I am never disappointed by their service. They have great options for tea and coffee. I recommend trying their omletes.

This place has its own different spin on flavor… Try Lobster Benedict(Poached eggs, bacon, avocado, fresh lobster and hollandaise sauce) Super delish!!!

Terrible service. Waited forever for waitress to come and give water, take order, and bring check. Food was ok but I won’t be going back. Coffee is good though.

Definitely an ideal brunch spot with lots of cutesy things on the menu from waffles to a variety of hot chocolates including Reese’s cups. I’ve been twice. The first time the blueberry lemon pancakes were delightful. The second time my French toast was light and fluffy and the stuff dreams are made of. I tried my friends egg Benedict, which I’ve never had before, and it made me want to try a plate of my own next time! On weekends there will be a wait, consider reservations.

Delicious brunch and friendly staff!!! Had the Costa Rica French press which was TODIEFOR! And the Wilbur Skillet… so good! Highly suggest for good breakfast. All I would suggest is some mimosas on the menu.

Great location — good menu — the worst service in WESTFIELD. Servers would walk past the table and either look at the ceiling or look at the floor. Food arrived cold … Is this an example of «WESTFIELDENTITLEMENT»? Wake up management — you have a gold mine which could run dry if the service doesn’t change!

I love turning point but this location disappointed me. We did a call ahead and was told we would have a table available at 12:15 but when we got there we still had to wait. When we did get our table it was in the far right side room in the corner by the register. It was so close to the wall that we had to pull it out and then we were back to back with the table behind us. Because we were in such an unconventional spot it took the waitress a long time to get to us. I always get the protein pancakes with bananas and unfortunately they were burnt on one side. My husbands waffles were also extra crispy and my nephew had the children’s smores waffles that were extremely burnt but he didn’t mind because they were covered in chocolate sauce. Like I said, I love turning point but not this location.

Turning Point is a brunch staple in Westfield(mostly do to the lack of other options). Be prepared to wait for a table on the weekend but they do have outdoor seating for the warmer months. The menu is a mix of breakfast and lunch omelettes, skillets, waffles, pancakes, soups, salads, and sandwiches with several healthy items They offer specials that change with the season and an extensive selection of speciality drinks. The portions are moderately sized, as are the prices. Pro tip: you can get a free drink refill in a to-go cup for when you leave.

Food would have been great if it came out hot, not cold. Service was slow and when we mentioned that the food was cold, instead of offering something else the waitress just kind off brushed it off! Manager was running around like a chicken with his head cut off! Waited almost an hour to be seated and about 30 mins for our cold food to come out(excuse was it got stuck behind a big order). The coffee didn’t disappoint! Haha! I’m sure the service and food is better when it’s not so busy. They are not prepared for the busy holiday crowds.

So disappointed. I ordered breakfast from there to pick up. Nothing crazy, just a Wilbur skillet, no bacon. Also gluten sensitive. Which I said first thing while ordering. I got to the location a half hour later due to crazy traffic. I was informed it wasn’t done yet(I was told ten mins on the phone). Ok fine. So I ask for a coffee. They give me the cup, I go to pour and notice two pots say decaf, one says French vanilla. I ask the girl behind the counter which is regular. She looked at me like I had four heads and said«I really don’t know»…ok…so I asked someone else who pointed it out. I pour, and guess what? It’s French vanilla(it was labeled decaf which is why I asked in the first place). Ok whatever. So I get my food after a ten minute wait. The girl looks in the bag, looks at my ticket. Looks in the bag again and then hands it to me. I get outside and look, it had an English muffin on it. My ticket said gluten sensitive! So I bring it back in, tell the lady. Who brings it in the back and then back out in one minutes time with a fruit cup. Clearly all they did was take out the English muffin. Didn’t even try to make it seem like they remade it. Got home, the potatoes were ice cold. I mean, I don’t even think they were cooked half the time they should have been. I understand they were busy. I understand that. But please put people with more knowledge of the restaurant at the front. They couldn’t even tell me which coffee was correct. And looked straight at my INCORRECT order in the bag and try to give it to me anyway! I very rarely write reviews about restaurants, but this is kind of ridiculous. Please get more caring staff members!

Nice diner spot with good, fresh food! My boyfriend had the chocolate chip pancakes(sans raspberry sauce) and they were delish. I had the scrambled eggs with a side of sausage. The sausage was a miss for me — a little spicy and not your classic sausage. Good coffee, really pretty décor. 4 stars.

We were looking for a new breakfast place and found Turning Point on a recent Sunday morning. Despite walking in a little after 9am I was surprised at the crowd and that it would be a 30 minute wait. Nevertheless, there was a generous indoor waiting area(important in the fall gloom), and once called we were efficiently taken care of by our server. The Big Easy Eggs Benedict were amazing; spicy hollandaise, sweet and savory sausage, and perfectly cooked eggs with some very nice home fries on the side. Coffee was good but plentiful and we left feeling well-fueled for the day. Will stop by again the next time we’re in Westfield for shopping, but maybe later in the day after the crowds.

I go to the beach almost every weekend in the summer. I go to Long Branch beach and I park close to the Turning Point and I pass by with people eating their breakfast with a view of the ocean and the food looks amazing. I was so jealous. And my boyfriend tells me that there is a Restaurant just like that where he lives in Westfield and we go there. We sit outside and it was a beautiful day. I got a skillet and he got waffles. It was so delicious. I also got a side of potatoes. Everything was beautiful and delicious. Deff going back soon!!!

I had the grand French toast. 3 large slices of Texas toast. Was very good. Also ordered a side of bacon. The bacon had a plastic texture to it. It was just ok.

This was one of the best brunch meals I’ve had in a while! I stopped in as a party of 3 and although there was a 20 – 25 minute wait on a Saturday(around 1) it was totally worth it. There is a large waiting room area to sit in during your wait. We were seated in the time frame we were given and had a friendly girl as our server. All in all, the food was great– I had the Wilbur skillet as is and it was fantastic! Ingredients and flavored were portioned wonderfully and it also came with a fruit cup and English muffin. It was a great price for a great meal! All in all, I will be coming back and I can’t wait for the next meal to test out *also, the ice cubes in the iced coffee were made of iced coffee! Oh, the little things :)

This place is always busy and always has a wait so I was generally excited about finally trying it. Service is good. Aesthetically it’s very pleasing. And the food looks lovely. Presentation is wonderful. The problem I had was with the taste. It was okay, just okay. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Yet, when everything looks so good and fits so well I guess, I expect the taste to correspond. This just didn’t. It was bland. There are many places around to go enjoy a meal. I just don’t see this as a place where I’d make the concerted effort or manage the wait to enjoy a meal in again. For what it’s worth, I had the eggs benedict. I found the hollandaise very heavy. The egg was cooked well. All the variables for a wonderful meal were there, but yet weren’t. There was just something in the taste that was missing. My kids had the chicken tenders(of course) and they loved them. Staff accommodated my daughter’s request for sliced apples as a side. Wonderful service.

This place is good. A little bit of an upscale diner. They typically close at 3 as they are a breakfast/brunch/lunch place. We ordered the summer special lobster nachos and the lobster was a bit flavorless and lacking in excitement but the rest of the nachos were good. I had the chicken feta salad which was good. Great portion size and the balsamic dressing was amazing.

I got the lobster eggs Benedict, which was fantastic, and my boyfriend got the seasonal lobster nachos, which were also really good. We both got iced chais– he loved his, but mine was very syrupy and thick; obviously out of a bottle. The bill came to just about $ 40– not bad considering we both got lobster. Although the food was delicious and well priced, I felt a little rushed by our waitress. She dropped the check in the middle of the meal, and took my plate away as I was still finishing up my last bite. I also had to take a star off because we sat right near the kitchen door, which was so squeaky it gave us a headache.(We did say something to the waitress, as did the table behind us, but nothing got done.) I would come again, but DEFINITELY would ask to be seated somewhere else.

Turning point is kinda of like the Starbucks of breakfast restaurants. Cute, open, and bright interior with a bunch of hipster décor. I really love their selection of teas, i chose the peppermint. Service was kinda slow and it took forever to get seated although i’m not sure why. There were like 4 hostesses which seemed like overkill. My food was great. I ordered the wilbur skillet which is my go to choice. cheesy potatoes with avocado and bacon yumm. I was a little disappointed that the tomatoes weren’t fresh. I think that the turning point in Hoboken is better than this one.

You know it is good when it succeeds in a center of town location while being closed for dinner. Excellent pancakes; many outdoor tables. Often very crowded.

A very cute alternative to the usual suburban IHOP brunch, for primarily just a cozier ambiance. Though we went before 11am, there was a moderate Sunday rush and had to wait about thirty minutes for a table. Once seated the service was quick, though a bit abrupt and cold. The menu was more creative than an IHOP type place, but the quality wasn’t particularly better, and I think the highish price tags weren’t justified. We were a group of five and all tried different dishes. — TRY: I do recommend the blueberry lemon pancakes which were light, big, and subtly flavored(not overly sweet). — SKIP: The pesto infused egg skillet sounds more inspired than its sad reality– the eggs were mostly flavorless and the accompanying vegetables were sparse and bland; I suggest skipping this despite the intriguing description. Everything else was pretty in presentation, forgettable in taste.

Food is always delicious. Staff is very attentive. But I am upset about constantly having to wait, even when calling ahead. I called ahead and STILL had to wait 50 minutes to be seated. Also, they tell you hey it’s a 35 minute wait. You are hungry but you know the foods good and you’ll live so you accept. Then you go up to them after 35 minutes and they say. hmm another 20… It’s so annoying and it’s literally every time I have been there. My score is based on that issue. Other than that id say it was a 5 for service, food, and price.

Came here on a Sunday as i was visiting town. The wait was really long. They have a waiting area for people to sit, read papers and eat cups of snacks(cereals). We ordered some drinks to wait. My son has the smores hot chocolate which i thought tasted really food. He didnt seem like he like it tho(more for mommy). We finally got seated and placed our orders. Our orders took long to come as well. The hostess brought us a plate of fruits on the house and apologized. When the food finally came, i had the lobster eggs benedict which my girlfriend had raved about. In my opinion i felt it tasted okay. It had all the right things in it, lobster pcs, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and even avocados! But i expected it to be more flavorful. Overall, it was a very very long wait just to have brunch and only to taste moderate in the end. But i was told this is the only place that serves brunch around the area. Maybe thas why it was so busy.

Living locally, we come here regularly and have never been disappointed. They have many healthy options and price is good for the quality of food. Servers are always friendly and knowledgeable for recommendations. Parking is easy for the most part(except for holidays). French press is delicious and they have a variety of teas(unlike most that simply have low caliber Lipton black tea). We love it and will continue to visit.
