As I was getting my first manicure here I observed used instruments coming out of manicurists drawer rather than sterilized envelope. Aren’t there laws about autoclaving or sterilizing tools?

Went here not even 24 hours ago for a gel polish and pedicure. 3 of my gel nails have already chipped– some half the polish has already come off. Got them done for an occasion this weekend and now I have to go find somewhere else to re-​do them sometime while traveling… and drop another $ 20 or so… Huge waste of money and time!!! And on my toes, she went way over my nails.
Prices were somewhat expensive compared to others in the area too.

I’ve gotten my manicure done at Tropical Tanning and Nails 3 times. I haven’t been disapointed. They have availability to get a Saturday appointment and the gelish manicure is awesome and really lasts for 2 weeks. I’m a tough critic in finding a place to get my nails done and having tried many places in the area I’m glad to have finally found a place close to home!

This is my favorite local nail place. I started going here when I moved to the area based on the last review. My nails always come out nice, they have a bunch of magazines, and usually there is a cheesy chick flick playing that I love!
Susan is my favorite. The only thing that stinks is they aren’t open on Sundays.

Could not disagree more with the previous reviewer!
I have been going here for manicures and, mainly, pedicures almost exclusively since it opened. I have never had a hard time with communication and my pedicure stays fresh for 6 – 8 weeks– almost double the time that my (3 times the price) Elizabeth Grady pedicure lasted.
Usually the movies aren’t the best, but they have a huge magazine selection, accomodating and sweet nail techs and I’ve never felt like the location was anything less than sparkling clean (which is clearly my most important criterion).
Takes appts and walk-​ins– Judie’s my favorite.

Communication is high up there on the list of priorities as far as my nails are concerned. this is the last place i would ever go again. I was out of town on a Saturday and it seemed to be a good idea to begin with. They had crappy magazines and crappy movies playing, but the lady cut my toenail down so much it hurt and didn’t even apologize though she knew she had done it and looked directly at me after having done so. Not only that, but the polish was screwed up too.
