This place is a little bit of a dive but the food is really good! The service is always amazing, the ladies here are fast and friendly. Water when seated, coffee in less then five minutes and food is usually fast and on point. Good portion sizes, I never leave hungry. The place is a little beat up but it is clean.

Place is great, nice off to the side hole in the wall café. I had the two egg breakfast with a side of green Chile. They had me seated and served in a timely matter. The service is on top of it, the hash browns are great and the toast was made just right. If you like your eggs over medium these cooks got it covered. Spacious seating and clean. The prices are great, this is a must try for breakfast diner or even just a burger, and they have Mexican food for those that enjoy smothered burritos and enchiladas.

I was here for lunch and the food was what you would expect from a little greasy spoon place. However, the staff was super nice and the place had that old time style ambiance to it, so I would go back and you should stop by for lunch some time.

Good ol’ American diner here, folks. You won’t be surprised and awed by the food, but it is reliable and classic. The waitresses are unobtrusive. I love the relaxed, local vibe. I’d eat here over a Denny’s any day!

I love Nancy’s. I get eggs poached well with all the trimmings. They always cook everything perfectly. Service is fast and friendly and prices are great. I cannot imagine what anyone would have to complain about. I’ve been eating there for 4 years. Yes, it is beat up inside, but clean and I like great food dives. Thanks for being there and open early!

HORRIBLE, just HORRIBLE customer service! Waited nearly 45min for an order untill the owner Nancy came to the table to tell a 20month child to stop touching her window and to sit still. Will never come to this dump again!

I’ve eaten here several times, and I find the staff, and food to be perfect. I’ve never had to wait to be seated. I have coffee within 5 minutes, and food within 15. Smiling waitresses, and bus people who are clean, friendly, and dependable. The food is not spectacular, but neither are there any unpleasant surprises. It is well made, and served quickly. I’m a fan!

I have gone here a few times and not really blown away. Its hit or miss. I think the layout of this place is confusing and kind of a homage to a 1950’s bomb shelter. I think the servers are overburdened, therefore providing mediocre service. I went for lunch and was pretty much forgotten when it came to a drink. The table across from me(again weird layout) was definately taken care of. I respect the fact that a woman owns this(or maybe just runs the place) however, I would feel more inclined to return and visit if a few(much needed) improvements happened. The inside needs a serious makeover. The kitchen is right in the center of the place. Making a small hallway-like area for tables and its just over all weird. The rock texture walls in the back of the place, take me back to the 50’s. The front of the room is just like a few tables thrown together to «fill«the space. I would hope the lack of money this place puts into the appearance would reflect in their food but unfortuantely its just average. I occasionally am with a group of people who go here, but its not my first choice

My first time at Nancy’s on a recommendation of a friend. The staff is friendly and helpful. Portions are good size and the food wait is short!

This is the type of breakfast/lunch café you can find in any town in the US. Pretty classic really. The outside has tattered ripped awnings, graffiti sprayed dumpsters, the building is weathered and parking lot is cracked and faded. The inside is the same. The booth seating is well worn in(aka ripped) and dated. It is quintessentially Federal. The service is pleasant and food is traditional café food. Bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, omelets, a handful of sandwiches and burgers. Nearly everyone there is a regular. The staff and customers are all on first name basis. There are no surprises here. The food will not blow you away, nor will you hate it. Sometimes simple decent food is all that’s needed… and that’s what you’ll find.

If you’re blue collared, retired, very centered in the middle class, love G. spoons, all or any of the above, you’ll love this kinda big G. Spoon off of 72nd and federal. It used to be a Mr. Steak many moon ago and I think the booths still have the original upholstery(you know the type, vinyl with big holes and stuffing coming up through). Had the corned beef hash and eggs and biscuits and gravy(offered in lieu of toast or pancakes). Cooked right although I’m a fan of the highly adulterated sausage type gravy on my biscuit. This was a very mild white gravy and the biscuit wasn’t extraordinary by any stretch, not amazing but still decent. Not real cheap but not terribly expensive, this is a good ol’ neighborhood break. joint where the regular’s first names are known as well as their usual orders. Way better then any chain so I’ll keep this place in my «good enough» file in my messy brain.
