My husband and I were looking for something to do with our children that would allow us to interact and connect in a positive way. The movies? We sit for two hours and we don’t talk to each other. Nah. We wanted to engage with our little ones in a different way. So we decided to go to family yoga. Kids were reluctant. We walked in and immediately we all were welcomed. Ritu, the instructor, is amazing. The instructor encouraged all the kids to share postures with the class. My son and daughter shared a posture with the class. It was a great experience to connect with my family, get in some exercise, be free from cell phones, the television, and video games. My son, 6 years old, who cried not to go, can’t wait to go back. Needless to say, my family and I really enjoyed the experience. We interacted, enjoyed each other, enjoyed the class and left there feeling great.

Oh my goodness, where do I begin?! I have been an athlete most of my life(playing basketball) and have always had the passion and desire to go hard or not workout at all. I never really did yoga because I felt like I never truly got a workout, and that I could easily do that stretching at home. I’ve tried yoga at other studios, because I know stretching is good for you, but it never really lit my fire and I didn’t feel that sense of community. I have been going to Samadi Yoga for awhile now, and let me tell you what this place is all about. If you love an environment that is clean, warm, loving, and community driven then this place has got it! I love all of the instructors, and they are highly trained and super friendly. Yes, the yoga is done in a hot room for an hour and a half. Is it impossible? Far from it. It’s actually one of the most amazing experiences that I’ve ever done as an athlete! My back and knees(which used to hurt all the time) don’t hurt ATALL anymore! I am able to do things that I never knew my body could do, while using the correct form shown to me by the instructors. Mahnaz and Tori are the instructors who I’ve come to know and love at this studio, and they have taught me how to bring out the better parts of myself! Through their support, encouragement, and humor at the studio I feel a part of a wonderful yoga family :) Come to a few classes, ask questions, and don’t be afraid of the heat… it’s really quite relaxing and uplifting! It’s also super detoxifying so I always have an insane amount of energy afterwards. Love, love, love this studio!

This place was handcrafted by a true perfectionist. In my own line of work I strive to be the absolute best. So when I see a business as astounding as this one; I’m not only moved personally, but professionally. It’s genius in motion. To see that someone had enough passion, for there chosen art form, to take it above and beyond there competitors. This place has ruined every other Bikram/Hot Yoga Studio for me. I’ve been to a handful of studios; and this one stands alone! Mahnaz is by far the best instructor I’ve ever had. And I’m not saying that because she’s really sweet and personable to everyone. She is. Just like her other instructors. She seamlessly walks you through the poses. She keeps reminding you, which muscles to activate and contract. Making, in my opinion, the workout, and experience as a whole 100X more valuable and effective. And she doesn’t skip a beat. Tori, Shinina, Zoe, & Kellie are all flat out amazing. Each one unique, and awesome in there own way. So definitely check there classes out. They all really know and love what they do, and the passion you feel radiating off these people is contagious. If you’ve heard of, or realized the life enhancing benefits of Bikram/Hot Yoga. You need to upgrade and send yourself here. Classes as early as 6:30am. All of the staff are true professionals.

This place is AMAZING! If you’re looking for an awesome yoga experience then this is the place to come. It is a hot yoga studio that offers an array of class types. It started out as just a Bikram studio but it’s now so much more. Mahnaz the owner is unbelievably smart, runs a fantastic studio and as a yogi is totally inspirational. Not to mention what a kind and generous person she is. All the teachers are very experienced and compassionate people who will help you with your practice. The studio itself is really clean and looks just like you would like your yoga studio to. And the room is definitely heated but it’s not insanely/dangerously hot as I have felt in other studios. Come and take a class, you will be happy you did. Namaste!

Love, love, love this studio. I came a couple of years back prepping for my wedding when they were still part of the former famous Hot Yoga brand, but the two classes I’ve taken so far have been amazing. I’ve had Mahnaz(I think she’s the owner) for both classes: one a hot vinyasa(not hot hot, but still hot) and it kicked my butt. She worked with me as I’m 5 months post shoulder surgery(SLAP tear, torn rotator cuff and biceps tenodesis. good times). She helped me modify and coached me on how best to do the upper body/down dog poses in a way that will help me heal. She’s encouraging and lets everyone know how to adjust to ensure they’re aligned and not injuring themselves, and she takes questions after class which I appreciate. I’ve also had her for the 90 minute beginning yoga series. Very much like Bikram(which I love) but BETTER. Poses have some modifications and I like the quickness to parts of the standing series that are different than the studio I go to at home in SF. Clean studio, and the other instructors I’ve had in the past(and enjoyed, like Misty) are here since the rebrand. Will definitely continue coming to this studio when I’m out here for work or visiting fam.

If you’re looking for a positive, inspiring studio that will help you grow and achieve your own personal goals, look no further. I have been a member of this studio for a year now and it has transformed my life. I’m not sure if the other bad reviews are from fake reviewers or what but I know my experience has not been anything like theirs(and it hasn’t for all my friends who go to this studio as well). It is very customary for the instructor to talk during any hot yoga class — and I’ve been to a lot of studios as I travel quite frequently and try to keep up on my practice. This studio is clean, upscale, consistent with instruction, and a great addition to your meditative practice and whole body healing routine(for those mod you with sports injuries). Sure they make announcements during class… but it’s to get you interested in other types of classes and expand your horizons. Many students have packages and these are all included in their membership so they’re not«upselling» anything. There is a sense of community in this studio and everyone gets to know each other. It’s really incredible. Happy people with happy lives. Clearly some of these negative reviewers aren’t quite happy people.

This is a great studio with great instruction. I felt amazing after class. I loved the explanations of why we were doing each pose and what it helped. I felt the instructor(and owner) did a great job both correcting postures and complimenting. I felt she was genuine in both and not just correcting or complimenting to do it. I actually appreciated the informative«ads» as others called them. She let us know about a great nutritionist coming to the studio that works with food allergies. She also mentioned family yoga. Both things I’m interested in trying and both things I would never have known otherwise. I recommend it to anyone. It’s a high quality class in a beautiful, clean studio. Can’t go wrong!

I have not experienced the same issues that other people have written about Samadi Yoga. My experience at this studio has always been positive and uplifting. I’ve taken classes with Mahnaz, Erin and Loretta. They are all friendly, encouraging and helpful. The studio is clean and well-run. The classes start and end on time. I struggle through many of the poses, but I’ve never been treated with anything but encouragement and acceptance. I’ve never felt like I didn’t belong there or I wasn’t «cool» enough. Who cares anyway what other people think? I’m there to practice yoga, with the emphasis on practice — not win a popularity contest. The only reason I don’t give Samadi Yoga 5 stars is because of the intense heat and humidity in the room. Yes, I know the room is supposed to be hot, but sometimes, it’s just too much for me. All in all, it’s a great workout taught by professionals in a beautiful studio. It doesn’t get any better than that.

This yoga studio is top notch. I started a month ago as a complete beginner in Bikram Yoga(they were Bikram Yoga Westlake Village, but just recently evolved into Samadi Yoga). Let me tell you I was torn between this studio and Bikram Yoga Agoura(the latter is so much closer to where I live) — however, I had heard good things about Samadi and…(drum roll please) it is almost like they have an in house groupon. So, if you are like me and wanted to try something new or already established in the practice and wanted to try other studios… at the very least do their new student deal. It is 10 classes within 30 days for $ 89. That’s about nine dollars a class and completely worth it. The studio is zen, aesthetically amazing, clean, and smells nice(which let me tell you… you will sweat out every toxin you have ever ingested or been around in your life, so saying it smells nice means something). Why do I know this studio is really great? I tried out the Agoura one with a friend a couple weeks into my membership at Samadi. I’m sure Agoura has great things going for it… it does a have a following, but the cleanliness factor alone… eeekkk. Also, the teachers from Samadi are so knowledgeable and inspiring. The owner especially, is warm, welcoming, and a kick ass yoga instructor as well as student(watching her doing asanas is like looking at art). In fact, every teacher — Erin — know what they are talking about. Such a great experience. So happy they are venturing into new waters with changing their name and offering MORE classes…(hot Vinyasa people!!!). Plus, I hear they are having speakers and just more to get our brains going. Really really love and admire what they are doing. Namaste!!!
