I’ve been looking for a good dimsum place and I stumbled upon this place. I originally thought it was in a restaurant. But it is located in a supermarket and they open pretty early. They speak English and the staff is very friendly. I ordered there dimsum and ate it there, it was cheap and really tasty. I will definitely be going back!

Located inside My Thuan Supermarket, this place does great dim sum and take out food. Their desserts are also great! I always try and make a stop here every time I visit the Little Saigon area.

Terrible, rude, and disgusting are three words I would use to sum up this«food» place. Terrible location, located inside a dirty supermarket with dirty and sticky countertops… I felt like I needed a shower after sitting in the chair. Rude workers, the lady who helped me was so rude and standoffish. I ordered a thit kho for my Dad and she seemed like she didn’t want to serve me. She had short hair with hair lights and was too busy on her phone to help me — her only customer. Long story short, my dad hated the thit kho and ended up getting food poisoning. I also ordered the banh bao here and it was so disgusting my dog wouldn’t even eat it. I’m not sure how this place has such good reviews because my experience was awful. Save your money and go elsewhere!

For a place inside of a supermarket, the dim sum here is very comparable to restaurant quality and its very convenient, you’re in and out in no time. They don’t have a lot of variety but they do have the regular items such as steamed buns, ha cao, xiu mai and chicken feet(they make it sound better by calling it «Phoenix claw»). They also serve traditional Vietnamese dishes as combos and also have Vietnamese noodle soups. I tried their bun bo hue which was very flavorful. The cashier said the wonton soup is their best seller but I wanted something spicy. Don’t forget to try their coffee, I don’t know what they put in there but it’s so addicting! They accept credit cards and cash

This place is amazing. Then bbh is very flavorful and delicious. The dim sim is better than anything in the area, xiu mai is really flavorful and their food is consistent. The café sua da is really good as well.

It’s a nice hole in the wall. Nothing super fancy, but it hits the spot. Had some of their dim sum, which was good and way cheaper than the Capital Seafood I normally go to since its right by my office. But that’s Irvine vs Westminster. The real star for me here is the coffee though. Super strong and has a really nice chicory flavor. A+

This spot is located inside My Thuan Supermarket on Westminster/Magnolia. Most people order the dim sum as take-out. But there some tables available for dining in. Prices are the same compared to other dim sum spots. Food is decent if you want to grab something on the go. Cash only!

Great dim sum place. I am a Chinese and I used to live in Monterey park. And this place offers great dim sum with the same taste I got back then. Very reasonable price and the ice coffee is mother too bitter or too sweet. Love it!

I use to come to here years and years ago when it use to be the old dim sum place but now it’s this mint place! It’s different but in a good way I think, the dumplings are juicy and warm, never dry or cold. A bit pricier than before but still ok, I usually get an iced coffee, shumai and ha gow, the shrimp noodle rolls are good, the baked pork buns and the fried shrimp balls(tom vien) are just ok, I haven’t tried the Vietnamese noodle soups but I plan on it!

Located inside My Thuan Supermarket, Mint Leaf serves a wide variety of Asian food ranging from dim sum, Chinese BBQ, and Vietnamese dishes. Me and my friend were in the mood for Vietnamese food so we ordered a bun rieu, bun bo hue, a side of spring rolls to share, and each got a Vietnamese coffee. My bun rieu had generous portions of fresh crab meat and the broth was very flavorful. My friend liked his bun bo hue as well. The spring rolls tasted very fresh which left us very satisfied. We wanted another order at the end but we were both pretty stuffed by that point. Our favorite was definitely the coffee though. It doesn’t taste like most other Vietnamese coffee but was still super strong. I definitely would come back for the coffee if I’m around the area.

Perfect place to go when you are in a rush and craving dimsum! The dimsum here is set out for you to pick and choose, so lots of variety from the typical dimsum dishes to asian BBQ to vietnamese noodle soups. I have tried most of the dimsum items(my favorite being the hargow and chicken feet) as well as the noodle soups and everything I’ve had was tasty. One great thing is they do accept credit cards compared to other dimsum places that are cash only. Also, don’t forget to get their vietnamese coffee! It’s pretty delicious :) P. S. This is located inside the market!

The dim sum is good at this place, but I’d say it’s a little pricey. However, I loved the texture of the shrimp dim sum. It was soft and moist with just the right amount of chewiness. Although I enjoyed the shrimp dim sum, the steam buns were not good. When I opened the container, the food was cold. Cold. Adding to the coldness, the steam buns were also hard. Despite this, I did get to see the menu for other viet foods which looked really good by the way. I’ll drop by and try those sometime.

This joint may appear to some as a hole-in-wall(or actually a restaurant in a supermarket), but they serve good food. Okay, okay I’m gonna be real with you; the market it’s located in is super grungy and super dirty looking, but this is where the hidden gem Mint Leaf is at! If I want something quick, sometimes I’ll get their dim sum in the morning such as their xui mai or har gow. If I want something soupy, I will then get their hoanh thanh(wonton) soup as the broth is rich and I do love their dumplings! Usually I need two bowls of soup, but their one serving does the trick. I do like their bun rieu too, but I just like hoanh thanh soup way more! When I’m in the area, I’ll show Mint Lead some love especially since their café sua da(Vietnamese iced coffee) clearly wakes me up! And thank goodness they take card since I tend to not carry cash all the time.

FOODISSOGOOD. The only reason why it’s not a 5 star is bc its not really a sit down restaurant. Which means, you get no free water or hot tea. You got to buy the water bottle for a $ 1. And even the utensils are plastic spoons and wooden chopsticks. It’s inside of a market, kinda ghetto. The duck had mostly bones so I don’t really recommend. The shu Mai, BBQ pork, and noodle rolled(idk the name) was pretty good! We got a soup and that was on point. The noodles didn’t have much taste Overall, good tasty cheap food but not such a dine in place!

Ok Food. My dim sum wasn’t made to order it had set for awhile which makes it kind of soggy. The Thai tea is mostly ice but tastes good. The soup was the best thing out of every dim sum they offered. Wouldn’t recommend If you are a dim sum lover. Only if your desperate and in a hurry.

I am angry. Angry at myself for not finding this place sooner. Nice little dim sum place inside my thuan market. Dim sum is pretty good, it’s fast and reasonably priced. The iced coffee is out of this world, tastes like melted chocolate butter if there’s such a thing. For a couple of people who said it was expensive?!? Are you living in the same world I do?!? Do you expect business owners to sell everything for a buck and under? There’s a dollar store for y’all hahahhahah

It’s mediocre food, at best. I got the har gow and xiu mai and some chicken feet. The only thing decent was the chicken feet. I didn’t know the lady behind the counter was watching me when I sat down and popped a shrimp dumpling into my mouth… and shook my head in disapproval. Crappy quality dumplings. Three orders of shrimp dumplings(har gow), two orders of xiu mai and two orders chicken feet for $ 18. I miss the Yum Cha place that used to be here. They recently renovated this space for Mint Leaf and I’m kind of bummed. I loved Yum Cha and used to go there often prior to my Unilocaling days. They had great dim sum items and roasted duck and pork.

Interesting little place inside the My Thuan supermarket that serves some traditional noodle dishes like bun bo hue, bun rieu, bun gia gio and a small assortment of dim sum like xiu mai, xa gao, chicken feet, bbq buns. i think it’s quite decent food, but eating here is a pain because they don’t have actual utensils and use small little plastic ones. Xiu mai is a little too dry, bun rieu is pretty good but nothing to rave about. Also got charged for water which is a bummer. Good for takeout if you want a quick fix.
