Advanced Wellness of Westfield

Well, to start I am still waiting on my reimbursement check that you said you would send to me at the end of May.

INSURANCE FRAUD. I see that these guys have a lot of 5 stars, which was of course one of the reasons I chose them in the first place, but I WILL NEVER RETURN. They offer a service called ALCAT, a $ 1,300.00 blood test to check food sensitivity. Well, what they don’t tell you when you make the appointment, is that they don’t take your blood, nor do they test your blood. 2 other facilities, that they do not help you locate or work with, do that work. So that is their value add? Why are they even in the question? You give them your $ 1,300.00 and then… they bring you in to a room and run a battery of tests on you and send you a bill for that too. It’s basically a scam. They force feed tests on you looking to submit an insurance claim, completely unrelated to the blood test. When I said that I didn’t want a chiropractic exam, the doctor and nurse got very sharp with me insisting that I must have the tests. I was very clear with them that I would not pay for the unsolicited tests, and so what did they do? They changed the price of the blood test. They were going to squeeze money out of me one way or the other. Luckily I had a confirmation email with the price pre-​stated, which I had to literally show them insisting that I would not pay a dollar more than I was originally quoted. I could not wait to leave their office. These people are DISHONEST and apparently will do anything to manipulate their customers for an extra dollar. My experience is that they are squeezing out as many tests as possible, so that they can bill the insurance companies as much as possible. And when you put your foot down on that, they literally just raise the price of the service you are getting. NO MORALS.

I have to admit, I thought a chiropractor was all about cracking backs, but that was not the case at Advanced Wellness of Westfield. After years of sitting in a car as sales rep, I was suffering from neck, scapula and hip discomfort. Mind you, I’m only 30 and fairly athletic. Now, with only a few sessions and a painless sound wave to adjust my atlas bone, I feel 100% relieved and ironically, I can lift 20% more. What’s even better, is that after the adjustment, Dr. Mike offered advice and therapies to strengthen the weakened muscles, which not many chiropractors offer from what I’m told. Dr. Mike and Dr. Pinto have a wholistic approach that has me feeling like a champ again. I highly recommend their services.
