I contacted this business through Unilocal to request a quote. Mitch, the business owner, was quick to get back to me, and very quick to meet with me to pick up my photos. Quick turn around time as well.
I scanned some of my wedding photos on my own on a home scanner, and the difference in quality really is remarkable. The photos Plessner scanned came out as beautiful as the original. Fantastic.

I work for a local Historical Society, and we have just completed a project where we needed to digitize a large quantity of media. We used Plessner Digital to digitize close to 3,000 slides and 42 VHS tapes into digital files. Mitch was professional, organized, and very quick. The files he digitized look great. Just last week I asked him to try and digitized a vinyl record that I thought would be too damaged to do… but he was able to do it! We will be needing more material digitized in the future, and we will definitely contact Plessner Digital again.

I knew I wouldn’t be able to give a speech at my mother’s memorial service earlier this year but I wanted to contribute somehow. That’s where Mitch came in. I picked out three of my mom’s favorite songs and gathered about 90 photos – mostly physical which were scanned beautifully – spanning her life. He was able to spin those elements into a moving memorial video. It looked amazing and the pacing was spot on. I received so many compliments after the service – it truly affected people. We were able to give copies on DVD to our extended family and I know it helped my dad especially in his grieving process. During a difficult time, Mitch was sensitive, professional, flexible, and quick.

Based on Unilocal recommendations, I went to Mitch to transfer an old ¼″ audio reel to reel tape to digital. I liked the fact that he was local. We met, he gave me a quote, I gave him the tape and it was done in a couple of days. Mitch is professional and great to work with.

I had less than 48 hours to find someone to put over 200 photographs of varying size/quality into some type of presentable format for my mother’s funeral. Not only did Mitch pull it off but he produced that product in SEVERAL different formats that allowed for flexible sharing. The finished product was excellent. It was heartening to watch and hear everyone’s reaction to his work. As if that wasn’t enough, Mitch was professional, compassionate and communicated with us thoroughly and respectfully! He could have taken advantage of us by jacking his prices up knowing how desperate we were, but he didn’t. If you’re looking for someone to entrust your most treasured pictorial memories with, you seriously need not look any further!

Mitch was fantastic: professional, affordable, and speedy. We had over a hundred old photos we needed scanned, along with a reel-to-reel we wanted converted to MP3. Mitch came to our house to pick them up and gave us a price estimate down to the penny. He turned it around in just a few days when other digital services we looked at would take a month. He gave us 600 dpi photos at our request. When the price estimate changed slightly (because we had more photos than I’d thought I’d counted), he promptly emailed with an update. And he came back to our house to drop them off. It was a great service for what could be a painful, time-consuming, costly experience. Thanks!
