This site has gone thru a recent owner/director change and even though my son was happy with the past staff, they did have some administrative issues. The new director and staff really seem to be trying hard to get the center up to speed and be very efficient. The new director is very approachable and eager to accommodate parents requests, as well as, ensure children are safe, happy, and learning. Another advantange is that a few of the teachers have been in child-care for over 15 yrs each… so a lot of knowledge. The center is also one of the most economical I could find, especially as a single income parent that is just over the income requirements to qualify for Title XX. so this is very important. They do have smaller class sizes to accommodate the various developmental stages of children, so your 18 – 36 mths aren’t all packed in the same room… which helped my son tremendously when he transitioned from a larger center. Meals and beverages are included in the tuition, as well as, for infants they also include similac pre-made liquid formula and beechnut jarred foods and various snacks. Wipes are also included. Only bottles/sippy cups, bedding(porta-crib(infant) or crib(preschool) sheet and blanket), change of clothes, and diapers are required. The center is large on the inside, a bit older, but they have done well with it and are gradually making nice updates around the inside. Plenty of toys and activities for indoor play, as well as, plenty of room to move around… which for my son being a very active 2 ½ yrs, that is essential. The playground is pretty dated though and I hope they do change this soon, but the new owners are taking many steps to bring the center up to speed, so as much as the children would like this I’m sure, I think it isn’t the top priority. They also do shuttle to many schools in the Westerville school district, as well as, there are several buses that come in and pick up children too.
