Oceanbleu

I recently attended a wedding here and stayed the night as well. I guess because of the location I was expecting spectacular. I came away with very mixed feelings. It began with check in. We were given a discount rate given to all wedding guests and were directed to go across the street, through the parking lot to a row of rooms adjacent to the tennis courts. There were about 20 rooms arranged barrack style with the look of temporary housing. Once inside we were met with a very sparse room which had a queen size bed, small dresser, closet with two hangers, and very low lighting. The bathroom was small but clean. The sheets had a small rip in them but again seemed clean. When we arrived there was only one other car parked. No other wedding guests were given these accommodations we later found out. We did call the front desk to inquire about changing our room to the main hotel, but were told it would cost over $ 100.00 more. We had already paid $ 319.00 for this room and were not interested in paying more. This was especially true when we later spoke to other guests who, were not very impressed with their rooms. Mind you this was at 5:00PM on a horrible weather weekend in October. Who did they think would be showing up last minute? So, when it came time to meet in the main hotel for the wedding itself, we drove to the front of the parking lot rather than take that long walk in the drizzle.
Once the wedding began we did have a good time. The cocktail hour and dinner meal were delicious with many choices… all cooked well. As the hotel itself does not have a restaurant or bar, I am not sure if it was an outside caterer or not. I gave a three star rating on the wedding and location, but I would not stay overnight at this hotel again… it was a two star at best. We were given the choice of two other hotels with shuttle service to the wedding and that would be our choice if we ever had another event here.

My wife and I attended a wedding here and couldn’t have been happier! Everything was great, apps, ambiance, etc, but the real treat was the amazing service and attentiveness given to us by all of the staff, especially from William!
We have very specific dietary restrictions (gluten, etc), and not only did William personally speak to us to confirm our needs, but he met us, with his staff, during the event. We were continually attended to by the staff and William, and were so amazed to finally have someone show some care and concern for what is usually a diet that restricts us and is ignored by other establishments! We enjoyed the night, enjoyed the specially perpared food, and loved the time we spent at Oceanbleu!

I went to a wedding here and for being in the hamptons it should have been much better. The location is fantastic and the food was wonderful. The staff was rude, the venue was hot inside the reception, they could have cared less that we were there. It was like we inconvenienced them.

Love this place, one wedding at a time. William will take care of you, he’s the best!

My sister wanted a Hampton Beach wedding. And at Oceanbleu, she got one. The staff here were great and the food was delicious. They made it a very pleasant experience while we were there.
I’m not sure about planning an event here, as this was my sister’s wedding and not my own. But everything seemed seamless. And the venue was beautiful.
