I’ve come here to price compare and shop a few times, but never left buying anything. Specifically I looked at Sony flat-screen TVs. I always do my homework researching lowest prices on the internet and MSRP. With that info in my head, I come in looking at the model numbers that they sell here and they don’t match up with what is offered on Sony’s website. When I do research on some of the model numbers they do sell, I found out the TVs were made to be sold at major retailers like Costco. They are built to to the retailer’s desired specs and have special warrantys that are backed by the retailer. Costco’s extends Sony’s manufacturer warranty from 1 year to 2 years from the date of purchase. So I ask myself, how and why do they get merchandise that is suppose to be sold somewhere else and what does that do to the warranty? They were not listed on Sony’s website as an authorized dealer either. You can probably bargain and get a good deal on a TV, with cash probably even better, but I just have an uneasy feeling in my gut.

Pricing on their HDTV’s is down and dirty, but they also specialize in carrying outdated models as well. If you don’t need the latest and greatest, there are definitely deals to be had here.

So my Dad has this ancient Sony cordless phone, which I think is a prototype for cordless phones which owned forever. It finally dies and we go in search of a new one. Instead of hitting your standard Brand Name electronics places or dept store, we end up here since it’s not too far from where we ate lunch. This place looks kinda like someone setup a warehouse of hot goods and then it just became a storefront. I don’t know I didn’t have a good feeling about it but they seemingly have good deals. Too good to be true? Who knows…
