I don’t usually bother to review pizza places, because I’m a traveling businesswoman and order pizza frequently for my presentations. However my experience with Gigi’s was much less than desirable. I found the staff to be relatively rude pushy and severely lacking customer service skills. I spent over $ 150 on an order, was not offered anything discounted for a large order, including the bottle of water that I had to purchase out of pocket will picking up my $ 150 order. Typically the pizza places I’ve worked with will throw in a small free cheese pizzas some sodas and or at the very least, a bottle of water!
My order was not ready when I went to pick it up, (even though I called the night before to make sure it would be ready), and I waited for nine minutes to be able to pack up my car and then move on to my destination.
I was not given a receipt when I went to pick up my order, and called back the next day to get a reprint of it, and was told that they can’t print receipts again, and couldn’t help me.
The pizza was given an OK overall, but the students said it was nothing impressive. They were very large for $ 25 pizzas, but in this case the lack of quality overruled quantity, and I will not be ordering from Gigi’s again while in the Western mass area. It’s a shame too, because I visit most of the schools out there and frequently order large volumes.

This place was awful. I got 2 dinners, Chicken Franchise and Chicken Marsala both were pretty much taste less. Chicken was spongy in the franchise and the «lemon butter sauce» tasted like a white gravy no lemon taste at all. Definitely never eating here again.

I called this pizza place tonight to place an order for delivery. The woman on the phone was very quick with me and seemed very annoyed from the beginning. I ordered a large pizza, half BBQ chicken and half pepperoni. I also wanted chicken tenders. My girlfriend changed her mind and said since we had so many people we should make it two mediums. I asked the girl if I could change it and her response was «to what?» Very annoyed sounding. I was upset but decided I would still place the order since I already had ordered. But when she asked what the address was, I asked her to hold so I could ask my friend. She then begin yelling into the phone «HELLO?» and when I went back to ask her to please hold on, offended that she was yelling, and the phone disconnected. I did not hang up, I don’t know if it was an accident or not but I was not interested in finding out. She called me back and still sounded rude. At this point I handed the phone over to my friend and we told her we no longer wanted her attitude or the company’s services. I do not recommend them at all.

Was great in 2012. New ownership now. Not at all the same place. Any old review praising it was right on. Any new review trashing it is also right on. Times change. This place went way downhill in quality at the same time it went up in price. Pity.

Their food is all frozen and tasteless. They used to be great but when they changed owners the quality changed.

I know Gigis has gotten some terrible reviews but we’ve always really liked it here! We order take-​out from here a few times a month and really are never disappointed. We tend to get the personal pizzas since we all like different toppings. Our favorites are the Milan (chicken and broccoli) and pizza gorgonzola (mmm…gorgonzola). We didn’t love the chicken teriyaki (too salty) but love that we even had the chance to try something so different! We’ve also had grinders (chicken parm is great) and wraps and the cheese fries are delicious. We’ll continue getting Gigis for takeout!

Gigi’s used to be some of the best pizza in the area. I ordered from there three times since the new ownership. IT IS GOD AWFUL! Waited an hour and fifteen for delivery when they told us 45. We ordered chicken svoulaki (off the menu) and had to explain to them what it was… They still made it completely wrong. Ordered a two topping pizza, only got one topping. Awful tasting, complete yard sale of a business.

I’m about to get real with you guys.
Gigi’s used to be amazing. When I first came to Westfield State in 2010 it was my go-​to for delivery. However, things have changed.
Many of you are aware that Gigi’s is now under new management. Unfortunately, these new mangers do not use alcohol in their cooking, which really takes away from authentic Italian sauté dishes. This has resulted in many old favorites being removed from the menu, for example, the chicken marsala. For a while is remained one of the more common delivery spots because, let’s face it, Bell Italia and Valley were just not cutting it, but now the business is slowly fading out. The more recent owners passed it of because it became such a burden and it has become somewhat of a nightmare.
My room mate ordered a salad and was not too pleased to find moldy tomatoes atop her food. I thought I’d give them one last chance so I ordered the stuffed shell/​lasagna combo. What I received can only be described as a little bit of shells and lasagna doused in sauce (seriously, you couldn’t even see evidence of pasta under it) and then covered in cheese.
Overall, this place went from being a local favorite to a general disappointment. This place needs to be put in good hands soon before what’s left of their reputation is destroyed.

May-​2013 — — - — Highly disappointed and have changed my rating from a three to a two. They are inconsistent with their food and have begun to use lower quality appetizers. Pizza is good, not great.

This place is fantastic for pizza and boneless wings

I went here a few months back, right after moving to the area. Actually, I moved to the area of Gigi’s II, but called the wrong number. After finding out that I was at the wrong restaurant, I headed down the road to this Gigi’s. I wish I had called the right number.
I had read a review elsewhere that mentioned the large pizza was much larger than what you’d expect from a large pizza. Cool. I’m a gluton, so that’ll work. Actually the pizza wasn’t larger than a regular large pizza. It just happened to have about 6 inches of dry, tough crust taking up most of the pizza. Sure, the actual product was huge, but not the part you’d actually want to eat. Even the rest of the pizza wasn’t so great. It was dry, and well… dry. Maybe they just had an off-​night, because I’ve tried Gigi’s II, and everything was much better.
Okay, so a poorly-​made pizza alone wouldn’t have made me vow to never give this place another chance. The wings took care of that. I love wings. It’s meat and fat and skin and marrow, and everything else that means flavor. As long as you cook the things, it’s near impossible to make them so bad somebody wouldn’t want to eat them. Notice how I said «as long as you cook…»

I barely left the bathroom for the next day and a half.
Maybe I’m just soft, but I hate leaving such a bad review when it’s the only review on here. Hopefully somebody else speaks up with a good experience. I mean, they’ve got two locations, so they must be doing something right. Or, they must have been doing something right somewhere along the line. I have since been to Gigi’s II, and it’s acceptable. I wasn’t brave enough to try the wings again, but the pizza wasn’t bad.

Close by and pretty good for a night when you don’t feel like cooking. Pizza is OK. My friends and family like it. My favorite thing about this place is their honey barbecue wings. I get them every time we go. Worth checking out.

Always great pizza, eat there often. Quick and friendly service. Call in your take out orders, they are usually very busy.
