I hadn’t been here in 15 years, and was excited to get a good gyro and fresh falafel. Let me start by saying that the places décor has really gone down hill, and seemed almost dirty, but I did get my food to go, so I wasn’t interested in the dining atmosphere. As for the most important thing«the food» I was VERYDISAPPOINTED! She pulled the gyro meat out of a pan in the fridge and put in in a pan of some kind of liquid on the grill top??? When she went to make my falafel she bent over and turned the fryer on then put the falafel in the grease before it was up to the proper cooking temp, so it was like four chickpea sponges, and that made the falafel inedible. The only reason I’m not giving them one star is the lady, who I believe owns the restaurant, was very nice, and that’s worth a star in my book.

I have been pleasantly surprised by both the quality and freshness of their food in addition to the pleasant and prompt service… Their falafel sandwich is the best I’ve had anywhere! I can’t imagine a better place to get my Mediterranean food from. Great find!:-)

The poor reviews must be from the competition because this restaurant is as good as a middle eastern eatery gets. We have been eating here for 20 years and are looking forward to another 20. We have dined in all 50 states and use this restaurant as our gauge of great food. One of us is a vegetarian, the other is a carnivore and we always pleasantly find great meals at Grapevine on Schrock. The gyros are terrific but be adventurous: try the lentils and rice with a tabbouleh salad or maybe kibbeh or kafta dinner. After 20 years, we have tasted everything many times over with delight. But, remember: it is closed Saturday and Sunday.

I can only speak to one dish on the menu, and it’s the one I’ve been going back for many years now — the gyros. They are laden with meat and salad and the best Greek(cucumber?) dressing that I have tasted. Service is necessarily slow, as the kitchen is normally staffed by only one person and there are only a couple of hot plates or burners for gyro preparation. But the wait is very much worth it and service is friendly. My fussy wife agrees that these are the best gyros in Columbus and maybe in the Midwest.

Don’t get here very often, but I do like it. It’s pretty spartan. Don’t expect much in the way of extras(even napkins or condiments). I always get the felafel, which I love. The fries are hand-cut, I think, which I don’t actually prefer, but they’re not bad. And they give you a bunch. I don’t know that I’d go out of my way to eat here, but if you’re in the area and bored of all the other options, you should check it out.

Highly recommend the pita bread. They put it on the grill. Small place; I usually get take-out. Classic greek/middle easten foods. Limited vegetarian options, but what they have is worth it.

I think the other reviews may be outdated. The facility was filthy and the food was pretty bad. Ordered a greek salad and they brought out a plate of iceburg lettuce covered in ranch dressing. I will not go there again and I would not recommend others to go.

Great house salad dressing! It’s a Greek dressing that’s not too garlicky. Unfortunately, I requested it on the side of my salad, but they doused it right on top. It’s a pet peeve. Thankfully, as I mentioned, it was very good! They do not accept credit cards. And it’s more of a deli than a full service restaurant. They only have maybe six tables. If you’re in the mood for Greek and short on time, with the exception of waiting for your food, this would be a good place to stop.

Admittedly, it has been a long time since I was here. I don’t like doing reviews like this, but I rode by tonight while in town and the same lady that worked the counter 10 years ago was there tonight. This place made me love Tabouleh Salad. The other items on the menu are very good too. There are a few tables or you can take out. They make everything for you while you wait, so it can be slow. If you’re in the Westerville area, this place is worth a stop.
