Rabbit & Small Animal Rescue

The review from April V. Is on the money. We contacted Mary Beth about adopting a rabbit as well and were confronted with rude and argumentative comments from her immediately. Obviously we won’t be adopting a rabbit from this place. The address listed for this place appears to be a residence as well but I’m not sure. I would recommend doing a thorough screening of the conditions they live in as well possibly. I can’t speak to whether they are good/​bad though as I won’t be proceeding with an adoption however.

We tried to adopt a rabbit from the Rabbit & Small Animal Rescue by filling out their application. When they found out we wanted to keep it outside in a hutch and we had a child under 10 we immediately got rejected with a snotty email. When we questioned them on their reasoning as it didn’t seem logical to us they then proceeded to post our personal information on Facebook with the comment of «can’t fix stupid» and that we are bad parents. Since nowhere in the application does it state that the animals they adopt out must be kept inside I wonder if they do this so they can find people who don’t agree with them and bully them on social media. I was appalled that a place that calls itself a business would be this unprofessional especially one that relies on donations. I recommend looking at their Facebook page and you will see how inappropriate they treat people.
