I’ve been coming to this location since we moved into our house over 10 years ago. I’ve had a few bad meals here & there, but they’ve always apologized & made the situation right. Their chips & salsa are not my favorite. Might be the chips. However, everything else is amazing. Only issue I have is with their menu. It always seems different & prices seem to keep going up & up. Maybe it’s my imagination;)

This place is gorgeous, beautiful interior, tastefully decorated, spacious seating areas, yadda-yadda-yadda…unfortunately, you can’t eat pretty. Went here w/my family for lunch on Birthday Week, ordered the guac which was tasty enough, but what’s with leaving the gigantic avocado pit in the bowl? OK, I get it, you’re saying how it’s freshly made and here’s the golf-ball sized seed to prove it. Thanks, but I can tell how fresh the guac is by appearance and taste, no pit necessary. Got the taco combination plate, two steak and one chicken, and an enchilada on the side. Chicken was bland beyond belief, and by the time I had finished it, I noticed that they hadn’t warmed up the corn tortilla in a little bit of oil to cook out the raw corn taste, so I just ate the steak filling of the other two tacos, also pretty bland. The enchilada was on a plate that had either been left under the salamander too long, or sat up in the window, because the sauce was baked into the plate until hard and dry. One of the supreme joys of eating an enchilada is scooping up some sauce with melted cheese in a chip and slurping it down like a Bluepoint oyster. Alas, it was not to be. Two other things: What is with the music in restaurants these days? I know they’re catering to a younger demographic, but c’mon! Mexican restaurant oughtta have a little bit of mariachi, or at least some Santana, for Pete’s sake. Loud, demanding and insistent modern disco Katy/Justin/Kongo auto-tuned crapola is counter to a relaxing restaurant vibe. The waitress(sorry, I’m not calling them«servers» anymore) was a very nice lady who did a good job, I don’t think she would actually let my enchilada sit up in the window, but since they used a food-runner, who knows? I’m calling for an immediate end to this practice. What is the point of tipping a waitress who takes your food order, knows who wanted what, and then have to play the guessing game when somebody else brings out the food?

Gluten«sensitive» menu with a decent selection. Dedicated prep area. Color coded plates for GF diners. This place«gets it». We had the applewood caritas tacos. Very tasty. Staff on the patio was hustling to keep up with the summer dinner crowd. We’ll be back soon!

I was staying in a hotel nearby for business over a month and came here several times for lunch and drinks. Steak fajitas are a generous portion very tasty and for the price it’s well worth it. Their hand made tortillas are great and freshly made margaritas also A+. I only tried the fajitas and Chile relleno my co-workers tried one of the salads and liked it. Cannot vouch for the other food but it was already packed so I assumed it was good.

If you like americanized Mexican food, this place is for you. Tex-Mex is nothing like true blue authentic Mexican food, so know that going into this place. The place is clean and large, it was kinda cool seeing the ladies making tortillas in the front area behind a glass window. A group of five of us came here after work one day(we are out of towners). They tout«from scratch» food… which appeared to be the case. Everything we ordered tasted good. The salsas are SUPER mild if you are used to real salsa. They server went on and on about their 8 chile caliente sauce and how it was fiery hot. I threw some on a chip and it barely phased me. I thought the Hatch sauce had more of a bite. Don’t get me wrong they were all tasty, but seemed toned down for the masses who probably don’t know what spicy really is. We ordered the Spicy Queso Blanco for the table which was really good(but not really that spicy) and I ordered the Garlic Shrimp Tacos which were really delicious. The portions are pretty hearty. Now, the reason I give this place three stars — and almost gave them two(shrimp tacos were so good, I cut them some slack): The service… TERRIBLE. The girl who served us seemed absolutely annoyed to be waiting on us from the second she walked up to the table. That continued until it was close to tip time and then she started being super nice. It was not only her attitude but the fact that she never came around… I had to beg some other server to refill my water glass. The second reason was the cocktails. I ordered a pretty pricy Sangria that was all ice, literally four sips and the thing was gone.(management if you are reading this, I was there on the evening of 4÷13… sitting near the back of the restaurant at a round table for five) I will likely not come back based on these two things when I return on regular work trips to the area.

We had a wedding party on a Friday night and the service and food was awesome. 30+ people in our party and they had service down to an art. Timing was excellent.

Arrived at 1130, the store opened at 11. They finally got our food to us at 1220. Service was ok, food was decent. I did the Garlic Fire Street Tacos, nice kick to the foid but the wait and the amount of chips they dropped at a 4 Top was a lil excessive, we had 6 bowls of chips to keep us quiet. I will say that Megan the beautiful eyed Waitress was very helpful, friendly, got our drinks to us quickly. Food is not typical Mexican food more Americanized to look pretty,. Id possibly return.

This place is severely overcrowded and a hazard. They don’t do reservations, but have a call ahead service. However as we found out it really means you go on the list right behind whoever checked in just in front of you. Waited a couple minutes, and left.

In the area for a business trip and a few of my colleagues and I were craving Mexican, or Tex/Mex food. Luckily my coworkers mentor suggested we meet here for dinner. I was surprised for a Monday night that there was a 15 minute wait. But it was a good sign too. We were led to a roomy and comfy booth and a server came by immediately to ask for drink orders. Complimentary chips and salsa and all our drinks were brought out quickly after that. The menu has a lot to choose from – salads, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas and seafood specials. I opted for a taco sampler(I LOVED that I could order a sampler) steak, fish and shrimp. They were all good, the ingredients were fresh and the flavors were wonderful. Service was great from start to finish. Our ice teas and waters were kept filled as well as our basket of crispy fresh tortilla chips and salsa. Nice place set in a shopping area so if you have time to kill, you can do some shopping as well.

Not sure why the rating is so low! This is our favorite place to eat! I haven’t tried anything I didn’t like yet. I usually stick with the tacos and my husband prefers the burritos. The pork is amazing! The roasted jalapeño sauce is super good and my husband is crazy and likes the 8 hatch hot one. This is our go to place when we have visitors or just when we want something delicious. The service is great too.

Oh, Hacienda Colorado!!! This chain is as close to TexMex as you can get outside of Texas or Oklahoma. This location had an AMAZING happy hour on a Saturday. Service: I would have given this place 5 stars, were it not for our server. That guy was visibly overwhelmed and was not handling the stress of a busy, beautiful Saturday as well as a hospitality professional should have in this situation. Really… that dude should have seen $dolla billz$ instead of bothersome weeds. He did not know how to greet at all and introduced himself by saying, «It’s going to be 5 minutes before I even get to you.» And raced off before we could say, «Ok.» I point the fault of this horrible behavior to poor FOH training and FOH management not being staffed adequately to help out people who are in over their heads. Food: Amazing! I’ve never had a bad dish at any of the locations. BOH management could teach the FOH about the importance of consistency as it relates to overall customer experience. From the guacamole to the chips and salsa to the tortillas… everything was prepared with nice detail and delicious! Atmosphere: Being understaffed on a beautiful Saturday is not the best of ideas! Everything had a slight sense of chaos which was evident as both the host stand and servers were really overwhelmed. This energy can be absorbed by your guests! Overall, the delicious food and drinks will guarantee that I return!!!

Nice atmosphere, fast service, great Margaritas, awesome happy hour deals and the chips+salsa they bring out are amazing. We ALWAYS start out with a bowl of Qeuso Blanco with Chorizo(Tell them not to be shy when it comes to the Chorizo… it’s good stuff). Can’t go wrong with a Barbacoa Burrito drizzled in roasted Jalapeño sauce. Don’t forget those mouthwatering sopapillas for dessert.

We have come here countless times but tonight was a standout. Tonight was the night before Valentine’s Day and since my boyfriend is working tomorrow, this was our only night. We started the night off across the street and after a horrible experience we ended up at Hacienda. We chose to sit in the bar and avoid the wait for a table. Joey was out server and saved the evening for us. Through out the evening he was spot on with his service. We never ran out of chips and salsa, or water. Once our margaritas were running low, he was quick to offer a second round. When it came time for dessert the boyfriend realized his favorite, the Tres Letches was no longer in the menu, Joey went or if his way to find one last serving in the kitchen. While watching him throughout the evening I noticed he was constantly cleaning tables, refilling drinks and was equally friendly and personable with all the other tables and his coworkers. Joey saved the evening. He was happy to be there, he was polite, he had a great personality. What else can you ask for?

LOVEDTHISPLACE. The roasted jalapeño sauce was to die for. I almost wanted to spoon it out like soup. The margaritas are very strong so you get what you pay for. I got the carnita burrito and it was huge.

After attending an epic ugly sweater party the night before, we were craving Mexican food. I have never been to Hacienda but I have long wanted to give it a try. Mind you, the struggle my wife and I were in was REAL. We were quite hungover but still decided to drive almost 20 mins to get here. A little crazy, right? With that being said, it should be noted that it was worth the drive in the end. The service from DESI was amazing! Major shout out to her. We let her know we weren’t firing on all cylinders and she came to the rescue. She was very patient with my dumb hungover questions, such as «what does smothering entail?’ C’mon, I know what means. She was extremely attentive, filled our chips and salsa automatically and I didn’t have a problem flagging her down to order a happy hour Margarita. $ 5.50 for a skinny marg with a bad hangover? Sure. They have a dedicated gluten-free menu which was very nice as well, for that reason Ill add them to my GF list.

Two of the eight people at our table ordered chile rellenos and both of them came out with a sheet of plastic melted to the bottom. The server said that although it shouldn’t be on the relleno, it was safe to eat. I really don’t trust the quality of food here and will never eat here again.

Every single time I come here(3), I have had a ball! Service is ALWAYS on point! Food is ALWAYS hot & delicious! Restaurant is ALWAYSCLEAN, including the bathrooms. I have been to 3 Hacienda Colorados(Westminster, Englewood & Colorado Springs) several times & I have nothing bad to say. Will be back… OVER&OVER&OVERAGAIN!

I was the designated driver today so I can’t testify to the quality of the margaritas or the swirly drink my friends were enjoying so much. They say they are good so I will go with that, my ice tea was good. The place is nice and the service was ok considering how busy they were. I ordered guacamole to start and it was ok, nothing special. For my main course I ordered the steak and chicken fajitas with corn tortillas. The fajitas were okay and again nothing special except the steak strips were cooked to perfection. I like more authentic Mexican food with some spice to it and a little of the ambience you get with the little out of the way places around town. I will take Tia Marias over almost any Mexican restaurant around the city. Just for a couple of drinks and casual conversation in a comfortable atmosphere it is okay. I will just enjoy the chips and pretty good salsa and maybe a drink if I ever go back.

This is a popular spot. Place was very busy on a Tuesday evening. Its been ages since my last green chile smothered burrito and this place did a great job. Sure it was kinda heavy but the green chile was so yummy. And of course, the 20oz Dos XX was also equally yummy. I spied some fish tacos. Maybe I’ll have those the next time. I think they could have used a few more servers, because it got busy and lots of folks were waiting in the seating area.
