoors: get off your butt — get on a bike — ANDRIDE!
