Upgrading to 5 stars… Best breakfast burrito I’ve had and they have definitely improved the homemade salsa!

Note — this review spans multiple visits. I’ve picked up burritos here many times go to and have eaten in at others. Double meat breakfast burrito — enough said. Best burrito around. They are huge, as I usually eat half one day and half the next, and the salsa goes great with it. The ingredients are fresh, the ham is flavorful(though could have a bit more smokiness) and the customer service is great as well. I’ve only been there a handful of times but this is now the new tradition whenever my brother comes to town. Drawbacks — very little seating, ham could use a bit more smoke, and the salsa is on the blander side. Sometime, I’ll have to try something else on the menu — but it will be hard opting for something else.

This little piggy went to Ham ‘n Scram And she went whee! whee! whee! All the way home. I had a craving for breakfast burritos, and Ham ‘n Scram was on my bookmarks. Check and check! Ham ‘n Scram is a very small place with not much room to sit, so you will most likely have to scram after picking up your meal. The owner was very friendly while taking our order. He offered me a stamp card too, and told me mine would be full before long… we’ll see! I ordered the breakfast burrito($ 6.94), which comes with ham, cheese, bacon, green peppers, and eggs. There’s also a free drink if you check in! We waited a bit for it to come out, and admired the pig paraphernalia and pictures decorating the interior. Upon receiving the burrito, my first thought was that it was a little small, but don’t worry, it’ll fill you up. My first bite into the burrito was heavenly. I am not sure how they make their ham, but it is hearty, full of flavor, and just SO good. The salsa included with it isn’t the best, but it still adds to it. There’s nothing really outstanding about the other components of the burrito, but I would get it again just to pig out on the ham… should have gone with the double meat. Their Ham ‘n Egg burrito is a simple but delicious way to fuel up for the rest of the day. I wouldn’t say it’s a destination place to eat, but if you’re in this neck of the woods I cannot recommend it enough. Food: 4, Service: 5, Environment: 3, Price: 4

I’ve been here twice with my partner and both times we’ve ordered the same thing: I had the breakfast bowl and he had the double meat burrito. When you find something you like, why change it up? You really can’t go wrong with generous portions of ham, cheese, eggs, hash browns, onions, and peppers. Their salsa is flavorful and just hot enough. The customer service is friendly and the store is clean. We’ll be back!

I would come back to this place if the food wasn’t any good because the people are so freaking awesome add in that the breakfast burrito is the bomb. Must try the ham cakes next time. Good food good service simple menu I’m in.

Damn, best breakfast burrito I’ve had by far. Been coming here for a couple of years now. Never fails. Not greasy, and doesn’t upset my stomach like some other places I will not name.

Oh Ham ‘N Scram… I’ve been coming here since they first opened their doors for business. Double meet breakfast burrito is by far the BEST breakfast burrito I’ve ever eaten. The salsa that they put on the side is amazing too! Great flavor’s! They used to have bacon chocolate chip cookies, not sure if they still have them or not, but they were fantastic as well. Forest, the owner is very friendly. Ask for a sample of the split pea soup, you’ll never have anything better! Can’t wait to get me some more Ham N Scram. Just a heads up, parking is tiny, and so is the inside of the restaurant. Usually can’t find a parking spot in the lot so I have to park in the neighborhood. Oh well, not a big deal.

If i could give zero stars I would this is the second time my company and i have ordered and they mess the order up. when speaking to the manager forest he must be forest gump because he makes it seem like it’s our fault for asking for a burrito w/out ham, really? if that’s how we order it and get it with a sticker on it that says no ham we expect it to be that way. needless to say there was no end result horrible customer service and we will never order from here again. check your order before eating!!!

This is a 5 star place, hands down. No frills, nothing fancy, just good food served by good people. The serving size is huge and the wait time is normal to fast. There isn’t much room for seating but this isn’t meant to be a dine in breakfast/brunch spot. Whenever I’m in the mood for a solid and delicious breakfast at a great price, Ham N Scram is always the first place I think of!

I’ve been coming here almost every week or other week when I discovered this place. after my last visit, that was it for me. we had ordered 6 burritos and requested for chipotle ranch instead of salsa. the sweet lady was very kind to give us more but the guy who probably owns the place was being so cheap about it.

we decided to try the ham n scram based on the reviews, but unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. I got the breakfast plate and my hubby got the ham burrito. both of us thought the food was just boring and bland. there was no real flavor. my hash browns were burnt and the rest of the plate was just meh. And there is little to no seating. definitely won’t be back!

I do not understand these reviews? We went here today and was not impressed. Ordered double meat burrito, egg bowl and an English muffin. Burrito was good but my bowl was not worth $ 7! Plus we sat in the far back table next to the kitchen and it was not clean. Towels on the floor and the floor had trash lying around. I didn’t like seeing that. Then I never got my English muffin and asked the female cashier for a refund, she went into the kitchen and then I asked the manager? For a refund since I hadn’t recieved it he said no problem but she fought him(in front of me) that my muffin was in the toaster! The manager said he would eat it!!! Seriously??? If the dirty kitchen didn’t turn my stomach the bad service most definitely did!

The original ham burrito is hands down the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had! I was contemplating on getting the double meat ham burrito but thought it would be too much meat to fit in my mouth so I took it easy & stuck with the original. It turned out to be a great choice because the original burrito itself was extremely filling! You should definitely come hungry & be ready for a delicious mouthful at Ham & Scram! The first bite was heavenly! I tried my first bite without the salsa because I always like to know what my food tastes like before adding any extra flavor with sauces or condiments. Adding their house made salsa magnified the incredible taste even more. The salsa had a good spicy kick to it but the spiciness wasn’t overwhelming to me like other salsas are. The tortilla wasn’t too thick which I loved. I hate when tortillas are too thick because it fills me up & I can’t eat as much. I tore the burrito up though! The proportions of the ingredients were just right. There was a good amount of everything in every single bite! I got a French vanilla iced coffee with my brunch then had to go back for a second cup which was FREE with a Unilocal check in. The guy working the front of the house was super friendly & welcoming. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name because I was starving & so excited to eat! He even gave my boyfriend & I two free samples of two different soups while we waited for our order. He definitely made us feel welcome on our first visit & made us want to come back again for sure!

Cheap, huge burritos FILLED with ham, bacon, eggs, potatoes, melted cheese. Seriously, this burrito is packed with delicious stuff. The tortilla is the thin, translucent kind that’s chewy(my fave!). It’s a teeny tiny spot so it’s best to call in your order as you’re driving over so you don’t have to wait in line or outside in the sun. There are maybe 4 – 5 tables inside. If you’re lucky enough to eat inside, they have a variety of condiments for you to use: ketchup, tapatio, cholula, banana sauce, salsa, etc. If you fall in love with their breakfast burritos, be sure to get a stamp card so you can earn your freebie. Support local, small businesses. Credit cards accepted, including amex. Plenty of parking available in the strip mall parking lot.

This is what happens when you try and write a review via talk text. Allright BB! k I went to Hammons Graham to get a breakfast Brito a little while bag and decided it was finally time to rite a review ol Ham and scram is a small 234 Cheap Pl. that makes up a good break fast U gon a luv it two. I’m not even sure what/if Siri was helping me write? But here’s what I think I had in mind. Its an all right place baby. Ok so I went to Ham and Scram to get me a breakfast burrito a little while back. I decided it was finally time to write a review for the place. They do make a good breakfast burrito. Ham and Scram is a small(tiny ) place to go for a good breakfast burrito. There’s a couple of tables inside but it does the bulk of its business to go. Also 99% of the menu items have ham. Duh = Ham & Scram! I’ve had a couple different burritos and honestly I couldn’t tell the difference maybe it was just the ham filling or size. Both were good, both had ham, eggs, taters and cheese as do most of the items in the small menu. Bowls, wraps, sammys and plates. No worries I like ham and H&S makes a tasty, although lightly smoked ham that they use in almost all of her dishes. Don’t like ham? Hit the road Jack, this ain’t your kind of place. Jewish? Muslim? Well you are kind of f**ked here. Not much on the menu that will not be offending. Ok so that leaves more for me! The staff and owner are way chill and love to help you figure out what you want. Liked my food but the salsa/pico(mandatory for Brekkie Buritos) was a lil weak and pre packed in containers… Meh H&S needs to step up her game and add some other protein choices like bacon and sausage. A couple of real salsa’s wouldn’t hurt either. And a little more smoke o the meat would be nice too. If in the area I’ll be back

Could cure any hangover. Small parking lot. Service was beyond slow. Would have got a 4 but they took over 20 minutes to make 1 burrito and there was only 2 people in line before me. No way it should take that long to make. Free drink with Unilocal check in! Double Meat Burrito — $ 8.80 — HUGE! Good blend of ham, egg, bacon, and everything else. Surprised it was not salty at all. Needs a spicier salsa. I ate a quarter of it and was pretty full.

My brother-in-law claimed that this place was my sister’s favorite breakfast burrito place. That must be pretty impressive considering my Asian family loves burritos(or Mexican food) and my sister doesn’t usually eat breakfast food. He also explained that Ham n Scram made the top 64 top burritos in America! Must be good. I’m a burritophile with my fair share of OMGSOGOOD Mexican food places in San Diego… but not so much of a breakfast burritophile. Food l 4: — the Original: Per my bro-in-law’s recommendation, I got the«Original». I swear it took a good 15 – 25 min to get our food. It was rather small at first impression but he said that my dad, someone with a voracious appetite couldn’t finish it last time, but I managed to finish it. Small girl, big stomach? HAHA Even though it didn’t give me a bad, greasy aftertaste, I wasn’t hungry for lunch after. The burrito was pretty good, ESPECIALLY the ham ERMAGHAD. And the hefty(and I mean hefty) amount of cheese. Other than that, the burrito didn’t leave that much of an impression on me. The other contents were alright, wasn’t a fan of the peppers, salsa was bland, but the tortilla was good. Loved it with frank’s hot and ketchup rather than the salsa. Verdict: It was good, but I wouldn’t come out of my way to get the burrito here. However, if I were in the area, or knew if a breakfast burrito fanatic, of course I’ll introduce them to Ham n Scram! TL;DR: — recommend the original — salsa A-OK — limited seating — takes a long time to get your order — stamp card(per visit, not per burrito) — check in for a free beverage

Olé’ McDonald had a farm E.I.E.I.O. And on that farm he had a pig E.I.E.I.O With an oink, oink here And an oink, oink there Here an oink There an oink Everywhere an oink, oink Olé McDonald had a farm E.I.E.I.O Well that pretty much sums up what is on the menu here. Yes folks that’s right Porky the Pig has been sliced, diced, fried, died and laid to the side all in an effort to give you a GREATMORNING bfast and some tasty soups! I was in the area one morning and wanted someplace to go for bfast. I took out my not so smart phone and pulled up my trusty Unilocal app to see what was in the area and BAM first hit was Ham Scram and it was just up the way and going in the same direction I was headed. Woohoo! When I pulled up there was maybe one other car in the lot but it was pretty empty. This place is SUPEREASY to find but it’s located in a BABYBUTTTINY strip mall so if you blink you might pass it. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a cheery«Good Morning». So refreshing to be greeted as you walk in. I checked in on my Unilocal app and scored a FREE drink so I got a NICEHOT coffee. The owner saw I was trying to figure out what I wanted to eat and made a suggestion which was SUPER welcomed. I ended up getting the bfast rito which has hash browns, cheese, diced peppers and onions, egg and of course Porky’s hind parts all chopped up. I saw they also had soup which was coming out of the kitchen and I was offered a sample of the bean and HAM and the split pea and HAM soups. Sooooo FRICKINDELISH! Yum, Yum Yummy! So I got an order of the split pea for lunch or din-din later. SUPERB! Moments later my rito was ret-to-go and bagged up along with the soup and I was on my way. The smell of the rito was strangling my nostrils so I could NOTHELP but dig into the bag and rip open the rito from its wapper and take a bite. OMG as I live and breathe. SCRUM-DILLY-UMPTOUS! Probably ZZZZ-BESTBFASTRITO I have EVAAAAA had! It was JAMPACKEDFULL of ingredients all cooked and marinated together for YUMMYGOODNESS! I have been back several time now and they are ALWAYSCONSISTANT! They are looking to open up another location closer to home so hopefully that will pan out. I have NOT deterred from the bfast rito and I ALWAYS like to get the soup while I’m there because they rend to sale out EALRY in the A.M. If you are a bfast person come try them out when your in the area.

I had been seeing my buddy Lasty K. flexing on IG about this place. Ever since then I’ve had my eye on this place. Finally I was able to wake up super early this past weekend and boy was I famish. I quickly gathered myself and made my way down to Westminster to try what I heard was one fantastic breakfast burrito. As soon as I entered the place(its a very small location, limited seating), I was greeted by the owner who was absolutely friendly and courteous. Look up those words in the dictionary and his face is surely there. His customer service was beyond excellent and if not for anything else, thats the sole reason I would return. Thats what I thought until I bit into the ham burrito… my gawd DELICIOUS! Second reason for a return. I ordered the ham burrito for about 8 bucks I believe. Free drink with your check in btw. I waited a bit for the ham to start cooking. Yeah that ham is fresh! I took my first bite and was instantly hooked. This ham is the business. I love ham and this isn’t that pre-packaged ham stuff, this is the real deal. The texture was outstanding. The juiciness of the ham blended with the burrito and all its other ingredients made this one of the best breakfast I’ve had in quite some time. I was told later that the burrito goes super great with the Jufran sauce. Just another reason for me to return again. Overall, with a great owner, outstanding customer service and a great ham burrito that is to die for, this place clearly is my go-to spot for breakfast now. The portions are huge btw. I had trouble finishing the burrito that was cut in half. I finished my first half and had to save the other half for later. They really pack it in their with ham, eggs(which had great great texture btw), green peppers, etc… PS I saw a delivery truck(not sure if they do delivery)? PPS Soup of the day option too?

Ham on Ham on Ham… Oink! Whoever decided to make or create breakfast burritos, genius! If you’re lookin’ for an amazing hole in the wall breakfast burrito, this is where you need to get it! I got two breakfast burritos for myself and cousin to split and share. I got the original breakfast burrito(ham/eggs/hash brown) and my cousin got the«vegetarian» burrito(eggsx2/hash brown). I really enjoyed the original breakfast burrito! It’s so simple but with so much flavor. The place is small, but have such great customer service. It is family owned, which means a lot of heart goes into the work and food they create! Breakfast burritos for the win!
