Not only is Beach Bakery a charming place to get a delicious treat in Westhampton Beach, but… their wedding cakes, desserts, and party favors are phenomenal! After our reception, I asked where the left over desserts were, and was told«there weren’t any!» We had a garden party wedding in Westhampton Friday night, and a cocktail reception in Williamsburg(Brooklyn) Saturday night, and Simon baked desserts galore! So, thanks Simon, for making both parties super sweeeet!!!

A find in the Hamps. Not many bakery’s like this anymore anywhere. It gets just too crowded with the summer folk that locals can’t wait for Labor Day to get here fast enough.

Great food here, and is bit annoying with the city people there in the summer with there«Music nights» or something but is good.

Really nice local establishment. I have been going here for the last 9 years and saw when it was renovated and expended. The place is always busy and absolutely packed on weekend. We usually get pastries and several times are their lunch and breakfast. It’s good an not over priced. Really love this place.

Nice bakery open year round. Very inexpensive and food is always fresh. They serve breakfast and lunch and it’s a favorite hang out place for locals.

A fine stop after our seal beach walk, the pastries were good, but coffee and hot chocolate were meh. The café is large and has indoor and outdoor seating, a small fire place and a variety of magazines to peruse. There is a luncheonette within as well as a nice cake display that did look delicious!

Mediocre bakery on Main St in Westhampton Beach has a fairly wide variety of pastries and breads, coffee and tea also doubles as a luncheonette. Since it was freezing out, had a hot chocolate which was gross. Tasted like cheap store bought powder with hot water. Not at all creamy or chocolaty. Red velvet cupcake was small and not very flavorful. Strawberry tart was large but a bit bland. $ 12 for two pastries and two watery hot chocolates which isn’t bad but the quality could stand to improve. The counter staff were nice though. Also, tables should be wiped down once in a while, they were rather dirty. Also, the wifi barely works. Don’t think I’ll be returning nor do I recommend it.

The beach bakery has all the baked goods you can want. It was very quiet inside when I walked in but that can be expected as it was during the fall and not the summer months in this very cozy town. This is a rather large bakery that has a lot of seating and smells delicious. I got a sesame seed roll and a black and white cookie with peppermint tea. The young kids who took my order were very friendly and quick to get me my food. When I took a seat I went right for the sesame seed roll which was so flaky and delicious. It was like a wow moment I did not expect it to be that good. I actually got another one for the road. Then the black and white cookie which is my all time favorite treat and they do it perfectly. It was soft and the chocolate and vanilla sides were both delicious and melted in your mouth with every bite. Yum! This place is being bookmarked and I will be back here. In short: — Great Bakery — Tasty Treats — Friendly Staff

Oh man this was a wait! I grew frustrated waiting for breakfast in a Sunday morning at 9am. It was a 25 min wait but it seemed to take 40 min. I overheard the cashier tell people at 10am that the wait for food was 1 hour long. Screw that. I’ll go somewhere else. It’s not like there a huge selection anyway. The ranchero omelet I had was very good though but I get nasty when I’m hungry so no I won’t be coming here for breakfast because I’m not waiting that long again. It has outside seating with music as well. So it’s a nice place… if you like to wait. :-).

Simon’s Beach Bakery is worth the drive from wherever you are. So much so, that I used to frequent the bakery every single day when working in WHB the past two Summers. I’m not a WHB girl, but a Southampton girl. That being said, I still drive to The Beach Bakery for all celebratory cakes, and dessert accoutrement regardless of the occasion or time of year. To start, the coffee is quite fine, but trust me, get the Raspberry Iced Tea. This iced tea does not only have fresh pieces of raspberry in the drink itself, but fresh mint as well. It is more than refreshing, it is divine. While I am not much of a dessert person, the mocha cake is absolutely amaaaazing. It is my go to birthday cake, and trust me, everyone has loved this cake and now it has become somewhat of a thing amongst my circle. The B&W cookies, tarts, lemon squares, angel wings, and of course, the cult classic fried jelly stuffed croissant never disappoint. That croissant, whenever I am in WHB, is a requested item from my dear significant other. It might as well be made of fairy dust as far as he is concerned; especially if it is still warm by the time he eats it. As far as the food, they just started serving it last Summer and it is a work in progress. The salads and sandwiches are quite standard, and the gentleman making them are absolute sweethearts, and will abide by any request to make you and your tummy satisfied. Since the bakery’s renovation, there is far more seating, and nice music in the evenings. It is a lively, bustling place, so expect a wait(usually not much first, first, first thing in the am). As well, depending on who is serving you, understand that most of them are high school kids working for the Summer, so it may not be the best service, but who cares?! The product itself and knowing you are supporting a local business and dare I say institution should be enough in itself. Go! Taste, try, and experience the wonder of The Beach Bakery.

Breakfast here over Memorial Day weekend. As would be expected this place was very busy. Line was not long but consistent. They seem to have everything under control. My wife and I both had three eggs, home fries and grilled veggies. Oh yes fresh fruit also. $ 9 bucks each. A deal you ant beat with a stick. Definitely 5 stars. I will definitely go there again and recommend that you go. But this place is so good and busy if we don’t go they’ll be just fine

Fresh! Went there on a Monday in May at 11:30am. Big place! Bakery/Café. Still serving breakfast until noon. About 10 tables inside and about 10 tables outside. Ordered the challah bread French toast w/fruit compost. Excellent! Not soggy, not sweet. Good portion. My friend ordered the smoked salmon omelet. Excellent! They certainly fill up the omelet. Even the side order of fresh fruit was fresh! The homemade raspberry ice tea was good! Not sweet. We decided to buy some things from the bakery section on our way out. They sell pies by the slice. They raspberry/peach pie a little soggy. Chocolate macaroons fresh! Fried raspberry croissant excellent! The apples in the apple tart/pastry could have cooked 2 minutes longer — a little hard. We will definitely return to try more bakery items and try the lunch.

Had a really awesome soup here. And some great croissants. This place felt like the light at the end of the tunnel, since nothing else in the area is open during the winter.

Place seemed cool. But, the wait was long because no one really took the time to come to me and actually ask me if i needed help: shitty service. When i got someone to take my order it was good but then when the coffee came… No goodie good good!!! The coffee… No good :( Me not happy. Me thinks this place is poop. Idk why i even came here in the first place.

This place is nice! They have a pretty interior and I didn’t have to wait too long to get the baked goods that I purchased. I got a bunch of cookies and a cinnamon roll, and they were tasty. I wouldn’t say that it was the best baked goods that I’ve ever had, but certainly good enough that I would eat there again. I can’t attest to the sandwiches or pizza, so no opinion on that. All and all a nice little shop.

The Beach Bakery is a pretty expansive establishment full of some delicious looking items. Some people may wander in here, though, and practice a lookie no touchie policy because they’re a bit overpriced for my liking. I stopped in here during work to grab myself some lunch. I ordered a sandwich that was, I’ll admit, very fresh. Regardless, I have had better sandwiches from cheaper restaurants/delis/bakeries, so I can’t say that my money was well spent here. The man who made my sandwich was incredibly pleasant, and it seemed as if he may have been the owner. I appreciate his enjoyment of the job, but I wouldn’t necessarily return if I were in the area.

Simon the Baker makes bread. He does it near the beach. Thus, the name. Simon has been baking near the beach a long time, and I am grateful he has. His stuff is good. Good enough that his cakes have been on my table for all my kid’s birthdays. Good enough that when I make my morning run into town, he’s the first stop. Good enough that I am willing to stand on line. And there’s always a line. Listen: I know from bread. This is good. ALL his stuff is good. Go here. Enough already.

Dear Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli, I watched the Food Network’s «The Best Thing I Ever Ate» and said myself. Self? Lets get some of that Pie! Now the the Peach Raspberry Crumb Pie was pretty good. The extra star I gave it was for the $ 16 it cost for a fresh fruit pie in Westhampton Beach. I’m missing the crunch part? The young counter person said to heat this sucka @ 350 for 15 minutes. So I pop the pie in the preheated oven. And I wait. And I dream. And I think of that crunch with the ice cream I’m gonna top it with, all warm and pie sexy. It comes out, and there is no buncha cruncha muncha? I mean how can a pie be bad but The BEST you ever ate? May I take you to Little Pie Company in our NYC for a comparison? I like this place but they don’t sell slices of pie :/
