I’ve been doing business with Tony since I was 18. I am now 38 and he is the only business I’ve been loyal to for this long besides my insurance broker (Elite)!
He is like my brother and takes care of me like a family member would. Tony has worked on 9 of my cars going on 10 and he is the only mechanic I would ever trust!
Hands down LD is a safe haven for anybody looking for low pricing and great service for their car needs. Oh by the way, he kicks ass in bodywork and paint jobs too!

Always come to Tony. He does great work at a fair price. I always refer my friends and family to him. My female friends are always happy to go to his shop too as they never feel like they get taken advantage of. He’s one of the honest mechanics who give them a good name abd show you he’s being honest. Never does bad work and I would refer my own mother to his shop.

I have 5 cars. all of them are doing the smog in Tony’s shop. Quick and professional. cheapest price I can found. no appointment is needs. Wish I can found this kind shop close to my house. Otherwise I have to drive 20 mins to get here.

Don’t know why rating is so low. The guy who runs the shop is very honest, tells you only what you need to get fixed and would never overcharge. The way I see it in this business that is about all that matters. Oh, and he knows what he is doing. Will keep coming back and am extremely happy to do business here.

+ Hours of Operation — Open 7 days a week. One of the few centers that are open on Sundays!
+ Price — $ 40 smog test and certification. Take that! (Well, there’s a cheaper place for $ 30 on Brookhurst & 11^th St., but they were closed.)
+ Service — The dude smiled as I walked in and smiled as I left. He was quick! I was in and out within less than 25 minutes.
— The location sucks a$$ since it’s in the heart of Bolsa. (I am apologizing beforehand for my fellow Asian’s inability to drive properly in this area. Please excuse us for darting out of the Asian Garden Mall’s lot without looking, driving half the speed limit, and for not checking our blindspots. However, we do have great phở in the area so please stop by).
Tip: It’s difficult to find LD between all the auto repair shops. If you’re going south on Moran St., turn right into the lot that is also home to Johnny Auto Repair and Bolsa Auto Repair & Muffler. LD is located on the very back end.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am very protective of my car. My friend who I’ve known since high school used to work with his brother Tony here, and both were well-​trained mechanics who know what they’re doing and never overcharge. They also provide free towing for cars within the area and are a State of California Licensed Smog Check Inspection Repair Station.
