Mark Minh Nguyen – State Farm Insurance Agent

Now days everyone is talking about high standards and most attentive customers service. Promises are cheap. Every now and then you stumble upon people that actually mean that and you get pleasantly surprised. If you are looking for insurance these guys are it. I called Mark about two years ago for a quote and should have driven him mad with all my questions and changes, but it felt like I was talking to a very good friend. Ended up getting insurance for all my four cars and my home, then added the umbrella policy. Good thing I did, because unfortunately, I had to test them about a year ago when I had a little flood situation in my house and I must say that they made it much easier than I expected. Mark and his team helped me and my family every step of the way. It was by far the smoothest experience I have ever had with any insurance company. I can’t recommend Mark high enough. They have a solid insurance company behind them and Mark and his team are very easy to work with.

Takes care of his people! I bugged him about me changing my address, always get back to me when he can and always clears things up when I have a list of questions to ask him hahah. Thanks Mark! You’re awesome! Keep it up!

Sorry pal, not a good excuse to force someone to get two policies to increase your company billings. Very unethical of you, and not relevant to insuring my business equipment. If I wanted to get renters, homeowners or auto insurance before getting a quote for inland marine, I would have. Please do the community a favor and try not to twist the context of the conversation.

I gave State Farm a call and was directed to a guy named Chris. He was really nice and helpful even though I consistently bugged him for quotes on multiple cars. We switched to State Farm recently and Mark has earned the title to be «My Insurance Agent» and not just another insurance agent. I think of him and his office every time somebody talks about insurance. My family and I never had any issues with the service and policy. Never did we experience any surprises due to the excellent communication between us and the agent. Sign up process was easy and the price is great. Just what I was looking for. I can always call Mark for any questions and he always answers. I really feel like his office is genuinely hard working and care to make the experience as stress free as a possible. I needed to get insurance for a business ASAP and these guys did not hesitate on getting me started. I called to get a quote and received a full detailed quote in less than 1 hour with all the information I needed. I am not sure how other Insurance companies work, but the ability of these guys to provide information was faster than any other insurance company I called on that day. If you are looking for fast, reliable information about insurance or anything revolving insurance; these guys are the ones to call.

I came here a few months ago just to get a quote for my cars. Chris helped me out and gave me a terrific deal for my 3 cars along with multiple car discount. A few months later I signed up for a life insurance poicy. Mark is a really nice friendly guy along with the rest of his associates they make feel welcomed and take care of me anytime I come into their office, I wish I would’ve known about them before all my other insurance companies I now finally have a great insurance company that I can afford with all the great coverage I need. I highly reccomend this place to everyone, if you ever need a great deal talk to Chris he’s an awesome guy. Keep up the wonderful job guys! Like a good neighbor they really are there!

Let me be clear — this fabulous review isn’t a direct reflection of State Farm as a whole because my husband and I have gone through the ringer with some of their other offices/​agents.
These 5 stars 100% belong to Mark Minh’s office and staff — specifically our consultant Chris! I personally dread the moment when it is «Time to shop around» again for insurance rates and thanks to this gem of a find on Unilocal,that was not the case.
So here’s the Scoop — My husband gave them a ring one day after having a terrible experience with his former branch, while we were merging our separate insurance game plans into one. We had the luxury of speaking with Chris. Expecting to get thrown through the loops and pulled/​upsold in 86 million directions, we were sweetly surprised when he was extremely kind and simply just gave us the facts. There was no BS, just straight to the bottom line. He laid out the figures and different options that we qualified for and then just sat back and let us ponder over our decision. I never felt pressured nor was there anything «Sharky» about it. Once we confirmed we were going to move forward with them, I was unable to make it into the office to sign my portion of the documents until a few days later. Again, to my surprise (and expecting snooty agent fury) they were 100% fine with laying out the facts over the phone and then allowing me to pop in on my time. I’m pretty sure as 5:00 pm came and went that evening they waited to close their doors rather than «Sorry Charlie-​ing me» as I was stuck in traffic. Who does that anymore? So courteous.
Lastly, I was in the middle of a name change (terrible timing) during the time frame that they were piecing together our documents and had to make that adjustment to my insurance cards (anyone who has changed their name knows that the struggle is very real — so I assumed this would be just another walk through fire). Shockingly they took care of it right over the phone and immediately updated my online portal so I could print off temporary cards while waiting the 2 days to receive my new ones. Talk about convenience! For those of you thinking that accepting a name change over the phone might be a bit of a risk. Here’s the kicker… They needed one last signature confirming «I was who I said I was» witnessed by a State Farm agent. Again was unable to get into the office during their hours as I work in Irvine, and CHRIS (our personal insurance star) HIMSELF came all the way out to my office (ON MY TIME) for the final signature, along with an additional folder of documents for convenient reference, signed with a personal note from Mark Minh himself.
Could these guys just moonlight and open a restaurant already! Jeeze, talk about service! I have honestly never been so impressed with the hospitality of an insurance branch office. They truly go out of their ways to make sure their clients are treated well. Cocktails all around!

I was looking up new services for my home, auto, commercial business, and workmans comp. I don’t know where to begin with the wonderful hospitality and customer service Mark Minh’s office has reached new heights.
Their staff is knowledgeable about all aspects of the insurance field. They’re educated about different experiences do to all the technical questions I threw at them. They go hard, went above and beyond my expectations. This is not your normal insurance office where they plan on sucking the life out of you and not providing the customer service you don’t ever receive. I’ve had over 3 – 4 insurance offices where the services are not up to par. They treat you like family here, the energy, and gestures, are always beyond professional.
I know everyone’s experienced a bad insurance agent here and there. But Mark Minh’s office really due care. They don’t hesitate to get things done at timely manner. They sure don’t let anything slide through the cracks when completing tasks.
