I love this place. I get great customer service which is rare these days. I can not come for weeks and they remember my name and order. Can’t get any better than that!

Walked in for the first time. Had the health nut with dates. Amazing! I’m a smoothie nut so this place has been added to my faves. Staff was cheerful and friendly, prices are reflective of the quality and taste. Highly recommend!!!

I just had the greatest drink made by a young lady named Marissa. I called up and tried to explain what Lori Ann blends for me in the morning (she is also terrific), Marissa was friendly and when I got there my drink was ready and fantastic!

Solid solid acai banana berry bowl. Good balance of ingredients and the right consistency for the acai, highly recommend!

Second time here and another satisfied trip. I decided to try the Popeyes Acai, and was not disappointed. Sure it looks a little funky, but tastes like heaven. It’s a small space but they work well with what they have and I will definitely continue to stop by here for a refreshing smoothie on these warm California days.

Honestly this place has just gone down since it opened. Used to come here and staff was friendly and now this week I came in the manager was rude and grumpy to me and the staff was on their phones. My bowl was watery and gross I probably won’t come back here ever again. This place won’t last long.

I usually make my own smoothies at home, but was looking for a local smoothie and juice bar where I could grab something quick on the way to work one day. I saw Nektar on Unilocal and decided to give it a try.
My first experience here was great! I was assisted by a very friendly staff member named Miranda. She and I had a lovely conversation while my smoothie was being made, and I left in good spirits. It’s really refreshing to have a genuinely pleasant customer service experience, especially with young people (& I’m only 25 myself). All too often I find that younger people working in customer service in this area don’t go out of their way to be friendly or helpful, but that wasn’t the case here at all!
On top of that, my smoothie was delicious! Not too sweet, which is something I typically dislike about many other smoothie places I’ve been to. I will definitely be returning :)

Very disappointed, wanted to love this place. Called my smoothie in ahead of time, so it would be ready to pick it up and head off to work. 10 – 15 minutes after calling my order in, I arrive at the store and two girls are sitting down at the register on their phones. Then one of the girls (supervisor I think) says «oh we’ll start making it now». I should have left at this point, I called in my order for a reason-​so I wouldn’t waste time standing there waiting for it! And it annoyed me that the staff were on their phones instead of making my drink. So after I order and pay, the girl takes out her phone which created an extremely uncomfortable and unfriendly environment. After handing me the drink, I NEVER got a «thank you!», «enjoy!», or «bye!» The girl was still standing there on her phone texting. Very disappointed in the customer service :(

Updating my review since Ava from Nekter replied and followed thru. So I finally did try a smoothie. I got the berry banana burst (suggested for first time guests). It was good but not something I’d go there specifically for. More like if I was going to TJ’s or Western Bagels I’d head over there to grab a drink. Though maybe I’ll like some of their other flavors more. And I do want to try some of their bowls.

First, I didn’t actually try anything here, but after this Sunday, I’ll go any other place than here. So I moved to the area about a month ago and get a flyer in the mail for a free smoothie (with some other coupons for this place) specifically for this location. I actually never get around to using that one, but get another of the same flyer maybe a week or two ago. So I think, ok, I should try this place out since they’re literally giving them away (and I checked Unilocal reviews and looked good… Could end up going regularly if it’s yummy). So I make it there this past Sunday and the girl at the counter tells me oh, we don’t accept the coupons anymore because corporate changed their policy or something. What? Talk about bait and switch…

Popeye’s acai smoothie at 16 oz was delicious. Felt full after drinking the entire portion and only $ 5.05. Was able to get my drink for free courtesy of the neighborhood coupon mailer! :)

I had never been to this place before so I thought I’d try it out and I loved it!
There were three young women working when I came in and I asked them a couple questions about their products and they all helped me out so much!
I will definitely be coming in weekly.

I’ve been here a couple times now and I really enjoy this place. Right when you walk in you are immersed by an aroma of fresh vegetables and fruit. My favorite thing to get here is the grab and go drinks, particularly the protein smoothie. I would recommend the freshly made smoothie called Popeye’s acai, it’s amazing! Also, the employees are extremely friendly here. Double thumbs up, I’ll be back!

I love their drinks but they scam their customers by having them get a card stamped 10 times (one per drink purchase), then when you try to redeem it they say «sorry, we use a mobile app now so we can’t accept those.»
What a joke! What does an app have to do with a program you had in place before your app program existed?
There was another woman behind me that also had planned to use her card to redeem her free drink. «Sorry.»
Horrible customer service! I guess I’ll spend my money at SunLife, Whole Foods, Juice It Up and the numerous other juice spots popping up everywhere.

My new favorite juice bar! Delicious options and a new app that you can pre order from and drop into the store to pick up. No waiting is perfect for my busy lifestyle! If you do order in store, there’s a Trader Joe’s next store so you can get your shopping done while you wait. Juice is never cheap, but nektar is more affordable than other juice places.

I came here a few days ago for the first time while on a walk with my babes in the stroller. The guy behind the counter was very excited to working & you could tell he was very passionate about juice. I asked for his recommendation and he tweaked one of their classic drinks for me.
It’s was super delicious!
I am used to paying $ 10-​$ 12 for a juice & their small is only $ 5.50 … Score!
I will definitely be making this my new juice bar.

My Make-​Your-​Own (kale, spinach, parsley in a cucumber base) was good. Not organic but tasted pretty much the same. Small store. No one was there early on a Sunday but wondering how they manage the lunch time rush with one register and not much space. The bowls look fantastic. Next Sunday…

Jason is a kick as manager and his personality can always brighten your day. The rest of the staff is also awesome and they’ve improved the speed of service immensely since opening day. Be prepared when you walk in, they all yell hi welcome! when you walk in, it really starts your visit with an awesome energy. Love the juices and the people!

I came here one day, because I was under the weather and they recommended The greens to help fight the bug. The greens contained parsley, kale, celery, cucumber and ginger. It was about $ 8 for a large drink. It was surprisingly a refreshing drink. I don’t know if it was a coincidence, but I felt much, much better within a few days after drinking The Greens. This is a small juice bar and they don’t have seating inside, so it’s to-​go only. They also have acai bowls, smoothies, and a cleanse program, but that’s really pricey.
*Don’t forget to ask for a punch card, if you plan on being a frequent customer to earn a free drink. *
