We were headed to my husband’s small hometown for a wedding. We were a little short on time and I really didn’t want to have to get involved in doing my hair at the hotel. On our way through Columbus I Unilocaled Blow Out Bar and DiModa came up. It was in a location handy to us so I called to see what my chances were of getting in last minute. It was no problem and the young lady (so sorry I can’t remember her name) who gave me a very nice blow out/​style was super friendly. She only charged me $ 10! If I lived there I’d be going every other day! Good place!

Curtis is the best! Great conversation with a great hair cut! Curtis knew exactly what look I was going for! Convinced me to put a hard part in my look at tires out killer! As a guy it’s great to walk in and not feel out of place in a salon! Totally recommend this place! Price is way reasonable too! I will be going back for sure!

Amazing service and very friendly, laid back atmosphere. Loved the straight perm from Curtis. It was my first time so he made sure to explain everything to me. Unfortunately, I am from out of state just visiting family for the holidays, because I would come here for any and all hair services! They have great hair products as well. Definitely pleased with their service.

Curtis has been doing my hair for over a year now. He got me through my «please fix my attempt to cut my own bangs» fiasco and brought me flawlessly through my redheaded phase. Most recently, he did a perfect job on my wedding hair. I received so many compliments!

Love this salon! The staff is always pleasant and my stylist Curtis is the best! Great atmosphere, music, and they always offer you a beverage. From cut, color and styling I was very pleased with the end result and will be back many times in the future.

I previously rated this salon with rave reviews, and I stand by my comments about the stylist Christa.
HOWEVER my return for a Brazilian straightening treatment has left me extremely upset at Curtis (the owner and person who applied and sold me the product). I was told by him that my hair would be straight for up to four months after the treatment (costing about $ 275), be more manageable, less frizzy, not as full, and cut down on the time it takes for me to dry and style my hair. So of course I bought into his sales pitch. Well, the treatment did nothing for my hair (yes it looked straight after he applied the product and ran a flat iron over it) but once I washed the product out after leaving it in for over 24hrs, my hair returned to it’s natural state. It took me just as long to blow dry it and flat iron it. It was not less frizzy if left to air dry and did not diminish the thick unruliness as I was promised. After informing Curtis of my disappointment, he stated that the product would only produce the results he stated if it was blow dried and flat ironed, (ummm I can get the same results without paying $ 275) and that my expectations were too high.
His words «I want to first apologize about the level of expectations. The Brazilian Keratin Treatment is a product that is a volume reducer and still requires you to blow dry your hair, when this product is left to air dry your hair is going to stay in its natural state without the use of styling product or blow drying. This product works at its optimum level when blown dry with the use of styling product»
This was not what I was told originally… I wanted a refund and he objected, so I am proceeding with a fraud claim. Why would I pay $ 275 for a straightening treatment that only works if you blow dry and use a flat iron, if those two things alone produce the same result without the straightening product? I was lied to and mislead by Curtis, don’t let it happen to you too. This is fraud and he should own up to the fact that he mislead me, by his own admission.
