My wife booked me a Reiki session at the West LA location. (I had no idea what Reiki was. And honestly, I’m still not sure how it all works.)
It was the COOLEST THING EVER.
So what happens?
The first thing were these INTENSE visuals — different colors, nature scenes, places I’d never been. (The weirdest one was this little girl weaving some kind of cloth at a big wooden contraption.)
Anyway, then I start feeling these incredible pressure on my forehead. Like there’s this energy pushing down on it. And then it happens inside my sinuses.
Electric shocks swirl around my right knee, my stomach, and my upper back.
My head and arms start moving on their own. (I know, total Exorcist-​type stuff, right?)
Unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Unreal.
