Logan Surfboard Repair

Like the other guy, I’m a pretty progressive thinking person but growing up in the male dominated world of surfing and skateboarding, I was kind of like: «Hmm? Will she be as good as the guys?» So I had to get over my machismo and silly bulls#!t way of thinking, LOL. I’ve brought my boards in twice now and Molly does an AMAZING job. In between, I brought my board to another guy because he was very close to my work (convenient), but it wasn’t a great repair, so I brought it to Molly and she re-​fixed it and it looks so amazing. Made the edge of the rail, crisp and sharp like it originally was. I used to go to Pure Glass who does top notch work, but they were just too far. Molly is easily as good as them and much closer.
Well, I’m off to Indo in a week and I’m sure after the airlines and reefs are done with my boards, I’ll be seeing you soon Molly!

I just picked up my board after only a few days in the shop. It looks like new. I’m excited to ride it this weekend. As usual, Molly made quick work of the repair and deserves kudos for a job well done. I appreciate the quick turn around and her attention to detail. I highly recommend her shop for board repair.

Molly is the most professional surf shop owner I’ve even came across. She is just so real and personable. Hands down best work around also. Just a win win all the way around. I’m glad I found her. Not to happy about the fact my son busted his board, but very happy I came across her shop to assist in the repair!!!

Molly is the best. She’s good to her word on her turnaround time and her prices are very reasonable. She’s worked on my 9’6″ board a few times and her craftsmanship is excellent. Highly recommended.

I’ve been surfing for over 20 years… let’s see… uh…holy Jesus…31 years. OK, so as I was looking for some ding repair outside of my normal guy, who by the way is awesome but farther than I can get to after work, and I came by Molly on the good ol’ world wide web. I’ll be honest, I was intrigued by the idea of ding repair a la female but that made it a bit more cool. I challenged my initial male BS and gave her a chance. I figured if she can work on Stephanie Gilmore’s board, that should be good enough for me especially since I’m not going to be in any heat. Let me tell you, she is the real deal. I had one half of my swallow tail fish broken almost off and she put it back on, matched the color pretty well and it is solid as hell. I’ve been dealing with surfers for the past foreverness and it’s the same ol’ crap… late with excuses. She knocked my board out pretty fast and I am happy. You won’t be disappointed. Hopefully I’ll never have to come back but if I need some repair, I won’t hesitate. BTW, go to the end of the street, pull in the last lot and turn right. Then go to the end, on the right.

I found Molly on Craigslist and I needed an emergency repair in 24 hours on my racing SUP. The repair looked better than new at a very fair price. My 10 year old son and I then placed first in class and third overall SUP in the Catalina to San Pedro rock 2 rock paddle board race. Thanks Molly! You now have a life long customer.

Molly does great work, and so personable. She even took time to take my parents on a tour of the shop and showed them all the steps that go into the making of a board. My step dad loved it.
She made me a custom long board several years ago. She took into consideration my needs and skills at the time and made it to grow with me.
Still my best board and anyone who has gotten to ride it also loves it, guy or girl. One of my friends after riding it, called Molly to have a copy made for himself.
She goes over and above.

Update to my original review: I asked Molly to shape a 7′ board for when the waves are «big» (for me) at Bolsa and Seal Beach. She finished it just in time for a south swell, and I’ve had a few great rides already at the river mouth. It’s easy to paddle, maneuverable, and really really fast down the line. I am quite happy with it so far.
Molly is definitely more than a board repair specialist. She shapes great boards too! Somewhere down the road, I may be ordering another…

Molly is super rad and did an amazing patch job on my board! I’m stoked… it’s like a new board.

I’ve never met Molly, but my shaper has taken 3 of my boards to her for repairs. They honestly come back looking and feeling better than I ever expected. My shortboard was painted on the bottom, right up to the rail, and she did an awesome job of preserving the paint job when repairing a rail (thank you surfer from El Porto for not recognizing priority). More importantly, I could barely feel the patch job on the rail. She recently did an amazing job repairing the tail on my fish. Very good work.

Molly is the best! She does an amazing job fixing any damage you may have on your surfboard. You can’t beat the quality or price. I’ve gone to other places but they do not compare.

If you need your board repaired, stop searching and take it to Molly. Hands down the best experience I’ve had in getting a board repaired. The tail of my board was all messed up and the width of the foam was exposed and damaged. Molly was able to shape a new piece of foam to replace the damaged part of the tail and the finish was seamless, all for an excellent price. I was also impressed that it only took a week and that she adhered to the commit time she gave me initially (a major issue in previous experiences with other repair people). She’s very courteous and professional in her communication. I won’t take my board anywhere else and will recommend her to all my friends and anyone else reading this. Thanks again Molly.

Ummm Molly is a great shaper, not just a ding repair specialist!
I tried a friend’s shortboard shaped by Molly about a year ago, just for a few waves, and really enjoyed riding it. I thought about getting a board from Molly, but never followed through.
Yesterday I saw the same friend in the water again, and tried another shortboard Molly shaped. I had so much fun on that board, I’ve decided to order a board from Molly ASAP. That’s why I’m on Unilocal right now, to get her number and order a board! Figured I’d add this review, while I’m at it.

Great surfboard repair shop! Molly was professional, gave me a time frame for when the board would be done and came through. The board looked great and for a great price. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Nice people at the shop too.

I went in to get a few dings repaired on a board that I got from craigslist. Took it in and she fixed it up for an affordable price and also within a week. She was also very very helpful and friendly.

Molly is awesome! She is friendly, knowledgeable and honest. I got a quote to fix a ding on my Takayama epoxy surftech board at another shop for $ 120 and a 2 wk turnaround. I then went to Molly who quoted $ 75 and 1 wk turnaround. My Takayama looks brand new :) Go see her for all your repairs, you wont be disappointed. I highly recommend her.

Molly does great surfboard repairs, including color matching., if needed. I’ve been going to Molly for a long time, and plan to keep going to her. I’m always amazed at how well the rapairs are done, they nearly always come out better that I expect and I’m picky.
