This is a great traditional magic shop. The owner is a master in magic and the theory of magic as well. Come to Magic Galore if you want true opinions on magic effects and a warm, comedic environment with great tricks inside.

I stopped in with my family this weekend because my daughter was doing a presentation on Houdini. The location is a little unusual, but he has lots of cool stuff. He took the time to quiz her a little bit about her knowledge and to drop some tips about Houdini. He showed us an easy trick that my daughter could perform to wow her class and add a cool flair to her presentation. She loved the trick and I held my breath for the price. I was pleasantly surprised when he said the trick was $ 4! I was shocked. He did not try to pressure us into buying anything more expensive or anything we didn’t need. He took the time to show us some amazing close-up card tricks and the disappearing pen trick. We were all very impressed with his magic skills. I would highly recommend this shop.

Best magic shop out there! Don’t be fooled by its location and size – has a great selection of tricks, DVDs, and magic info. Ken is a great teacher as well as magician and always encourages his patrons to show their magic. Never pressures you to buy, buy, buy. Always fair and reasonable prices.

I brought my 5 year old daughter in to the magic shop in the bowling alley. The owner who knows advanced level of magic took the time to show her tricks at her age level. He made done great recommendations and didn’t try to pressure us into buying. The owner was very friendly and I higher recommend the magic shop!

Nice guy, always helpful. I go there to buy flash cotton which he sells for a good price. He is inside of a bowling alley which is unusual, but who cares, he’s local.

This is a very good, traditional-style magic shop, which is located in a small space inside the Westminster Lanes bowling alley. Ken, the owner, goes out of his way to be helpful to magicians of all levels — from beginners to experts, young and old. He’s not there just to sell you the latest thing and get your money. He is eager to share what he has learned over the years in this business and to guide people in their way through this art. That being said, he also stocks or can order pretty much anything you want, from books and CDs to that latest effect. Many professional magicians come here to just check in, hang out and share tips, stories and advice, which is often the best part of going to a good magic shop. This is old-school, but it’s the way magic should be taught and learned.

Ken Sands owns this place, and he is knowledgeable of his supply. If he doesn’t have it in stock, he can usually have it within a few days. The store is small, but is a nice little hangout. It is certainly a lot better than Best Magic, or the horrendous place at the Spectrum. Highly recommended!
