Been always eating here. So decided to write something now. Food is good. Very clean for mom and pop rest. The service is not good. Came at 3pm and took awhile for the good when I’m the only one. Wait staff’s attitude is eh.

For a tiny place in a crowded plaza, you can’t expect a super clean restaurant. That being said, their bun bo hue was pretty legit. It may have lacked a spice factor and lemon grass aroma, but the bowl(after adding 2 limes and spicy sate) overall was quite tasty. They don’t cut the pork leg for you, so ask for a pair of scissors. Their cha gio was yummy. Banh beo… it’s «meh, ok» but their super sweet mam sauce needed a lot of work. Chili sambal, lime, and more Nuoc mam. It’s prob best to order this on the to-go side.

I have seen this place around but never had time to try it until now. I’ve been to their to-go spot, good food but that’s for a next reviews. Was craving for some soup and bbh was on my mind. So decided to try this spot out. Sure enough it was good. Actually made a video clip and loaded on Unilocal as well. It tasted as how it should be. I’ve tried other spots, but I would say this is one of my top 5. Just reviewing for the bbh. The atmosphere is average, typical Vietnamese restaurant.

They have really good Hue(Central Vietnam) dishes. I grew up eating Northern dishes so each time I come here, I try something a little different and I have not been disappointed. Everything is prepared fresh and the flavors are so delectable. I actually crave some of their dishes and have to come here every few weeks. I’ve tried other places, but I like coming here because of their variety and freshness.

One of my favorite place to eat when I come to Westminster. I come here for # 18 every time. Can’t find the same in the San Gabriel valleys.

Havent personally been to the store but i always order party trays for parties and a family member would pick it up. Love there banh uot thit nuong… yum! Just a tiny bit pricey bc 4 – 5 rolls would be around a meal price but it doesnt fill me up like a meal.

Food is great but service is below average. Sometimes the old men just kept on staring at you while you eat. It’s kinda creepy and uncomfortable, but im sure they dont mean any harm. About the food, i really like the broth flavor here. much more than ngu binh. but they’re quite stingy on the meat & noodle for a «large bowl».

This is a great place to get Hue food. Love their Bun, Mi, and Spring Rolls. The food is really authentic and fresh. Love coming here to get their food. Would definitely recommend people to come here for a try, at least one time.

I haven’t been here for awhile. Nothing has changed… The food is still really good. My all-time fave is the banh combo #12. See pic below. It’s a variety of rice and tapioca flour pastries eaten with fish sauce. Yum! The fish sauce is just right. Never bland or salty. The Bun Bo Hue is also good! Not too spicy. Parking can be tough especially on weekends. Service is quick.

OMMMMGAAAH! FINALLY, got my banana leaf food fix! Came here with my cousins the other day, and ommmmgaaaah! It’s like a home cooked Vietnamese meal! Ordered the banh loc la, banh nam la, bun bo hue, and one other thing(I forgot name). They’re known for their bun bo hue, and it is REALLLLLY good! I think I do like Ngu Binh better although I have heard their quality isn’t where it used to be(haven’t been in a while). The bun bo hue broth was on point, allllllllmost as good as how my parents make it! The leafed foods were great– exactly the food I have been craving! Service could be a little slow and a bit curt, but it’s older Vietnamese men, hard to expect more lol They did fulfill all our requests and did not leave one thing out. So, I’d say we scored there! They try to close right at 7pm by turning of the Viet instrumental music that they play but a table still came in! haha Overall, I’d get my Viet fix here and I frequent them for catering or large take out orders already!

I wish there is an option for ZERO star! TERRIBLE service!!! Don’t come here. There are better places that treat their customer right! Cho Tam Bien has yummy«cha oc» too! I don’t expect any good customer service in a Vietnamese restaurant, but I don’t expect to be mistreated. I came from out of town and learned from my previous experience to pre-order the«cha oc» because they do run out of stock. I came by on Friday and pre-ordered 300 counts of «cha oc». I received an order slip from the store and offered to prepaid my order. The guy told me «it’s OK, just pay when you pick it up». When I came to pick up my order, there were chaos in the store. I couldn’t even tell where the line starts. One woman behind me asked me «is this is the line?» I answered yes, and the next second, she was ahead of me placing her order/pickup. RUDE customer! Another man came and asked about the line, I answered I am not sure… Anyway, when I handed the guy my order slip, another guy came and told me they sold out. SOLDOUTWHEN I PRE-ORDERED??? What kind of business is this??? How do you run out of «cha oc» at 10 am on Sunday morning, especially when I pre-ordered? In fact, there was a woman in front of me got 200 counts of «cha oc» when she didn’t pre-order … And then there was 100 count sitting on the counter and they put it back in the fridge. That was my 300 count!!! When I was in line, I saw they have a lot of trays in the fridge left too. Anyway, all I got was sorry and tell me to come back the next day. WHYWOULD I WANTTOCOMEBACK??? I will never come back here!!! I am from out of town, but I come there at least 3 times a year. When my friends in Cali come to visit me, they buy me «cha oc» here. NEVER will I eat anything from this store!!! When I was there on Friday, I had lunch there. We had Bun Bo Hue and the combination banh. The bun bo hue was good, not much different from Quan Da Vy. The combination banh, it was dried, cold, and some were chewy… nothing special about it. I have had better else where.

Vietnamese food is life! I love vietnamese food and this restaurant satisfied my cravings for the sweet fish sauce and rice paper! The only problem is the language barrier for customers that can’t speak vietnamese like me! It was so hard to communicate with the waiter. Additionally, the menu needs more pictures for those of us who can’t read vietnamese. Asking the waiter about the menu only complicated things. Despite this, the food was amazing and very authentic.

Yummmm mi Quang is pretty legit! The banh combo really good. I’ve come here twice already and both times did not disappoint. The mi Quang is packed with flavor and add some fresh Thai chili in there and it will be just right. I will definitely come back with family. It’s also kinda neat to see the factory-Esk work environment next to you. They do party trays from egg rolls to banh beo. I might have to make my orders here next time I have a party! Excited to find a mi Quang place. Couple of suggestions — I wish they would use the pork ribs for the mi Quang. Now that would be so perfect. And the soda chanh mui(preserve lemon drink … Think a salty lemonade) and café sua da(viet coffee) were in tiny to-go cups. Take a couple of sips and it’s done. Too small. But, I’m coming back to get the bun Bo hue.

This review is for the catering section. This seems to be the happening place to pick up all your party trays. I dont care how good the food is but they need to learn time management, organization and customer service skills. Please do everyone a favorite and do not take orders that you can not fulfill on time. When people order party trays that usually mean they have a party at a certain time and need to pick up their food by a certain time, My aunt ordered 40 eggrolls from this location. My cousin and I came to pick it up. While inside the store there was a small group of people waiting for their orders. A few of them were complaining that they ordered days in advance and have been waiting for almost 2 hours pass the promise time. one lady said to give her the orders that are ready because she doesn’t want to wait anymore. but the pompous guy taking the order told her no and she needed to wait. instead of checking on her order he just stood there telling everyone to wait and staring at paper orders. so after standing for like 10 mins and finally getting the guys attention. He told us to wait, and we said f this and left. do yourself a favorite and dont waste your time here.

Came in on a Friday, being it wasn’t busy I had choice of several tables. Parking here was a breeze since Huong Giang is located in a private strip center. I heard about this place from a cousin who knows I’m a fan of Bun Bo Hue. I ordered the large and I wasn’t disappointed — the broth was delish, not greasy and the entrée contained a generous portion of protein and pork blood. Service was decent but it’s cash only. BTW if you’re wanting food to go it’s no issue here — the left side of the restaurant is to go and the right wing is dine in. Enjoy, I know I’ll be returning for sure!

TIP #1: if you can’t read Vietnamese, the menu is going to be really confusing. There’s no pictures on the menu either. So you’ll have to from on Unilocal,or you should bring someone with you that can read Vietnamese TIP #2: cash only FOOD~ 1) Banh Beo: big portion and tasty! It comes with shredded shrimp and pork grinds! YUM 2) Dia Banh Combo: has a little bit of everything! And very delicious 3) Bun Bo Hue: also very tasty. I recommend not to eat it AFTER you eat something that has the fish sauce. If you eat it after you taste the fish sauce, the soup will be very bland 4) Banh Uot Thit Nuong: $ 1/piece. There’s a good amount of meat inside and its tasty with the peanut sauce it comes with.

My family caters from the Huong Giang togo quite often. Their banh beo, banh nam, and cha hue are pretty spot on, so I thought I would give their sit down restaurant a go. I primarily went to taste the quintessential Hue dish, bun bo hue, but left slightly disappointed. The bun bo hue broth was bland. To sum it up, it lacked the depth that bun bo hue should have. I felt like the soup stock wasn’t fully developed so it tasted watery and not at all spicy. The meat also had a heavy meat stench to it which I don’t at all appreciate. My sister ordered the com hen which was okay. The rice and baby clam ratio was really off. A heavy dose of chopped lettuce was supposed to make up for the lack of clams. I did enjoy the the combo sampler which included: banh beo, banh nam, banh bot loc, banh it, cha hue, and surprisingly, banh cuon, which was a nice addition. Overall, not my favorite Hue restaurant in Westminster, but if you do have a hankering, I guess this spot is okay.

Good food, decent viet service and it’s not so dirty. I’d recommend the Mi Quang, Bun Bo Hue, Banh Beo and Banh Uot.

This place is cool because it’s attached to a bakery. My friend and I didn’t venture in, but we saw people come and go. Parking is pretty plentiful since it’s located in a large complex. It’s an interesting restaurant for Hue food. The com hen fried rice with baby clams) looked appetizing, but I ordered the buon version by accident. Lol. The buon was pretty good nonetheless, and it was pretty cheap. A small bowl was $ 6.25 while the large version ran for $ 7(?). At one point I felt like the employees were just sitting there like vultures waiting for you to finish your food and leave the table. Seriously, I observed them observing folks that looked like they were almost done with their meal so that they can swoop in and do a clean-up. Lol. The service was pretty average for a Viet place. They came around as needed, but the restaurant was pretty small so they were constantly keeping an eye out if customers needed them.
