My husband and I have gone twice to First Expressions. The first time for a gender reveal at 16 weeks and the second time today, at 30 weeks for a 3D photo of our little nugget :) Chris was out technician each time and has worked there 10 years-she is incredibly patient and didn’t let us leave without great photos. She spent more time with us to make sure we got what we paid for because our baby was holding her hand over her face. There were people waiting in the front room area for their appointment-but I don’t know if they were late or not… but I assume she would spend a bit more time with everyone to make sure they receive great images. Patience is key with something like this-you can’t control what your baby is doing after all! Perhaps those last two reviews were with older equipment or with a different staff than today? I haven’t experienced anything but kindness over the phone and in person from these guys! Whooo!

Horrible Experience! I bought the Platinum package($ 275) which included two 30 minute session of 3D/4D. Facilities are a little bit hard to find, but once you get there, they have nice and big facilities and good equipment. Don’t expect to see crisp images on the projector, but if your party is small enough everyone can look at the monitor which is quite good. They make a lot of emphasis that if you are 10 minutes late, they will reschedule. We ended up going three times(not due being late) and the first time we waited 30 minutes past our appointment, second time we waited ONE hour and the third time we waited 30 minutes as well. Make sure you are not late but be prepared to wait long time for them to see you. My first session was pretty good actually, it was on a Saturday and we got quite a few good images and I was overall happy. I was scheduled by the assistant to go back 6 weeks later. Our second appointment(a Saturday as well) I was already upset for the long wait(with a toddler in tow, one hour feels like an eternity). This time the baby didn’t cooperate much and she would only let us see her feet and kept her face covered. The technician requested us to reschedule. Now, you can only be rescheduled during the week. So we had the third appointment scheduled by the following Wednesday. This time was a different technician than the first two appointments. The first thing she said as soon as I laid down was how many pictures we needed to print, she did seem to be in a VERY bad mood. 10 minutes into the session she started showing me blurry pictures(I’ll see if I can attach them) and asked me to choose, I said I couldn’t identify anything that could resemble a baby, then she went on complaining that I was too far along to see something(30 weeks), I said that I didn’t schedule it this far. Then she said we were running out of time, I asked my husband what time was it(I had been timing the waiting) and I proceeded to tell her that we were just about 15 minutes into the session. She said«well you won’t get any better pictures than this, you have to choose now». I said no, and that we still had time and that I knew she wanted to be done with me, but I wanted to have one decent image. At the end, I chose to print some and she ended up printing(without my consent) images that I clearly told her that I did not want. I ran out of «printed images» and my session was over. I was upset enough that I just decided to GTFO of there. Very frustrating. When I was out there were already two other couples waiting to be seen, one seemed to be very frustrated. The three times I was there, there was only one technician and only one ultrasound room. I don’t recommend it to anyone.

Don’t waste your time and money. The tech did not explain anything she was doing or what she was seeing. Just laughed & said awww look @ her. We had no idea what she was talking about. The baby had her hand in front of her face and instead letting us enjoy the natural scene the tech kept tapping on my daughters’ belly and got the baby so active it was all blurry. Their big screen has an awful pic & you can’t make anything out. Took the discs home we bought & tried to make heads or tails out of the whole thing just to be sadly disappointed & felt like a total waste of $ 135. Called the company, talked to the receptionist which was very pleasant and understanding. The«senior sonographer» which is also the owner was going to review the pics and call us back, which she did but was rude & said as long as we received 1 good face pic of the 95 that were taken it was considered a successful session. Then proceeded to hang up on us! I’m not sure which one was a good pic because I didn’t like any of them! They were blurry & distorted. We recently had another 3D/4D ultrasound & let the baby do whatever she wanted w/o stimulating her and received some very nice pics. Just because they have nice pics on their website doesn’t mean they will give you that same quality. Look at the other 3D/4D place close to Polaris they will bring you back for a second session if your baby is not cooperative. Don’t let the u/s tech tap on your belly til the baby gets moving so much you can’t see anything, then it becomes your fault. Only gave it 1 star for the receptionist the rest of the facility gets nothing but to rip me off $ 135! I think Chris is the owner beware rude & nasty!
