We went to dinner last night I believe it’s the best Chinese that I can remembr. We decided on the public put platter for 2. That was a mistake: way too much food. Now for the good part. Everything on that platter was better than you’ll find at other places. The only change that I would make is to have a separate entrance for the dining area.

In my opinion they are the only good Chinese food place in Westfield. That being said still no 100% my fav place to get it from. Still recommend it to anyone who wants to try it out.

Solid. Good food, pleasant service. It’s takeout chinese, so nothing revolutionary here. The vegetable dishes are its secret weapon, along with whomever in back has mastered the fryer. Would I take the queen here? Probably not, but will I feel bad if my kids order chicken fingers and fried rice for dinner? Definitely no.

This place is fair as Westfield Chinese goes. I’ve been here 3 times only because I have friends in town who swear by it. It is the best place to sit down, have a meal and a scorpion bowl if Chinese food is what you are hankering for. I think the food is an ok hit or miss … But super duper overpriced for the quantity. The service is good and the staff is nice. I really enjoyed my scorpion bowl though :) if you are looking for take out or delivery(which they don’t offer) I’d look up town.

I’m not really sure why all the low stars, you would think a fuckin dumpster like this is exactly what Westfield would want. And when I say dumpster I mean gnarly little fuckin place. This is a quiet little place with the same regulars every fuckin day, even the bartender. The bartender has definitely been through some shit, but she’s a peach. There’s keno, a scratcher machine, and I will agree that the food can be hit or miss, but for the most part it’s pretty fucking good, hot and sour soup extra spicy all fuckin day with cream cheese spring rolls. Maybe the problem people have with Tung Shing is that it’s located in the arm pit of the city. I don’t mean like crime and shit, it’s just fuckin worn down over here from all the go hards over the years. But I’m tellin ya, of you’re lookin for a quiet little place to grab a drink or 12 and some grub, where everyone’s friendly as fuck, Tung Shing is your fuckin spot bro

Wow, we happened upon this place in a desperate attempt to eat and it got even worse. The place is dingy and as other reviewers mentioned, inhabited by lower class locals nursing beers at the bar playing Keno and scratchoffs. No diss to them… Just way out of place at a Chinese restaurant. The waiter was some younger white guy, not a good sign and when he brought fried noodles and tea, the noodles were stale. He brought a squirter container of duck sauce that was watery(!!!) We should’ve walked out then and there… The food itself was scary, the Chicken wonton soup was like dishwater with old refrigerator tasting wontons. We also tried the seafood spring rolls that had mushy almost turning bad shrimp in them. Then had ordered a plate of greasy lo mein with chicken. My wife, my son and I were paranoid that we were going to get food poisoning here. $ 30 out the window, we left without getting past the first few bites most of it. Totally grossed out. When you pass by this place, speed up to get away from it quicker… Yuck.

Got takeout from here a fair number of times and I have determined that the place is hit or miss every time I order. Some things I have ordered were excellent where others were totally lackluster or downright disgusting. I think the reason I keep coming back is because they reliably deliver when I am too lazy to cook something decent myself or to leave the house.

The chicken fingers, fried rice, and the shrimp with lobster sauce make the grade. The chicken fingers I think are the best in the lower Valley. Everything else is pretty bad. The wonton soup has a very odd after-taste, and the spare ribs are dry and tough. The inside of the restaurant is smoked-out and full of townies playing Keno and watching the local news on the bar TV. No Sox game here. Take-out is the only way to go.

My boyfriend and I have systematically been trying all the Chinese restaurants in Westfield and haven’t had much luck. The food at the Tung Shing Dragon, however, was among the worst we’ve had. The breakdown: Egg drop soup was gloppy and full of mushrooms, onions, and other stuff.(I prefer mine the plain and simple way — mostly broth and egg.) Lemon chicken was pu-pu platter style chicken, weirdly cut in half(though the lemon sauce was admittedly tasty). Rice only came with one entrée, not the other. Food was generally not great.
