Meat Again is, by far, the best place to get almost any sort of meat you could want! Their meats are delicious, fresh, and perfectly cut & marinated. The butchers here are extremely knowledgeable, and love to talk food with you! If you have any questions, whether about what to buy, how to cook it, etc., they are more than happy to take the time to go over it all with you. Their sandwiches are good – although not complete without one of their gigantic and delicious made-in-house pickles! They also have great sales, which makes even the pricier cuts of meat very affordable. If you haven’t found your local butcher yet, Meat Again is it!

I always get good sandwiches at Meat Again. The cool part is they also have a great meat selection, so you can come in here to pick up a sandwich and also pick up some marinated meat for dinner at the same time. The prices are reasonable, although I almost always go with the $ 5.99 footlong special. There isn’t anywhere to sit in here, but I think there are some picnic tables outside. Definitely one of my regular lunch spots. Try the chicken salad with cranberries and walnuts! The BLT is also killer.

Have been here for lunch before. Usually good sandwiches. I have never tried there meats but they do look good. Walked in to grab a sandwich and saw they had a meatball sub as today’s special. Figured meat store, gotta be fresh meatballs right? They were. They were huge and extremely fresh. Haven’t had a good meatball sub like that in a while. Highly recommend it.

Infrequent puchaser… pretty good… questionable freshness… doesn’t exude cleanliness… but I’ve never had tummy trouble from them… really like the teriyaki steak tips…

Been there twice; the sandwhiches are good and reasonably priced. As a butcher the selection is small and the prices high — though the quality was good. Still looking for a decent butcher.

Staff was extremely friendly when I showed up with my 3 small children. They discretely pointed out the lollipop bin too. The only thing we’ve tried were the Buffalo Chicken sausages and corned beef. Extremely happy with both. Corned beef was absolutely delicious. It came with easy to follow instructions, and we enjoyed it for three separate meals.

I go to Meat Again every few months when I can get specials on the marinated meats. The various marinates for the chicken breasts are fantastic! While I’ve also gotten marinated turkey tips and marinated sirloin tips, which are also good, I usually stick with the chicken. I have several bags in my freezer. The spinach and feta marinated chicken is great baked in the oven. I’ve also enjoyed some of the spicier marinates, and the balsamic and gorgonzola. I wouldn’t pay full price for the meats, though. I usually wait until I have a coupon(there will be some in the local circulars) or until there’s a stock up sale. The stock up sales are usually twice a year, October and February. That’s when I’ll buy 20 bags of mainated chicken breasts and throw them in my freezer for the next several months. During the sales, you usually save $ 1.50 per pound. I have had sandwiches there, which are good. I’ve also tried some of the other things they offer. The chicken pot pie was disappointing — it was just too salty. And I didn’t like the stuffed chicken breasts as much as I thought I would. But the marinated chicken breasts are great.

Excellent sandwiches, and a decent selection of bottled drinks(nothing fancy, gatorade and the like). A great place to stop in for lunch. Their fridges and freezers are stocked with a variety of meat, from steaks to pork and lamb to sausages, veal, buffalo, etc. Some of it is frozen, some isn’t. Their pre-marinated tips are pretty good, and convenient. They do larger cuts of meat, if you ask, full hams, lamb, ribs, and so forth.

I work right next to Meat Again, so I often go here for a sandwich if I forget to pack lunch. They have a great variety of meat, including deli meat, pre-marinated things, or other fresh/frozen options. You can’t really go wrong with their sandwiches since they’re custom ordered, so I’d definitely recommend this place. However, I’ve gotten their soup on several occasions, and have been disappointed every time. Their chili is very basic, and their broccoli cheddar(or broccoli chicken?) was a bit gross, for lack of a better term. Otherwise, the service is great, the meat is good, and their variety is pretty decent!

Staple, go-to stop for surrounding office drones and tradesmen on lunch break. Basic sandwich selections made to order as well as common sides: chips, slaw, etc. Reliable but limited selection of butchered meats: steak tips, rib eye, Delmonico, and fillets. Marinated chicken breasts and steak tips if you’re looking for something quick to throw on the BBQ. Hard working crew behind the counter.

First, let’s do the cons: They have a ton of marinated meats available you can grill at home, lots of variety in both meat and marinade flavor. But they don’t have a grill themselves, so it’s a tease. They make sandwiches there and I just want to tear into a steak tip sub with some fresh veggies and I can’t. Their meat is also very expensive and the first ingredient on most of the marinades is High Fructose Corn Syrup, which doesn’t really get me jazzed up to try them.(And it probably means they aren’t making the marinades themselves?) However, the sandwiches they do make are delicious. They have quality cold cuts, fresh veggies and awesome bread. Their NY-style roll is actually pretty authentic, nice and crispy on the outside and soft and chewy in the middle. They have a good selection of beverages and chips, tasty salads and the prices are pretty reasonable. There is no inside seating but they have 3 picnic tables outside if the weather is nice and you don’t mind sitting about 15 yards from 110. They also sell K-Cups for your single-serve coffee machine and pice them at 24 for $ 14 — make your own variety bag. That’s a little more than they are in other stores but it’s worth it to pick your own flavors. This is a staple sandwich place for me. I’d give it 4 stars for the deli counter, –1 for the meats. I admit I haven’t tried them, but at those prices and with HFCS, I probably won’t.

Definitely good food — haven’t tried the marinated meats — but liked the cold cuts and other offerings while staying at the Residence Inn next door. Made walking to the market a breeze.

Just had my first visit, and I’m v. happy w/them. Since moving to the Acton area, I’ve been hunting casually for a good butcher, and I think my search is over(for now) I purchased a 5 lb top sirloin roast(I’m making a yummy italian-style roast beef tomorrow), and the process & prices were amiable. On top of that, they sell fenway franks. So I’m going to have to pick up some of those some time. …cause I like ‘em.

I’ve been here about 4 times, always to purchase steak, chicken and/or turkey tips for grilling. Hands down some of the best marinated meats I’ve ever had — every single type(beef, chicken & turkey) all tasted fantastic when simply grilled. There is a huge selection of various types and flavors all sealed tightly in bags that you can just pick up and grab from refrigerator cases. Dropped in a cooler in your car the packaging is sufficient for a long drive up into Maine etc. or some other destination. This is a «special grilling occasion» place for us because the marinated meats are somewhat spendy. I think the bags are in the $ 8 – 12 range for a pound or so of tips and you never leave the store with just one bag. We usually get 3 – 4 types to try and sometimes double up on meats we know we like so the price gets high pretty quickly. Worth it though for special occasions or if you have to impress inlaws or visitors!

The marinated meats are excellent!!! Just be leary if you order a sandwich. They have a great variety but when I asked for a Cuban Sandwich the boys behind the counter gave me a blank stare. They walked slowly into the back and started a discussion. I could see them going back and worth not knowing what to do. I should have said forget it but I try so hard to be optimistic. Finally one of them grabbed the menu to see what was in it. Then they only pressed it for like a minute so the cheese wasn’t even melted. I brought it home and had to open the sandwich and rearrange everything in it and add mustard… I had to throw it in my foreman grill to re-press it! The indgredients tasted great but man, that was a lot of work. I know times are tough and good help is hard to find, but if you can’t make a relatively simple sandwich, take it off the menu. I’ll go back for the marinated stuff and maybe when I’m not so annoyed I’ll give the sandwiches another try.

This is a staple place for me to purchase pre-marinated meats, such as steak tips, chicken, pork. They also sell lamb, cornish game hen, very nice(frozen) hamburger patties. They have a delicatessen counter offering Boars Head brand deli and makes sandwiches to order. You can get soup they make on the premises and various kinds of salads. The butcher shop is right in front of the Marriott Residence Inn, so I think that’s half of their customers.
