This place is over price and the customer service is extremely bad especially the old asian lady(THEMOM with the fob hair cut and a ghetto permanent make-up). She is an uneducated loud mouth hag that bad– mouthed her own customers in front of them !!! She has no class or standard when it comes to customer services. I know that old asian has a reputation of being rude and mean, but this old lady is way beyond those two words. The people work here knows that their customers do not have any knowledge or expertise in making a ao dai, therefore they charged a really high price and did a half ass job. As customers, we trust in them to make a beautiful dress with a reasonable price. However, their craftsmanship in the ao dai is terrible, they can’t even sew a proper piece of fabric into a correct place. My dress has extra fabric sticking out, and the neck was too high. When I asked them to fix it. They said«no» because it is suppose to be like that, I said it looked tacky and awful. I can’t move my neck, and they REFUSED to alter the neck too. WHATTHEHECK???, I CAN“T MOVEMYNECK. I have to reason with them about their mistakes and the dress needs alterations. I shouldn’t have to argue and reason with them. They should fix it as soon as I said I can’t move neck. Even though they fixed the dress, and now it has HOLES in them. They were careless. NEVERINMYLIFE I WILLEVERCOMEBACKHERE. I had a traditional Vietnamese dress(ao dai) sewn here a while back and was EXTREMELY pleased with everything involved with Oanh Nga Tailor. Believe it or not, my mom and I spotted some beautiful drapes at the World Market(white, linen window drapes with some subtle flower prints) and brought it here to get sewn into an ao dai. At first I was worried that there wasn’t going to be enough fabric but the tailor here totally made it work. They were very receptive when I told them how I wanted to sleeves and how high I wanted the collar. The ladies here are very friendly which was a huge relief. Trust me, some Vietnamese ladies who are trying to sell you something can be pushy — and if they’re taking your measurements, they can be a bit judgmental when it comes to your body type… :\ I felt totally comfortable here and when I explained that I needed a dress for a Vietnamese Human Rights Awareness night, they showed genuine interest and promised me the dress would be done in time for the event. The price they quoted me was also very reasonable(although I can’t remember it now). Right now I’m shopping around for some nice fabrics and once I find it, I’ll be here getting my dresses done.
