Westlake Village Urgent Care

This is the best place for sports physicals and more. The staff is friendly and courteous. Not to mention personable.

Friendly front desk and clean reception area. Very professional, caring and kind. I’m glad i drove here.

Walking into Westlake Village Urgent Care, I was immediately greeted by the friendly front desk staff. I checked in on the sign-​in sheet, and was promptly taken back by the Medical Assistant, who took my vitals and got me set up in a room to see the doctor. The timing was very efficient, I did not have to wait long at all!
Dr. Devgan and her colleagues provided me with the highest quality of care, in the most respectful and professional way possible. My condition and treatment plan were explained to me in full depth, and all my questions were answered with due diligence and patience.
Conveniently, the antibiotic I needed was available for purchase in the office, saving me a trip to the pharmacy! However, Dr. Devgan kindly informed me that she would gladly fax in the prescription to my pharmacy upon my request.
I left Westlake Village Urgent Care not only feeling better about my health, but also feeling genuinely cared for.
After a day or two, I received a call from Dr. Devgan, who thoroughly reviewed my lab results with me. She really took the time and effort to give me a call, and that resonated with me! I really appreciated the follow-​up and will definitely visit Westlake Village Urgent Care again in the future! :)

I would give this business zero star. The front desk clerk was nasty. The people at this business seems indifferent toward the patients. I left after 10 minutes and headed to another urgent care on Thousand Oaks Blvd.

They are so kind and hard working. Dr. Sonia Devgan-​Kacker is a kind, helpful dr. I’m a Workers Comp. patient and they have been very diligent with my case.

I took my husband in and very serious condition. Dr. Sonia Devgan took great care and followed up with my husband. Incredible and grateful to this doctor. He received the best care, and the staff was very nice.

I remembered why I don’t like coming here. The bedside manner of people here isn’t great, no one here seems to like their jobs, at least they don’t act like it.
I was the second person here and for that matter only two of us were in the office for about 30+ minutes.
I didn’t get to see anyone for at least 40 minutes and then they saw me for about 10. They answered my questions and took care of the problem. It however seems a bit ridiculous that I had to wait that long.

So my wife’s insurance changed last month and I just got a new job, meaning that it would be changing again in a month. Not wanting to find a new doctor for a one time prescription refill I reached out to Westlake Village Urgent Care. I first called the place on Tuesday and explained my situation, upon asking if they have a doctor on duty they told me that they have a nurse practitioner.
At this point I specifically asked if she prescribed Adderal, since some nurse practitioners do not. I was told that she could prescribe any drugs needed if she deemed it necessary. I showed up on Saturday and clearly stated that my reason for the visit was an Adderal prescription. The form was reviewed by their reception staff and then again by one of their nurses when they took me back to the exam room.
After more than an hour waiting the nurse practitioner walked and told me that she does not prescribe Adderal (even though I brought in the bottles from the last few months to prove I’m prescribed Adderal regularly) and that one of the doctors o staff could prescribe me Adderal during the well. She offered no apology until she saw that I was visibly upset.
As a father of two, two month old girls anytime away is hard during the weekend. Seeing a doctor during the week is very hard and that’s why I chose to go to this urgent care. Considering all the effort I put forth to communicate my needs and their ability to fulfill them the urgent cares lack of communication or attention to detail is astounding.

I used to go to WLV Urgent Care a few years ago, and then got suckered into going to the UCLA docs when they seemed to take over the whole town. Now that everyone is going to the UCLA facilities around the county, it is impossible to get an appointment, unless you want to wait for a couple of months… so, back to Urgent Care of Westlake Village. I have always enjoyed having Dr. Sonia as my doctor, and was so happy to find she was still there… so, she is my doctor again. I went in on a weekday morning, and had less than a 10 minute wait. It was nice to meet Halley, who is a training student (I think).

The doctors were great. The staff were very friendly. I had to go there for a work physical and it was pretty quick. The office is clean. The receptionist offered me water when I was waiting. It was a positive experience.

The staff was kind and attentive, waiting room clean and stocked with plenty of magazines to read. I signed in and was seen VERY quickly after signing in.
The best part of the visit?
Dr. Sonia Devgan-​Kacker. She is by far the most caring, thorough and patient doctor. I’ve been to this Urgent care many times and I always breathe a sigh of relief when I get to see her. I know I’m being taken care of. :)

went in Saturday morning due to a possible broken or dislocated finger. It was dislocated badly where the two main bones were almost 3/​8″ apart. They fixed after a few tries, healing very fast so I am so glad I wnet to this office.

I’ve been to Westlake Village Urgent Care a few times. Last time was about 30 minutes before closing over the 4^th of July holiday. As with other visits, my wait time was very minimal. And thank goodness because I was in a lot of pain. The waiting room has a TV and is always clean. Technician was courteous while taking my vitals Dr. Sonia was great! Real easy to talk to. I ended up having a double ear infection. I opted to pick up my medication from my regular pharmacy and the staff kindly faxed my script to the pharmacy for me. At discharge, I realized I didn’t have my insurance card. Front staff said it was OK and that I can come back with my insurance card and they would reimburse me (minus any amount not covered by insurance company). Feeling much better, I went back a few days later with my insurance card. The girl at the front window made a copy and explained it would take 4 – 6 weeks for my reimbursement check to be issued.
While doing my insurance filing and November right around the corner, I realized I hadn’t received my check. I went back to the office with my paperwork and the girl at the window had a friendly greeting until I asked to speak with someone in billing. With attitude she called out for the accounting person to assist me… NOT COOL. I forgot the accounting persons name but she was very helpful and explained the breakdown of my refund. Unfortunately, she also explained it would take ANOTHER 4 – 6 weeks to get my check. I pleaded to please have it expedited. She said she would do what she could. It’s not a lot of money as their office visit charge is very reasonable. I just feel I shouldn’t have an additional wait time for an office oversight. I’m hoping the accounting person comes through for me. We shall see…

I am very happy with the service i received. I got injured at work and i was treated at this urgent care and i am very thankful for the way they treated me. All the staff are very polite and attended you in a timely manner.

I took my son to Westlake Village Urgent Care after he was injured in a field hockey accident. Dr. Devgan-​Kacker wasn’t supposed to be on duty, but had stopped by the office. When she saw that his xray indicated he had broken his arm, she remained to assist the on-​duty physician by making sure we found a local orthopedist who could set his arm.
They even called different orthopedist offices to find the one that accepted our insurance and then got us an emergency appointment within half an hour.
I couldn’t have asked for better care.

I came here a few days ago after having terrible stomach pain and nausea. The front office staff took one look at me and asked if I needed water or a vomit bag aha, it was very considerate.
After completing my paperwork I was taken to the back in a short time and had a young man quickly and efficiently take down my info and prepare me to see the doc.
The physician on staff was actually a Nurse Practitioner but this made no difference. The care was excellent.
They took urine and blood and called me back with the results when they said they would.
I’m now feeling better and happy I chose to visit this place

Waited an hour and a half to see the doctor for a dislocated finger on a Saturday morning. Receptionist completely uncaring, no info on projected wait time or we would have left and gone elsewhere. The doctor was fine, although having to wait so long made the the re-​set harder and more painful. The kicker is the bill, $ 216 after insurance. I took my daughter to ExER Urgent Care on Agoura in Calabasas for a fractured elbow a week later (tough couple weeks!). It took 15 minutes to get in, we got great, efficient care and it cost $ 200 less ($ 16 after insurance). Easy choice for next time!

Never, ever go to this place. Before the P. A entered our room, we heard comment
How he hopes this is it! When he looked at me (I had chest pains), he asked why I was there, because he can’t help me. He didn’t even want to listen to my heart.
He was so rude and arrogant. I got up and walked out, and proceeded to tell him how rude he was. He slammed down his chart and said, «I’m not rude». I cannot
Believe that this man actually is here to help us. I proceeded to go to Los Robles
Hospital, and they were wonderful!

I was feeling terrible while visiting family in the area and they recommended I try Westlake Village Urgent Care. After a very brief wait (especially compared to other urgent care offices) I was seen by the the MD, who was very caring and explained everything throughly. I had been wanting to try a vitamin B12 shot for a long time and they happened to have them there. The tech that administered the shot made it absolutely painless. I had a great experience here and I highly recommend it!

Being a busy mom, I had limited time to actually be the one sick and going to Westlake Village Urgent Care saved my week! I caught a sinus infection that just would not go away and needed a Z pack. This office is clean, fast and professional. Everyone was kind and helpful and I was able to get about my day without waiting hours to see a doctor. Also, Westlake Pharmacy is right across the parking lot so filling my prescription was a breeze! Thank you Westlake Village Urgent Care!
