Been coming here my whole life. Shes seen me since i was a little girl in 4^th grade– im in college now. Wonderful practice and a wonderful O.D. Very homey. As im typing this, im sitting in front of her practice to get new glasses. WOOHOOOO! YA GIRL GONE say bye to these contacts. (Sucks when u go home and you dont have glasses to snuggle in bed with so ur forced to wear your contacts again) adiós sad life. :-) anyway, i recommend this place!

Yay, I just discovered the optometrist I am going to stick with forever! I went to see Chau a little over a month ago. I’ve had a prescription of toric contact lenses for the past couple of years from another optometrist who has great reviews on Unilocal,but which have not really fit very well (one eye pretty much stays out of place); he was attentive in fitting, but just gave me that one prescription. Then I came to Chau, and, wow, she quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me a free trial pair, AND ordered several trial pairs with variations in the fit for me to try out, since she said one eye’s shape was outside the range that the manufacturer of my old lenses even offers, so harder to fit. Now I can really figure out the differences and pick lenses that will work best on me! I can test the focus near and far, as well as the stability for my astigmatism. I’ve been narrowing down the trial lenses for the last month and finding one or two are vast improvements over my old prescription! This is so great, so now when I purchase the whole year’s supply, I won’t be stuck with something that doesn’t work!
Nice, efficient office, no one is pushy or trying to hard sell, just finding out what you need..

I’ve been coming here since I was little. My whole family comes here and they never disappoint us. Not pushy like other optometry places I’ve heard from other people. Although selections are not that big they do carry the latest styles and brands such as ray ban, Dior, Gucci and etc.

I had a new prescription from Kaiser and I also had a brand new pair of frames which my mom got for me which I needed the lenses put in. Kaiser, being the asses which they are, told me that since it’s not their frame, they can’t guarantee that it won’t get scratched in the process. WTF??? The guy was just telling me all these scary things so I decided not to have them done there.
I asked around and a friend/​relative said he knew someone who could do it, so one afternoon, we went together to Dr Chau Nguyen. She is located in the same strip mall as Alerto’s off Westminster (near Hazard). It’s a small place and although the variety isn’t super extensive, she does carry brand named products such as Prada.
Dr Nguyen gave me my options of the type of lenses I could have on my frames. I chose the one I wanted. Within a week, my glasses were ready. Everything was done well and done on time. I just brought my old pair back for her to re-​lens with the new prescription.
If you’re looking for an efficient place to get your glasses, this is definitely a place I would recommend. My pal who brought me got his eyes tested there AND his frames and everything went smoothly as well.
