We had been with Dr. Katrina Tansky from when they had just opened their office. I had received a referral from a staff member at Children’s Hospital, and really liked her from the get go. The care was always decent and I loved that she remembered my children, even when it was a year between visits.
The reason I have to give them such a poor rating is the fact my family was dismissed from the practice for no fair reason. It is not good practice too just cut patients, especially after I had spoken so highly of this office and recommended these pediatricians to family and friends. Actually, that speaks volumes of their values and practice. I was sent a letter that we couldn’t miss anymore appointments, and I totally understood that. We had missed our appointment for flu shots and I hadn’t realized that would count against us since it was a flu blitz clinic, but that’s ok. Then, a month later I was told we had been dropped as patients. That was it.
So, if you are looking for decent care then Step by Step Pediatrics is your place. If you are looking for personalized care from people that actually care about your children and are committed to their care, then this probably isn’t the right group.
